I am a little wary of Izzy, didn’t he subtly make Johnnie break up with Chris by giving her hope that he wanted to be her only connection? Once Johnnie broke up with Chris, Izzy dumped her. Seems like it was a power trip for him. Johnnie came across like a fool. Poor Chris though, he gave his heart to Johnnie but who would like to settle for being someone’s second choice? I am glad he walked away.
Izzy was pushing for vulnerability and when he got it, he wanted something else. Izzy wants someone sexually. He’s very unstable. Izzy was pushing for Stacy to be vulnerable but she didn’t take the bait.
Honestly we as females don't like to take signs as what they are. He didn't insert anything into the conversation, but he did entertain it by not stopping her as she's opening herself up relentlessly. He wasn't that interested from the get-go. Lydia is the biggest manipulative person I have ever seen in my life !!!! She clearly said she wanted to get back with Uche to him and he said nope then she tried to flip the story when she told Aaliyah , he never said he wanted to start from zero with her SHE DID. Lydia befriended the girl he is into, never told her the truth until she was outed. Who would want to be friends with an exes new girl when you still have feelings for him ??? She proceeds to tell her the most inappropriate things, when was the last time they had sx, personal things about his life, nobody asked her, « I bought his dog a toy he loves me…. His friends are so cool … You can ask me I know everything about him 💄» she was trying SO HARD to get in her mind, even though Aaliyah said several times « I don’t want to know all that » Lydia is into uche or his lifestyle and she doesn’t know why he broke up with her… obviously she tried to sabotage his situationship with Aaliyah. This is exactly what happened! At first I was so happy to see them because I love female friendships on shows but knowing what we know now, that was a gross display manipulation. Lydia is able to hide behind her boisterous and “I’m so caring” façade but she’s a snake. I’m so glad Aliyah left and I hope nothing comes from that meeting with Uche.
The first red flag was the advice she gave Aaliyah when her and Uche had their first argument, and her saying "you are me". Also all of her connections were so disgenuine from the get go. She just seemed like she wanted to be in love, and would just say anything to make it happen. Like guilt people into not wanting to "break her heart" .
I love Stacy. The way she carries herself... she's so intelligent, calm in the most chaotic moments she's the kind to just observe from a distance. Get involved when it's necessary. Stacy is alright. I do find it a bit shady to keep everything to yourself in the girls' lounge while still listening to them talk about their interest in Izzy. And there's just something about the way she does her makeup that looks off, it doesn't do her features justice.

Lydia knew from day 1 that Uche was here and "happened" to become besties with the woman Uche was pursuing?? And Lydia was still not over him only THREE MONTHS BEFORE FILMING. I think the problem though is that Aaliyah hasn’t taken responsibility for the cheating (she tried to justify it multiple times) so that would be pretty concerning for a person to hear honestly.

This season is already SO much better than the last. The production team or the story writers are really giving us all the clues and letting us figure it out on our own. And the cast is so interesting and complicated. Lots of twists I didn’t see coming.
You know I really loved Lydia at first I said she’s a girls girl she got Aaliyah‘s back I was like I want her to succeed. After finding out that Lydia really is still in love with that man and been playing games with Aaliyah makes me sick to my stomach and I completely and totally agree that Aaliyah ran for the hills. I'm sorry but JP is SUCH good person? The way he burst into tears when talking about his childhood not bc it was bad for him but because of the pain his sisters felt was such a genuine, caring thing. Taylor also handled this so well. They're just two sweet people and I really am rooting for them

So, this is my first time watching this show and I have very unpopular opinions. 1. Lydia is being set up. Production meddled and told her not to tell Aaliyah about Uche. She is still looking desperate to stay on this show, which is why she probably played into this. 2. Izzy is a half and half F boy. As soon as these girls got vulnerable he shut down. Stacey can do better. 3. JP is a super conservative guy and it's weirdly obsessed about the American flag. They have no physical connection also. 4. What is Milton even doing there? 5. Aaliyah needs to run away from this man. The way he said 'If I wanted to be with Lydia, I would'. Like what??
The only set up I think producers did was going on their instagrams and saw that those 2 dated and put them in the same show. There’s no coincidence. However I don’t think they told her not to tell Lydia. She might have chosen to do that herself to influence Aliyah because the first time when she cried, Lydia completely support her to leave Uche. One thing I will say is that we accuse Uche of being so judgemental, and he is, but many of us viewers are even more judgmental of the cast members than Uche. The way some of us have commented on cast members like Lydia, Johnnie, Uche is harsh and frightening. Lets all remember that all of them are human and humans are messy and imperfect beings. What we say will affect them mentally and emotionally.

A at first I did like Izzy but in the follow episodes he showed sides of himself that I didn’t necessarily like. It’s giving emotional unavailability and mommy issues. He wants a woman who’s reassuring him the whole time and when a woman wants love , he recuses to reassure. I don’t know how to feel about Lydia , like she’d take everything at this point. Uche seems like a very logical and compact guy who knows how to talk for sure but why didn’t he clarify everything at the beginnings? Poor Aaliah 😢 Ok I understand that Aaliah did cheat in the past and this is definitely a red flag 🚩. What people say on repeat in every season is "I just wanna be loved for who I am" and it just seems like a part of them actually doesn't believe they are loveable; so they look for someone else to prove it to them. So if they get to marry or be with someone through this experiment it's like the ultimate proof of their loveability. Many people seem to go into this experiment with the same hurt and are completely outsourcing the healing of this wound. And for many of them there seems to be so much urgency and emphasis on having to find someone there in that show. They give it SO much importance that it makes them so devasted when someone who they've known for 1 week max. doesn't choose them.
^^^THIS. Everyone is SO desperate to be loved, i.e. validated externally that they are indeed lovable. It’s extremely sad. And maybe shows us something truly tragic about our culture/society/world…a lot of us are pretty f’ed up
And even if you do find someone who "loves you for who you are", that does not mean there won't be any conflicts or heaps of compromising. Want unconditional love? You may find it in an awesome partner. But that's a lot to ask from one person. You will definitely find it from the Divine. God. The Source. The Creator... however you want to word it. Sometimes people are expecting too much from a human relationship.

You can absolutely have the take that Chris may have wanted to share that with a broad audience to raise awareness (which is iffy at best because if that was the case, he could absolutely have said as much in those in between interviews they do. Again, you can have that take, but it's a bizzare take to have given context clues). I thought Stacy was the main villain this season because I could see some edits trying to show her being “shady” by not sharing her person. However I quickly realized they got nothing else from her. I am a little wary of Izzy, didn’t he subtly make Johnnie break up with Chris by giving her hope that he wanted to be her only connection? Once Johnnie broke up with Chris, Izzy dumped her. Seems like it was a power trip for him. Johnnie came across like a fool. Poor Chris though, he gave his heart to Johnnie but who would like to settle for being someone’s second choice? I am glad he walked away.

This is exactly what happened! At first I was so happy to see them because I love female friendships on shows but knowing what we know now, that was a gross display manipulation. Lydia is able to hide behind her boisterous and “I’m so caring” façade but she’s a snake. I’m so glad Aliyah left and I hope nothing comes from that meeting with Uche.

So, this is my first time watching this show and I have very unpopular opinions.
1. Lydia is being set up. Production meddled and told her not to tell Aaliyah about Uche. She is still looking desperate to stay on this show, which is why she probably played into this.
2. Izzy is a half and half F boy. As soon as these girls got vulnerable he shut down. Stacey can do better.
3. JP is a super conservative guy and it's weirdly obsessed about the American flag. They have no physical connection also.
4. What is Milton even doing there?
5. Aaliyah needs to run away from this man. The way he said 'If I wanted to be with Lydia, I would'. Like what??
The only set up I think producers did was going on their instagrams and saw that those 2 dated and put them in the same show. There’s no coincidence. However I don’t think they told her not to tell Lydia. She might have chosen to do that herself to influence Aliyah because the first time when she cried, Lydia completely support her to leave Uche. One thing I will say is that we accuse Uche of being so judgemental, and he is, but many of us viewers are even more judgmental of the cast members than Uche. The way some of us have commented on cast members like Lydia, Johnnie, Uche is harsh and frightening. Lets all remember that all of them are human and humans are messy and imperfect beings. What we say will affect them mentally and emotionally.

What people say on repeat in every season is "I just wanna be loved for who I am" and it just seems like a part of them actually doesn't believe they are loveable; so they look for someone else to prove it to them. So if they get to marry or be with someone through this experiment it's like the ultimate proof of their loveability. Many people seem to go into this experiment with the same hurt and are completely outsourcing the healing of this wound. And for many of them there seems to be so much urgency and emphasis on having to find someone there in that show. They give it SO much importance that it makes them so devasted when someone who they've known for 1 week max. doesn't choose them.
^^^THIS. Everyone is SO desperate to be loved, i.e. validated externally that they are indeed lovable. It’s extremely sad. And maybe shows us something truly tragic about our culture/society/world…a lot of us are pretty f’ed up
And even if you do find someone who "loves you for who you are", that does not mean there won't be any conflicts or heaps of compromising. Want unconditional love? You may find it in an awesome partner. But that's a lot to ask from one person. You will definitely find it from the Divine. God. The Source. The Creator... however you want to word it. Sometimes people are expecting too much from a human relationship.
Uche out here judging Aaliyah for cheating two years ago when he slept with his ex who is in the pod three months ago. The hypocrisy. I'm glad Aaliyah left.
He was just sleeping with the girl he had a thing with in the past.. He didnt have a relationship at that moment so that is not the same as cheating.

@@dra2521 i think the most important part is how chris felt about it since it's his story. if he felt okay to disclose it on camera then it probably not as big of a deal as you made it seems to be. i can tell that you want to preach about basic human respect and humanity, but sometimes you're the only one who's deeply troubled and offended by your own thoughts and beliefs. like the other commenter said, it's not all that bad since on the same note it raise awareness and provide a platform for male sa victims to share their experience too since it can occur in both genders. just saying, everybody can use a therapist, chris def does if he didn't have one already. you can probably seek help for your traumas too
@rubiirae wild that you're making the accusation that because I'm concerned for the privacy of a man on a dating show very well known for faulty editing and exploiting certain situations for added drama, I have unprocessed trauma and that I'm projecting. You can absolutely have the take that Chris may have wanted to share that with a broad audience to raise awareness (which is iffy at best because if that was the case, he could absolutely have said as much in those in between interviews they do. Again, you can have that take, but it's a bizzare take to have given context clues). But going to the lengths to say that I'm the issue, that I'm projecting and that I'm harming the potential for male SA victims to come forward because I have unprocessed trauma? I thought Stacy was the main villain this season because I could see some edits trying to show her being “shady” by not sharing her person. However I quickly realized they got nothing else from her. She’s actually pretty cool and woman just minded her business do her own thing. The main villain here is Johnie aka our big drama source 😂. And don’t let me start with her baby voice and vocal fry. Make me wonder if she usually talks like that as a lawyer? Then the Lydia bombshell dropped and we got 2 lol. I’m glad Chris walked away from Johnie, she gave out a lot of bad vibes and I’ll reserve those names until we have more to see in later episodes. I KNEW that 1000% producers will not let Johnie go because without her the show would be drama free aka boring and they don’t want that 🙄. Who is going to wreck Izzy and Stacy’s relationship ? Lydia though, is definitely another shady woman. Out of all the girls, she pick Aliyah to be her “best friend” there? Um 🤔. A best friend that hid big secret from her, and then after that was exposed, proceeded to tell her how much she knew about Uche and finally KO her with the news she eff him 3 months ago to cause riff between the couple. Im confused everyone bashing for oversharing? If these are potentially marriage partners they need to know your trauma and past.. in real world sure it may take time but this is a rushed experience where they have to open up.
