Jessie knew the ex was gonna be there and did THE MOST. The loudness, the voice, the fake interrupting to "make amends", the outfit. She was inauthentic. Was too much...at least for me.

He brought his new girlfriend to make her jealous. This is why he was so upset when she did not show much emotion and stayed away. He had to go harass her to get some sort of reaction.

He explains in the next episode that he thinks he caught her cheating on him, but he never confronted her about it, either in the moment or later, and never got clarification on what happened in that moment. I’m not defending her actions because it might have happened, but I have lots of guy friends that I hang out with and I have never once cheated on my husband. This girl is literally the opposite of Mal…I think Sal is having some kind of weird reaction to the whole experiment, but if they are in love and want to be together, I wish them all the best.

I love Iyanna and Jarret's family, I am sad to know they filed for divorce. They have people in their corner that genuinely love and support and hold them accountable. That would be great if many married folks had that love and support from their families.
I respect Iyanna a thousand percent though because so many people stay in marriages that end up wrecking them. Jarrett will probably regret not trying hard enough to be a better husband.

What really bothered me about Sal is that it seems like he completely disregarded and forgot that he rejected a woman on international TV. It will always be a scene people have access to and watch over and over again. Regardless whether its done to a male or female, it will hurt and it's quite embarrassing. And the fact that he's done that to Mal and still felt its okay to bring his new gf to the party feels very insensitive to me. Sal could attend the party as a dude who's no longer single, without actually bringing his gf and cause all that awkwardness.

I really feel some type of way about Sal. I'm not sure why he keeps taking negative jabs at Mallory. He acts like he was innocent during their dating period. He had a whole girl show up in the middle of night and Mal forgave him and choose to move on. She makes ONE MISTAKE reminiscing with Jarett (and I didn't like it either) and she's the villain?? Mal really loved Sal and choose to be with him and was looking forward to being with him. She trusted him. . . I just can't with Sal.
I'm starting to think that Jared was doing these things on purpose. I mean iyana was not his first choice. I'm not quite sure if he would've done better with Mallory, but it seems he would rather be with other people than be with iyana. Let's just be honest here. I think he thinks iyana is cute and sweet in a puppy dog kind of way, but not in a lover or wife way. He didn't like her like that point blank.

I agree. Although I like them together, his actions make it clear that he didnt want this marriage. Men change for the woman they want. They will go above and beyond to make sure shes happy and will change their behavior to do so. A guy who stays out partying all night instead of coming home to you, is a guy who doesnt value or truly love you. It breaks my heart for Iyana.
I like them together but I honestly wish she had turnt down the proposal. I am happy she walked away though. Some people stay and create all sorts of road block that keeps them together and they experience a life of stress and pain.

I just watched him on a podcast and he has about a million balls in the air and I don’t think Iyana matches his energy well. Not saying Mal would, because I honestly think that ship has sailed into ancient history and did long before After the Alter. Two relatively decent people can just not work as a couple.

I think what's being ignored with Jarret is he WORKS at a night club. Yeah if you go out at 11 and stay out til 7am, just drinking. That's messy and sounds like you need a quick trip to AA. But he works at the night club, he probably gets off work at like 3 or 4 am. If he has a few drinks with his friends AFTER work that could easily lead to him coming home 6-7am. And he's holding down 3 jobs (2 of those being the nightclub jobs-Bartending and Security). I use to work the door at a night club and while I went home at closing (it was my second job) there were plenty of other people for which this was when their 'after work' fun social time started.
There was absolutely not enough context about what was going on there with Jarrett. There was no talk about day drinking or needing a beer to get through the day.
He also seems like a natural night owl, which is likely the same exact opposite of Iyana. Truly oil and water personalities.
I'm someone who can't move on until I confront that person (only for bigs thing those) I don't know why but I don't feel better until I do. I understand Natalie. Shayna was detrimental to her relationship and she acts like she had nothing to do with it. Natalie is not a home wrecker for wanting Shayna to be held accountable for her own actions. I do agree that she not doing this to help Shayna fiancée she doing this cause she hates her for good reasons tho.

I believe Shane and Shaina and they said 1 thing that makes all the sense. They don't sit well with others because they are reactive. So people gravitate towards the person that can play the bigger victim and they don't have a victim mentality. I know this all too well. I have met some people with the Natalie persona who had people eating out their hands. Shaina left because she did not want to ruin the party. And I absolutely hate how people can start cutting you off based on what someone said instead of trying to find out for themselves.
And now that I am at the end of the new episodes. No one has ever seen the messages Natalie is claiming and even she started to back pedal on what she said.

People are otherwise easily influenced by each other's negativity. Something positive, new and developing is dismissed with a lot of giddy chatter. They talk so much about finding and standing up for themselves or the truth but they don't even know what this means.

Well at one point shayna pulled Shane aside and told him he shouldn’t be with Natalie and their relationship was fake. This was during the season while Shayna/Natalie were still together. I think shayna also declared her feelings to him after he had picked Natalie.

Natalie and Shaina both got issues. I will say on Jaretts behalf, he seems to be trying with THREE JOBS all to provide for iyana. I think she needs therapy for past trauma because the way she loves so hard is almost concerning. And she never has any flaws. It’s always Jarrett whose the problem. I totally believe he would’ve preferred Mal. He should’ve never gone with a second choice. As he mentioned specifically he needed to quit Security/Bartending (at NIGHT clubs) to make coming home earlier happen, it’s entirely unclear how much ‘late’ is work and how much ‘late’ is true partying. There is zero mention of him knocking back drinks at home or needing a drink to get through the day.

We all know when newlyweds don’t live together they broke up! Divorce move on - he is living single! Deepti and Kyle are hanging on to get a paycheck and tv time. Jessie is so annoying. She is trying so hard she even gets in Mallory’s face - Sal is a cornball and boring so Jessie is his beard! Danielle is so unhappy she wants Shaina to be thrown out the group. Shaina realized her errors and moved on. I wish I could see Natalie’s face when she sees her ex getting his haircut by Shaina. Nick and whatever her name is were horrible in the show she got in his damn nerves - maybe after the cameras they got closer but I won’t be surprised if they don’t make it. This show is not good.
In my opinion, I honestly think Natalie is the fakest. She would say stuff to make Shaina look bad without a proof. The way she protects herself. She act like she’s the victim every time. Shaina made her fair share of mistake but literally she’s over it and is literally the winner out of all the cast members by actually finding love
