Considering Hexblade is literally a subclass based around a sword, it’s absolutely perfect for a soul reaper. It’s just a shame that some of the choices made in the subclass don’t even really fit it at all. Like that whole kill a man and raise his shadow as a weird undead thing.
@@dndbuilds It just seems so… out of theme. Like okay, maybe it fits the Shadowfell thing, but the whole point of it is a connection to a weapon and being able to debuff enemies. Having a cursed soul bound to you makes little sense without reflavoring.

They are warlocks who formed contracts with blades, but they are also meant to be the cursed witch doctor type deal with curses and raising zombies. You could look at it as part of the hollow's powers as well. Hollows gained power by absorbing the spirit energy of any creatures (humans, soul reapers, or hollows) or making lesser hollows serve them, this is kind of a twist of that as by killing an opponent, you've overpowered them, and forced the soul to serve you almost like forcing the soul to become a lesser hollow, and outside of the Visored training Ichigo doesn't really choose to explore his hollow powers, he just really controls it to keep it in check, as he had to confront them again as they evolved to learn the Final Getsugatensho. Could you possibly do builds for a Quincy or Fullbringer in the future? The Quincy are the driving point in the new arc and seeing how to make one function in dnd would be interesting. Especially now that they have bows AND swords XD
To be fair, Uryu would be a hexblade too, just a bow wielder instead. In some ways the HB works better for them, including the 6th level ability. When you look at the Shinigami, Arrancar and the Quincy, they usually have an equivalent ability to each other. Only Arrancar don't have some kind of real spell craft.
I'm definitely going to make my way through a good chunk of bleach and Naruto and a few other anime, I just wish I had somebody to help edit my videos, so I could get them out quicker lol
@@dndbuilds would you consider trying to do the homonculi from full metal alchemist brotherhood? Mainly Pride. Even if its far in the future I'd really love to see it
Yeah RUclips has auto captions that have trouble sometimes lol. You should see the fun captions every time I said "Ainz Ooal Gown" for my Overlord build
I think a couple really really cool ideas would be Sung Jin Woo from Solo Leveling, Itadori Yuji from Jujutsu Kaisen, and maybe even Denji from Chainsaw Man
Sung Jin Woo, would be one of the most overpowered characters I could possibly try to build... and that's saying something considering I did a build for Goku lol
@@dndbuilds Lmfao that's absolutely fair honestly. Sung Jin Woo would destroy most anime protagonists if you boil down what he actually is when you find out later. Keeping my comment spoiler free just in case lol
interesting build since halloween is coming id love to see a john carpenter thing build, the playable monster from carrion or alex mercer from prototype1 and 2 (all 3 are kinda similar)
I did actually throw a vote on my Patreon for some Halloween related builds, and I definitely have a few lined up for this month, but I was thinking about John Carpenter's the thing, it just didn't make it to this month
I like this build in general as I'm a huge Hexblade fan, and the fact that it seems to mesh with some of Ichigo's abilities does seem pretty cool. Do note that the Defense fighting style taken from the Fighter class does require you to be wearing armor to benefit for the additional +1 to AC. Also, another cool thought could be to up-cast that Shadow Blade to better imitate that Final Getsuga, bringing what would be 2d6 (from a Greatsword) to 4d8 per swing and offer additional methods to gain advantage, further hyping your crit chance. Main downside is that shadow blade will need to use your Dexterity instead of your Charisma as it cannot become your Hex Weapon.
Dex based Eldritch knight. Mage armor and shield spell. Mage armor represents the difficulty enemies have damaging even though he never wears anything more than robes. Eventually get shadow blade and a bunch of extra attacks with action surge for bankai.
Great video man! I’m so excited for the anime to return! Quick note, defense fighting style doesn’t work with mage armor! A cool replacement would be blind Fighting to show a martial way of how he can sense others spiritual pressure.
I always wind up reading it as just a general +1 AC, but you're totally right!!! I missed that, you need to be wearing armor, and Mage Armor probably wouldn't count. But I do like your alternative with Blind Fighting!
@@dndbuilds no worries! The wording is weird because mage armor has “armor” in the name but it calls out it ends early if you wear armor. That would mean it doesn’t work with defense since it specifically says armor! Just some weird wording! Love the content!
@@ThatRules oh I really liked your alternative fighting style, I would have totally taken that if I had realized everything earlier. I'm glad you like the content though I have plenty more to post so hopefully I can keep getting you to come back 😁
@@dndbuilds Dope was thinking that maybe I do more Zarathos and less ghost rider with Fallen Aasimar and levels of Oathbreaker and levels of Fiend Warlock but that's just me
probably should have waited on this till the 1000 year blood war is over since he, well, you will have to see for yourself the manga was awesome, can't wait to see it animated!
How are you gonna wield a Greatsword without proficiency? I think Oath of Watchers Paladin to give you the weapon proficiency you need for Zangetsu and the flavor of defending the borders between the realms like a Shinigami. I’d go with Fallen Aasimar to represent Ichigo’s mixed and the “angelic guide” can be his Inner Hollow. Necrotic Shroud is perfection for Hollowification. For Hexblade, your patron can be Old Man Zangetsu. Smites for Getsuga Tensho. Eldritch Blast for Cero.
Initially you can't wield a great sword without proficiency, which is why it kind of fits the build that you're using rukias sword in the early levels. However once you have the ability to have pact of the blade you can make a great sword in your automatically proficient with it
You can actually cast two spells using action surge. The only restriction as far as casting spells on your turn is casting them as a bonus action. If you cast both as an action you're completely fine. Of course you'll burn through all your spell slots, but its definitely very useful in certain situations. Also, you can replace spells you learn when you level up
Yes you can replace spells when you level up, but you cannot cast more than one actual spell on a single turn, you can cast multiple cantrips, but you are still limited to just one spell per turn. It does list it under bonus actions on page 203 of the players handbook, but Jeremy Crawford has clarified it as well, you are pretty much always limited to a single spell that is not qualified as a canned trip per turn. But that doesn't mean once per round, so you can get tricky that way
@@dndbuilds I do not agree, as far as I've seen Crawford had clarified that whenever you cast a spell as a bonus action the only other spell you cast is a cantrip. There is no such restriction to action casting. If you have an alternate source for your claim I'd appreciate if you could link it.
@@darkestlight660 did some hunting to find the sage advice, and looks like you're right! Although it makes the bonus action rule a bit weird. Jeremy Crawford even states you can use action surge to cast fireball twice. So you're definitely correct, but it does still seem a bit weird that you can't do it with a bonus action then...
@@dndbuilds yeaaah, it's kinda weird. My thought is that it's because they wanted to limit people who could cast multiple spells in one turn, given that metamagic adept is just a feat available to anyone, bit action surge is a 2 level class investment, especially for full casters.
Randomly found this in my recommended list. Was actually really cool watch! A few ideas that might be fun to try for you. Dante from Devil May Cry (Although I feel like some of it would be similar to Ichigo) Maple from I Don't Want To get Hurt So I Maxed Out My Defense (This character is absolutely broken) Holo from Spice and Wolf (This one just cause the idea of a character able to shapeshift into a wolf and eat enemies lol)
Yeah I do have plans to make Dante, but he is very similar to this build so I'm waiting a little bit, and I actually do have plans to make something similar to Maple but since it's kind of a not crazy popular anime even though I actually really enjoy it, I plan to make an ultimate tank build that I'll be putting up on my channel in the near future, with plenty of references to her
@@dndbuilds Its more popular then you think! Season 2 starts coming out in January and a guy at my local yugioh spot actually has his car wrapped with her on it lol But I get you, still not to the levels of DBZ or Bleach.
Unohana is a great build. i didn't worry about 1 to 1 translation myself, as i went more for the spirit of Unohana. Unohana is a Battle Maniac. she learned healing to heal her opponents and herself and make the fights last longer. she fights with ONLY her sword. her whale summon exists to be a spell-casting sidekick that takes care of unimportant tasks during a fight. kinda like a Familiar, but you can also represent it's other features with other spells like Fly. i went for; Variant Human(Magic Initiate) [Booming Blade, Prestidigitation, Find Familiar] Conquest Paladin 7 [she is shown throughout the series to be terrifying behind the scenes. we the audience only really get to see the face during her fight with Kenpachi) Life Cleric 13 [self explanatory. but also, i only took the buffing, healing, and resurrecting spells. Regeneration is her Capstone spell and represents what i think her Bankai was supposed to be] the challenge is to create a build that never has to directly combat, only support, but is also a terrifying combatant with a sword. Great Weapon Master, Smites, Divine Strike, Booming Blade, and Holy Weapon give her tons of threatening damage with her sword. and Regeneration healing her 10 HP per turn is really strong. the one thing about the build i used is that it relies on Heavy Armor, which Bleach does not use.
that was such a beautiful game, I have made a few non-super combat heavy builds with Loki (being low combat) and Sonic the Hedgehog (being built purely for speed). But I haven't made too many completely non-combat characters, but I definitely would in the future.
This is my first time watching your build and that is an excellent way. Have you considered ichigo is a decended from 1 of 4 noble families in the soul society. Inwhich puts him I. Line to become the new soul king. I think giving him divine abilities, also a paladin with divine spiritual skill/influence. What you think
Love your videos. Bleach is one of my favorite animes. I just don't get everyone's obsession with Echo knight. It ranks right next to champion fighter for me.
I'm usually not a crazy Echo Knight fan, but it's usually a solid for tanking and reducing damage to allies. But for this build, I just thought it was a cool way to throw in Flash Step while simultaneously getting another attack and Action Surge
Bladesinger could also work. Granted you don't get a greatsword, but you get substantial buffs via your very own theme song! Also you get a ton more spells to do anime stuff with. All in all though your build looks fun. I'm just not a fan of warlock because it means your character sold their soul and becomes the patron's new pet.
While not trying to imitate ichigo, I did use Getsuga / Misty Step as an eladrin Bladesinger themed around shadows. We run Green-Flame Blade (Reskinned Black Flame Blade) and Booming Blade (Reskinned Whispering Blade) as intended (not fully RAW) - Shadow Blade + Cantrip is allowed. It defenitely gives off a shinigami-like feel [ Edit: While having 6 STR, I asked my DM to allow multiclassing to Paladin while fulfilling only the Charisma req, and he's allowed it - should I want to in the future ]
Man, this build got insane! I love it and now 100% want to try it. I have been torn with what to suggest next so I'll just do both: Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty Sephiroth from FF7
I actually did a Sephiroth build and I combined it with cloud, but I have actually been tempted to do Rick from Rick and Morty a couple times now, I think I'll probably wind up building him soon.
@@Zendrist-8128 it was definitely a much earlier build of mine, but I think it still holds up for the most part even if I have learned a thing or two about voiceover and editing since then lol
Hey! I have an idea for a DnD build that I would love to see you create! Death from the Darksiders game series! He is very versatile when it comes to his fighting style, choice of weapons, magic powers and base stats.
love the build, love ichigo, it is all amazing, however only thing i want to point out is the defense fighting style only working while wearing armor, unless mage armor counts, all in all a great video :)
Also the improved pact weapon scales....its plus +3 by then lol and u can add the smite to more then 1 attack. Plus u can use the sword of disaster on normal swings lol
That's awesome, but that is a little bit of a rough mix just because it requires both intelligence and charisma, but if you just so happen to be rolling for stats instead that could work out super well
That's a valid point he's actually a surprisingly good student, you could always sacrifice some constitution or dexterity for some intelligence, but it's your choice
I've been wanting to do Kenshin for a little bit, he's a little more straightforward but that's not a bad thing, I think he can still be a pretty good build
Ichigo has like 3 builds. I can also think of an Uryu/Quincy build. 1. Soul Reaper: Paladin (Reaper Subclass) + Wizard build. Reaper Subclass for the Zanpakutō powers. Wizard for things like Kido and Spiritual Pressure. 2. Hollow: Warlock build with Fiend Patron. (Maybe even add in Sorcerer for Sorlock.) Could even use Delayed Fireball Blast for Cero. 3. Fullbringer: Hexblade Warlock build. Since that suits the bound object idea. Bonus, Uryu/Quincy Build: Arcane Archer (Fighter Subclass) + maybe Ranger (Archery Fighting Style) build. Since Arcane Archer allows you to use Magic Arrows, which remind me of a Schrift. (Favored Enemy could be Infernal. They are similar to demons, and so are hollows.)
@@dndbuilds Ah I see, still new to the game I wasn't aware Blade of disaster used concentration. I might try this build in my next campaign though. Keep up the awesome video's!
@@TheBluepentagon thanks!!! I wish there was a way to get double concentration... Because that would open up so many possibilities, but it would just be too overpowered
Just for kicks, someone in my group must be a Bard or something, to get Unearthly Chorus, just to have On The Precipice of Defeat playing when entering combat.
This is pretty good. However I'd say he would get Eldritch blast instead of booming blade as it is his only form of ranged attacks. Also for story reasons, he would lose down to warlock lvl 10 where he burned out his powers. Then the next arc see him gain Divine Soul Sorcerer levels as he explores his background.
Well I did give him Eldritch class just not right away, and I could see the reasoning behind going with Divine soul, but they get so many spells, and Ichigo just doesn't have that many different abilities in most situations, so I really wanted to focus in on the abilities he already had
@@dndbuilds I noticed eldritch blast but because you added so late when its is pretty iconic to him, it felt wierd to me Also I understand the concern but, like how you flavor the pact spells to be his anime powers, these spells would be no different. Especially since Cleric spells got alot of buffs he can put on himself. Also you can always just ignore the spells you from sorcerer and just use the Spells slots to fuel Meta Magic by converting them to points. Just make the few moves you have be better.
@@ruga-ventoj I think Eldritch Blast would make sense to swap to his level 4 Warlock Cantrip Known. Clean and easy fix to match up with the course of his development in the story.
I do have him planned actually, because I know the show gets some crap sometimes, but I really enjoyed it and I would love to do a build about him. Also, hoping my Dungeon Master Patrons don't see this, but I'm also planning a surprise appearance for him in a Streamed DnD Session soon too lol
If you want really broken check out my one punch man build lol I even forgot to include one can trip on the final calculations for that build, and it can literally one shot absolutely anything in Dungeons& Dragons
As this uses Armour of Shadows to use mage armour for his AC, the Defence fighting style would not work as it is +1 AC while wearing armour. I would probably suggest picking up Blind fighting to help represent his limited ability to detect spirit pressure (Ichigo was famously really bad at this) to fight while his vision is impaired.
Warlocks are definitely super powerful, their only real downside is the limited amount of spell slots they have, although they do recharge on a short rest which does help with that a bit
You can go back and forth with each class when you multiclass? I thought you were stuck with the second class and couldn’t level your original one anymore. I’m new and just learning.
I’d swap Eldritch Mind and/or Armor of Shadows for Devil’s Sight and/or Relentless Hex, tbh, it’s not like you’re really going to get hit or use concentration as make or break anyhow.
Cool. I've seen a bit of bleach, so this will be interesting. I'd be interested in a less combat oriented character to be made, maybe someone good at controlling the battlefield and other people, who has the option to go into battle if they really need to. I'm thinking Lelouch from Code Geass
@@dndbuilds Loki is definitely more of an illusionist than a Frontline fighter, I'll have to check that video out, I may have watched it before I just don't remember
@@dndbuilds really? You should watch it, it's a good one: the new version has better story as it follows the manga but the old version has more "soul" and charisma, at least for me.
This could be me just reading hex warrior incorrectly, but it doesn't apply to weapons that have the two-handed property, which means you wouldn't be able to do Ichigo's 2 handed zanpaktu
So you don't get proficiency from being a hex blade, which is true so you wouldn't be able to use your proficiency bonus while swinging the blade initially, similar to being unfamiliar with the sword when rukia gave it to him. However it's my understanding you're able to create pretty much any weapon you want with pact of the blade so you get that proficiency once you get pact of the blade
@@dndbuilds You are correct. I did not read the very last sentence of the pact of the blade that extends the charisma bonus to those blades. Thank you. I will continue my soul reaper dreams
To put it RAW. Hex Warrior can only be applied to a weapon you are proficient in AND doesn't have the Two-Handed property, but it extends (automatically, you don't have to actively do this) to any weapon conjured through Pact of the Blade regardless of its properties.
This build have me a great, my dm reads it as bad, idea in their one shot... everyone starts at 15. Im going to have a little to much fun. Dm rolled my stats with 2 20s, and 2 19s.
Ah yes, the hexblade. Because Ichigo raises wraith-like minions in battle, and curses his enemies. Cmon man. You could have said full undead warlock, with the lvl3 fear shroud being akin to his hollow mask or something simple. Pact of the blade, with a level of fighter for weapon proficiencies, that then opens up all choices of soul reaper blade size
Yeah the minion part of the hexblade always feels like it's kind of not fitting with the rest of the subclass. It's just unfortunate that this is a hexblade is the only subclass that uses charisma for their weapon attacks. And I really wanted to focus on the idea that the sword was an extension of his soul
Haven't watched yet but I'm thinking a barbarian. That way you can have a heavy weapon while being unarmoured. Maybe even a zealot barbarian as Ichigo often refuses to die. Could maybe did warlock for a few other powers.
Absolutely, and you wouldn't need improved packed weapon if you already had a magic weapon, allowing you to get a little more versatile with what invocation you choose
@@dndbuilds Indeed, for example, if you want to play on the Hexes more, you could do Maddening Hex to deal extra Psychic Damage with every hit or Relentless Hex if you want to play of the Flashstep thing more.
So I've just started getting into dnd with friends. Would really love to make a character much like this. What are all the books ill need to make him as im pretty sure a fair few of what has been said are from several different books, can i get a list by chance?
Sure you need the player's handbook obviously, then hexblade is in xanathars, and echo knight is in explorer's guide to wildemount. I'm not sure if that would include all the spells but it might If you don't want to buy the full books and happen to be using DnD beyond, you can buy individual pieces to save some money.
playing ichigo in dnd is really easy actually. pic any character that wields a sword and then give said character the personality of a piece of cardboard.

When you look at the Shinigami, Arrancar and the Quincy, they usually have an equivalent ability to each other. Only Arrancar don't have some kind of real spell craft.
Can you do mayuri kurutsuchi from bleach next? I love the mad scientist trope and mayuri does it so well.
I'm definitely going to make my way through a good chunk of bleach and Naruto and a few other anime, I just wish I had somebody to help edit my videos, so I could get them out quicker lol
@@dndbuilds I mean I'm willing to wait for content as awesome as this
@@dndbuilds would you consider trying to do the homonculi from full metal alchemist brotherhood? Mainly Pride.
Even if its far in the future I'd really love to see it
@@twobitwackjob I had been considering doing some Fullmetal alchemist builds, but I hadn't even thought about doing the homunculi, that's a great idea
gotta love that "Zonpok toe" in the caption xD
@@Takeshi--fi2zp yeah I definitely am not up to date with him yet so I appreciate avoiding the spoilers lol
interesting build
since halloween is coming id love to see a john carpenter thing build, the playable monster from carrion or alex mercer from prototype1 and 2 (all 3 are kinda similar)
I dont even play DnD but this is really well made and lit
Thanks!!! Glad you enjoyed it
@@dndbuilds oh I loved it I’m gonna watch more!
I’d like to see how you’d go about building Hei/BK-201 from Darker Than Black
I haven't watched darker than black yet but if be down to dive into it
Huh, now this is something I can get behind.
Thank u for this build, this makes a great character to play
I'm glad you like the content though I have plenty more to post so hopefully I can keep getting you to come back 😁
@@dndbuilds absolutely! Just subscribed and hit that bell! 😎
@@ThatRules well you're just awesome in my book then
This is just a cool build either way. I ever get to join a campaign I'm using thus as my outline that sounded like fum
That's what I love to hear!!!
Would be super dope to see you build Ghost Rider
We were just talking about that in my Discord, spit balling ideas about the best way to pull him off
@@dndbuilds Dope was thinking that maybe I do more Zarathos and less ghost rider with Fallen Aasimar and levels of Oathbreaker and levels of Fiend Warlock but that's just me
probably should have waited on this till the 1000 year blood war is over since he, well, you will have to see for yourself the manga was awesome, can't wait to see it animated!
I couldn't wait, especially since he'll probably wind up with more abilities, and there's only so far I can bring this build lol
I made a very Groot like character. The dm loved it bc it gave him a lot to work with 😂
Ichigo is also really strong, and smart.
However once you have the ability to have pact of the blade you can make a great sword in your automatically proficient with it
Perfect timing is the series just aired again with the thousand year blood war, nice
very cool, Guyver the bio booster armor next.
This is the strongest non crit, non stealth melee build I've seen
Randomly found this in my recommended list. Was actually really cool watch!
A few ideas that might be fun to try for you.
Dante from Devil May Cry (Although I feel like some of it would be similar to Ichigo)
Maple from I Don't Want To get Hurt So I Maxed Out My Defense (This character is absolutely broken)
Holo from Spice and Wolf (This one just cause the idea of a character able to shapeshift into a wolf and eat enemies lol)
I am going to be watching the new season on hulu and I am so hyped for it.
Unohana is a great build. i didn't worry about 1 to 1 translation myself, as i went more for the spirit of Unohana.
Unohana is a Battle Maniac. she learned healing to heal her opponents and herself and make the fights last longer. she fights with ONLY her sword. her whale summon exists to be a spell-casting sidekick that takes care of unimportant tasks during a fight. kinda like a Familiar, but you can also represent it's other features with other spells like Fly.
i went for;
Variant Human(Magic Initiate) [Booming Blade, Prestidigitation, Find Familiar]
Conquest Paladin 7 [she is shown throughout the series to be terrifying behind the scenes. we the audience only really get to see the face during her fight with Kenpachi)
Life Cleric 13 [self explanatory. but also, i only took the buffing, healing, and resurrecting spells. Regeneration is her Capstone spell and represents what i think her Bankai was supposed to be]
the challenge is to create a build that never has to directly combat, only support, but is also a terrifying combatant with a sword.
I’ve been loving the builds and would enjoy seeing your take on Escanor from seven deadly sins
I'd love to see how you handle a non-action character. I suggest the Traveler/Wayfarer from Journey.
that was such a beautiful game, I have made a few non-super combat heavy builds with Loki (being low combat) and Sonic the Hedgehog (being built purely for speed).
Oh that could have been a really fun path to take, and even going the noble background with it
love this PC of ichigo and his abilities i am also a Bleach fan
Really thought the patron was going to be the hollow that got trapped/ sealed inside him
That would have actually been a great idea!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a whole university sponsor someone.
Still not taking my ass back to school.
I have been torn with what to suggest next so I'll just do both:
Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty
Sephiroth from FF7
I actually did a Sephiroth build and I combined it with cloud, but I have actually been tempted to do Rick from Rick and Morty a couple times now, I think I'll probably wind up building him soon.
@@dndbuilds I guess I missed seeing the Cloud/Sephiroth build. I'll find it and watch it later.
Well i am gonna use that
I would love to see this build in a campaign somewhere since i'm not familiar with dnd lol
Nice video btw
love the build, love ichigo, it is all amazing, however only thing i want to point out is the defense fighting style only working while wearing armor, unless mage armor counts, all in all a great video :)
Also the improved pact weapon scales....its plus +3 by then lol and u can add the smite to more then 1 attack. Plus u can use the sword of disaster on normal swings lol
I thought that was just in UA for the scaling... and if you can use sword of disaster on normal swings that changes things in a few of my builds
@@dndbuilds plus there's a ua invocation called curse bringer it brings the dps hardcofe
I’m using this as my base for my Bladesinger/Hexblade now
That's awesome, but that is a little bit of a rough mix just because it requires both intelligence and charisma, but if you just so happen to be rolling for stats instead that could work out super well
That’s what happened. I only did it because since we rolled I got good stats. Melee hexsinger
Love it. Only real issue is its cannon that ichigo is very smart just not very aware/wise
That's a valid point he's actually a surprisingly good student, you could always sacrifice some constitution or dexterity for some intelligence, but it's your choice
This is my vibe!!
#idea Kenshin Himura from Rurouni Kenshin including his kinda split personality he has going on for a while XD
I've been wanting to do Kenshin for a little bit, he's a little more straightforward but that's not a bad thing, I think he can still be a pretty good build
@@dndbuilds and fun to RP as well
Ichigo has like 3 builds.
They are similar to demons, and so are hollows.)
holy fuck, that quincey-ichigo art is fuckin diabolical
Ichigo is prof at deception because he's always telling his loved ones he's fine when he isn't💔
Would spirit shroud still work with the damage calculation you made at the end? Since it triggers on every attack roll if I'm not mistaken.
You wouldn't be able to have spirit shroud at the same time as blade of disaster because they both require concentration.
Arcane Archer ideas. These are really cool.
I think seeing some characters from fairy tail would be nice.
When a spell requires a verbal component: GETSUGA TENSHOOOOOOO!!!
Alternatively: BAN-KAI!!!
Just for kicks, someone in my group must be a Bard or something, to get Unearthly Chorus, just to have On The Precipice of Defeat playing when entering combat.
I always love finding a full party willing to really focus on the theme lol
Have you ever considered HellBoy as a character in this series? I think that would be really cool ! (And also help me)
This is pretty good.
@@dndbuilds I noticed eldritch blast but because you added so late when its is pretty iconic to him, it felt wierd to me
Also I understand the concern but, like how you flavor the pact spells to be his anime powers, these spells would be no different.
Defense fighting style doesn't work as you aren't wearing armor. Maybe interception as Ichigo sometimes blocks hits meant for others.
Zaraki Kenpachi plz
You weren't joking about Ichigo being OP
how about kirito from sword ART online for some video in the future? he would probably just be fighter, but I'm curious to see what you would create.
I honestly can't see how a character this broken can be legal. Holy hell. You're pretty much 1-shotting anyone that isn't a boss character
If you want really broken check out my one punch man build lol I even forgot to include one can trip on the final calculations for that build, and it can literally one shot absolutely anything in Dungeons& Dragons
Now I actually want to play D&D..
Yeah I can see the hexblade....would a magus/cleric and a few feats do the job ?
I'd love to see how you tackle Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen!
I didn't know a warlock could be so cool in D&D and deal 330 damage by level 19
Warlocks are definitely super powerful, their only real downside is the limited amount of spell slots they have, although they do recharge on a short rest which does help with that a bit
Very good 😃
You can go back and forth with each class when you multiclass? I thought you were stuck with the second class and couldn’t level your original one anymore. I’m new and just learning.
Yup, you can swap as many times as you want
you should make Raziel and Kain from the Legacy Of Kain series
I have found my next build
I’d swap Eldritch Mind and/or Armor of Shadows for Devil’s Sight and/or Relentless Hex, tbh, it’s not like you’re really going to get hit or use concentration as make or break anyhow.
Eldrich blast as getsugatensiu
Nvm
Well you weren't wrong 😜
Cool. I've seen a bit of bleach, so this will be interesting. I'd be interested in a less combat oriented character to be made, maybe someone good at controlling the battlefield and other people, who has the option to go into battle if they really need to. I'm thinking Lelouch from Code Geass
I did wind up doing something kind of less combat focused with Loki, but I'd be down to do some Code Geass builds
@@dndbuilds Loki is definitely more of an illusionist than a Frontline fighter, I'll have to check that video out, I may have watched it before I just don't remember
Amazing build, this makes me wonder something, how would you build Yoh Asakura or another shaman from Shaman King?
That's a show I've never had the chance to watch actually, I'd have to do some digging first
@@dndbuilds really?
@@Real_Beyoga you had me really worried for a minute lol
To put it RAW.
Hex Warrior can only be applied to a weapon you are proficient in AND doesn't have the Two-Handed property, but it extends (automatically, you don't have to actively do this) to any weapon conjured through Pact of the Blade regardless of its properties.
This build have me a great, my dm reads it as bad, idea in their one shot... everyone starts at 15. Im going to have a little to much fun. Dm rolled my stats with 2 20s, and 2 19s.
Oh that's going to be dangerous but awesome!!!
@@dndbuilds the real problem though, its an aasimar
You should totally do Aizen next-
Haven't watched yet but I'm thinking a barbarian. That way you can have a heavy weapon while being unarmoured. Maybe even a zealot barbarian as Ichigo often refuses to die. Could maybe did warlock for a few other powers.
Do one for kenpachi next
I made a 3.5/pf1e version of white once, yours would beat it.
just curious but will you do this with the Espadas or even Quincys?
I wonder if you’ll do another One peace
Definitely will, Zoro's had tons of requests so he's on his way
Funny part is this doesn't even take into account any magic weapons you may get, so this can get even more insane. XD
Please do Kempachi from Bleach next. A.K.A. Mr. Broken Game Mechanics.
8:07 armor of shadows covers his vein blute quincy ability..
I'm not sure if that would include all the spells but it might
If you don't want to buy the full books and happen to be using DnD beyond, you can buy individual pieces to save some money.
playing ichigo in dnd is really easy actually.
pic any character that wields a sword and then give said character the personality of a piece of cardboard.
