It’s a great farm to visit.
I love john deere combines wheat Harvest
Thank you watching.
Your videos are tranquil, enjoyable, and educational. I am very glad for your great channel.
Thank you for the compliment and for watching. The videos are fun to make.
Great video !! Always enjoy seeing Billy behind the wheel.
Billy is always great to talk with.
Farmers God Bless them they work so long and hard to feed us
😁👍👍
Love the money shot overhead...
It’s a nice view to catch in the field.
Always enjoy Jason when you're filming Garnett Farms. That new Fendt looks good with Billy behind the wheel. I'm sure they will be getting the new 9R series soon as well? Appreciate your time Jason.
Yes the 9R and 9RX tractors are traded each June. Watch for 9R 440 and 9RX 640 tractors at wheat harvest. There will be an MT 1167 Fendt soon.
@@bigtractorpower I like the fendt 1167 it debuted on Farming Simulator 22 not only my virtual farmer I have a friend of mine who has two thousand acres here in Missouri that I help him with he likes the red paint
Great - enjoy all of your videos, thks for keeping us updated with the new equipment & technology
It’s fun filming these machines to share.
That last pass at the end of the video was really satisfying! That was cool to see those big tractors and the work their are doing
I always like to catch those cross cross passes. Thank you for watching.

Excellent job

Love the channel. Curious how they get that much smoke behind the toolbars when raising them on the ends? Clouds that big would be dangerous to one’s health. At current price, dangerous to one’s pocketbook as well.
I don’t think it’s that much loss. It’s allot of steam as it lifts. I have filmed this farms NH3 application for 20 years. The steam is about the same every year on the turns. I always watch which way the wind is blowing to be on the right side of a turn.
@@bigtractorpower having been around anhydrous for a long time, I know the potential effects of it. It’s a product that definitely deserves respect.
@@kurtkriener3583 Yep, it causes chemical burns by sucking the water out of your body, that would probably hurt like hell!
Typical loss bro, thats nothing... Farmed in the 70's-90's, side dressed this on an open station tractor for years, you just hold your breath... LOL...
Will there be a subsidy discount for buying a Fendt 1167 Vario MT in the United States, and how much does it cost to buy it? 👍👍😃
Glorious video thank you, also a big thanks to the gentleman letting you film .
Thank you for watching.
Always a pleasure watching these men at work 💪
Thank you for watching.
If the boss is right about the fuel consumption, there is little doubt about what tractor will be in the farm's future.
That was great hearing the farmers opinions. I wonder what the fuel consumption is between the Fendt and JD
The JD is about 20 gal an hour and the Fendt 8 gal an hour.
I always like watching when you are on there farms
It’s a nice farm to visit. Great people.
Field work there always seems to be 3-4 weeks ahead of us here in the Buckeye state. Great video, as always, Jason!
It’s amazing what a few hours of longitude and latitude do for the climate. They began planting corn in Texas in February. We are just starting to fire up towards corn planting. I grew up in Western New York and went to college in Western, PA 4 hours away. I would leave college in the spring and go home. In PA they were planting corn and it was greening up and I would get home and it was still brown and cold.
Cool to see fieldwork starting again😉👍 nice video Jason👍😁
It has been a nice week. Lots of farms rolling in the field today.
Lot of money going in the ground there. NH3 is around $1550 a ton here.
It is always a big investment in the crop definitely extra big in 2022.
Man Billy looks well after writing the cheque for all the fert he needs
😁👍👍
Hi BTP, nice to see Billy treated himself to the Fendt.
The Fendt Vario is a nice upgrade from the MT875E. The farm will be out in the field with an 1167 MT soon with the 120 inch track spacing and a 3 pt hitch.
@@bigtractorpower look forward to seeing that.
I wonder how much they invest in getting the field ready.. it has to be alot
Thanks Jason. Great content on this one!!
Thank you for watching.
Hope they have a great crop
It’s always a guessing game on the year until the combines are done with the harvest.
Was this video taken this week sometime? Great video
Lots of NH3 rolling in WKY right now. A few started mid February.
Big Stuff.....!!!!!!
👍👍
Amazimg work1👍👍👍👍❤❤👉🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Thank you.
Dont stop I love and appreciate the channel
Thank you for watching.
The quads are running 6.5 and the fendt is going 8.5, was that just because of the temperature difference or does the fendt have that much more power?
Billy has a lead foot 😁. His speed is wide open. The CVT transmission makes the Fendt very nice to operate.
Yeah the are a pretty nice unit
I'd like to see how it does with the big wishek disc
1167 on the 862NT this fall 😁👍
Great machinery & video, excellent to see, nice work!!
Thank you for watching. Looking forward to getting back in the field for Plant22.
Another great video BigTractorPower!
Thank you for watching.
Enjoyable video 👍
Thank you for watching.
whats with the shaft poking out so far on the larger back wheel on the fednt?
Do they disk or run anything between anhydrous and planting ?
Yes they run 50ft harrows. I will show those in the corn planting video in a few weeks.
I like how you do your videos making it very informative
Thank you for watching. These videos are fun to film.
@@bigtractorpower agree what is more fun than to film big equipment just love it
Fun fact when they turn around and see all the smoke, with today's prices that is about $80, lol
Boy we are way behind in Minnesota lol
Latitude and longitude does allot for soil temps. Things are off to an early star this year. We may see corn going in by mid month.
@@bigtractorpower I know that but gotta giver hell
Jason, are they running 30" tracks on 2 of the 9620RX's, and 36" on the 3rd 9620RX? I know Billy said he is running the 30" tracks on the Fendt.
Do they have Three 9RX640's coming in June? Courious if they will run 30" or 36" tracks on the 9RX640's, if they have some coming?
Yes that is correct. They will go to 9RX 640s in June. I am not sure what size tracks they will run on those. They have an Fendt 1167 in the field soon. It is spaced wide.
Great video!! I loved it!! I'm just wondering, where is the Fendt tractor made? What country?
The tracked fendt tractors are made in Jackson MN
It is built in Jackson, MN. AGCO based in Duluth, GA has owned Fendt since 1998.
So dry :o over here in east germany we need a Boat to enter our fields at the moment =/
Sorry to hear it is so wet. This field has some wet spots near the woods on it back boundary.
What are the monitors for in the cab of the fendt?
I assume they aren't running new tractors like they do every year due to all the trouble the last year or so and the lack of available machines? That Fendt is sharp! I know I must have asked this before, but why doesn't he run a JD 9RT?
They are going to 9RX 640 tractors and have a new MT 1167 ready to roll now. They roll the 9Rs and 9RXs over in June and 8R and 7Rs in August.
@@bigtractorpower I always thought they rolled them over earlier in the year.
Just curious ( NOT criticizing ) why Billie always has a Challenger or now Fendt for himself and everything else on farm ( pretty much ) is all Deere ? 🤷♂️
That is a good question. I will have to ask Billy about it on a future ride along. I can tell you Billy looks at machinery carefully and enjoys looking at its advantages. I have been filming at this farm for 22 years. In 2000 Billy was running a Ford 1156 4wd the farm bought new in 1990. In 2001 the 1156 was traded for a Case IH STX450 QUADTRAC. This was the farms first tracked tractor. In 2004 the farm traded to a Deere 9620T. The 9620T was not smooth riding so they traded to a Challenger MT865B in 2006. The main reason at the time for the early tracked tractors outside of the John Deere line up was to work a 1,200 acre field that is often wet. Billy has liked the MT design for power, ride and ease of access from the ground. In the 1970’s this farm was all Allis-Chalmers. They switched to John Deere in the mid 80’s. They were orange because of hood dealer support and went green for continued good service after AC closed.
Why is it these guys get started so early when they're not that far South?
When wil begin the corn planting in tha area in KY ? Greetings from Brazil !
They will start weather permitting by the middle of March
Thank you for watching. If the weather stays warm mid March will see corn planting start. If it gets wet it could go into the first week of April.
At 00:15 seconds it looks like one of the ammonia injector lines came off.
If one of the lines came off it would be a big could of steam very quickly. It looks like one of the shanks snagged some debris and is dragging it.
@@bigtractorpower ah I see that now
Has Frank got him one of the 9620rx
I think Frank stays on the sprayer team with Matt. They are spraying wheat right now and then have burn down on the corn ground.
Can you explain why their are white clouds are being created? Is that steam?
It is steam. The anhydrous is extremely cold in the tank and when released it appears as steam.
Hello my friends my name is Edimar uf São paulo city guararapes
👋
What I see is money, an incredible amount of it. The tech is awesome but like my father would say "I like everything about it but the monthly payments." How many acres do they need to afford this equipment?
This farm crops 33,000 acres. They maximize there equipment to cover the most acres possible. The farm has 3 generations involved on a daily basis and has well over 100 years invested.
Why not use biochar? It is more sustainable and save money.
✌️✌️✌️
Thank you for watching.
When was this filmed?
Farms started up on NH3 in WKY mid February. A bunch are rolling this week.
@@bigtractorpower Wow, that’s really cool!
Any idea what anhydrous is running price wise this year, just curious since anhydrous is not an option my way.
I live in Iowa and it was $1500/ton last fall.
@@myronparks3495 ok and what is the typical rate for anhydrous
@@JD-oh9vz I really don't know. I'm not a farmer. All I know is that when the commodity prices go up your inputs go up as well.
Heard guys paid $1,525 a ton, yesterday, northeast Iowa.
@@kurtkriener3583 that doesn't surprise me.
We’re those two guys the owners??
Billy in the Fendt is the owner along with his family. Billy Jo in the 9RX is a long time employee of the farm.
@@bigtractorpower how was that fendt compared to Deere??….it looks like it pulled thru the mud good
@@gregsmithets3659 Fendt is a Premium Germany tractor !
So as just a small farmer up in Maine who farms a couple hundred acres. I just don’t see how they can afford such equipment. 5 dollars a gallon diesel. 1200 a ton fertilizer. Let’s go Brandon
EXACTLY!!!!
Got to farm a lot of acres .
@@toledojeeper2932 I understand that but if I farm 100 acres and spend 50 grand on a tractor or they farm 1000 acres but spend 500k or 750k. Maybe we are both struggling. Farmers feed the world then fight for the scraps left over.
@@ram_diesel_power6039 ...We farm 2000 acres and use 4 tractors and 1 combine . The thing about JD tractors is they hold their values as long as you take care of it .
@@toledojeeper2932 that’s all i have is John Deere. I just buy used tractors. I’m a fan of 30 40 50 55 series tractors. We don’t sell them either I just keep fixing them up.
You can't really "apply anhydrous". The word "anhydrous" is an adjective meaning void of water. What they are applying is ammonia for its nitrogen content. But the agriculture world here in the U. S. has had this terminology screwed up for many years...........
😂😂😂
Jason I thought Billy (I think that’s his name) was gonna get a 1167 what gives
Apparently there's a mt1167 ready to go to work aswell
Yes it is widened out with a 3pt. It should be in the field soon. The 9620RXs will be traded in June for 9RX 640s.

Is this 2022 or 2021?
Spring has spring here. Some farms started on NH3 in mid February most are running wide open this weekend.
@@bigtractorpower Looking forward to this years farming.
How did you hold your breathe long enough to do that.
I have been filming this operation for 20 years. I always stay with the wind so any gas is blowing away from me.
A lot of leeching
It’s part of it in this soil. They had 250 bu corn last year so it still works.
Hey there "Jason" I hope you're well and good!
I just realized that i owe you an apology Jason, because I've been calling you David, which somehow got changed in my phone, and my brain, but I am truly sorry, and I wish you would've corrected me.
