We run a case 580 quadtrac with a johndeere 2730 22 foot 11 shank combination ripper. We hope to be able to get back to ripping some new ground that we purchased in late March. The land is 80 acres of crp . We need to RIP it and till the grass under so we can plant soybeans. We found that the 2730 works better than a chisel plow plus leaves a smooth finish with its rolling baskets . We have shanks with wings on them to help lift and throw the soil around to fracture the compaction . We run between 8 and 10 inches deep and we can raise the disks and rolling baskets to use it like a chisel plow if needed . Nice video keep up the good work and stay safe !
Love seeing the green machines getting a good start at 2021 field work. Have they done a side by side comparison with the track John Deere and the tire one`s pulling the same implement, same depth in the same field conditions ? (Just asking )
Hi Jason, brilliant video the tractors we had on the farm I once worked wouldn't have been able to pull those John Deere rippers in transportation mode from one field to the other, I was thinking in a few year's time one of those Goliath's for your collection. Stay safe . Kind regards Kevin Fox,England Essex
Thank you for watching. These 9RX tractors are impressive. Their maybe too many electronics in them to make them collectors items some day. Time will tell.
Hi Jason, I hope all is well with yourself and the family only we haven't heard from you or are you isolating because of the covid situation. Just out of interest I've watch the new case I H baler very impressive, God Bless stay safe. Kevin Fox,England
Nothing like seeing convoy machines on the road I want get ours on vid when we're moving out to start a new potatoe patch. We have 2 Tractors and ploughs 1 bed former 4 rototillers 4 destoners 2 6 Row planters a handler and a lorrffy with the spuds to plant on.
Best part of it: the vegans think their corn comes from cruelty-free soil 😆 Goodbye varmint dens! Hello soil fertility. This is awesome. Makes my SC tractor blush with envy. I can rip a few feet wide and a foot down lol
I just have a question towards the end of the video the man shared a bolt off on the ripper he put a new bolt in but I didn’t see him put a note on it so that means the Bolt can vibrate out just food for thought
Not much you can do about it. Mankind can work well with or alongside Mother Nature, but they have no control over her whatsoever. The only one who has authority over her is the Heavenly Father.
It kind of sounded like towards the end of the video that thing was going through a lot of rocky spots on the ground there I’m going to assume that going over those Rocky spot spot even though they lift up still cause a little bit more where to it
Rocks are common here. They are lime rocks and you find pockets of them in a field. If they are not too bad they lift up a bit and scratch through the area and then drop back down deep. It it is extra rocking they just skip that spot and no till over it.
Interesting to see the old US mailbox at the start, it is the same as you would have seen in the 1930's! I wonder has the design changed at all? Perhaps the modern one sends an alert to your phone!
All these tillage videos are so great. The 470 was running with one of the middle shanks tripped for quite a ways. Did you signal him to let him know or did he catch it himself?
There are several pivots here. One field I film in here is 3,000 acres and it has 5 pivots on it. I have filmed some pivots. I will try to work one in a video.
I don’t have all the Case IH tractors filmed from that time period. Hopefully some day I will. I do have a video covering red tractor development from 1939 to 2019 ruclips.net/video/QlP2so1LYSE/видео.html

I'm pretty sure it was just the interior in the 8rx. But probably other tractors to
Thanks for showing the whole process!
It’s to see a field go from start to finish. 😁👍

@3:35 where is the loud “ticking” sound coming from? Exhaust leak or drive line issue?
John Deere 🤣
Good job
Thank you for watching.
Great vid, Jason. Those big Deere are pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing!

in your opinion which is the better of the two John Deere RX 9620 or quadtrac 620?
Now that was fun, gettin on the field, rolling down, making turns, rolling up, gettin off the field, excellent
😁👍👍
So that 9470 must be running at full capacity, while the 9620 is taking it easy? Wouldent the 9620 be better off with a 11 or 13 shank ripper? :)
This farm has an 8RX 370 that is used to pull the 2100 too. It just depends on what tractor is picked for which job.
@@bigtractorpower Oh, those rippers must not require that much power then? :)
Awesome two big beautys
😁👍👍

What type of tillage will they do next? I am sure they will not plant over that without another pass of something?
They will apply NH3 and then run a chain harrow to smooth the surface ridges. It’s heavy till/no till.
Great video!!
Thank you for watching.

Awsome video BTP. It was kinda foggy when you filmed this one 👍🚜
It was 7 am. Lots of Winter fog. It cleared off after an hour.

Hey jayson Love Bryan at Oatts farms my dad works for him he loves it when you come ride
Will be tiling tomorrow with the 9rx
Great video. Is there any reason the smaller tractor is on a narrower set of tracks? Thanks
wow 😍😍
Another top video! Did he just leave the sheared bolt in the field? Isn't there a chance the combine will pick it up or is it my OCD kicking in?
Farms here typically knock the bolt out like that and leave it. There is no chance it will hurt the combine in corn.
Man it can't get better than this good job 👍👍👍😀😄👍
Very cool Jason. Tillage videos are my just about my favorite. Keep'em coming!! GO BTP💪💪
Tillage is s cool time of year.
Great Channel, Thanks Jason
Thank you for watching.
This is badass and powerfull tractor :)

There are more modern ones maid by Rubber Maid but as far as I know there are non with an app yet.
@@bigtractorpower Hey - we might be on to something there then!

He caught it on the turn. I waved to him and pointed to it.
@@bigtractorpower Good man. :-)
6:04, it happens to the best of us 😅
What happens at 6:04? I must have missed it????
@@bigtractorpower replacing the broken shear bolt on the middle shank
Oh that is at 5:44. The ground here is fairly rocky so they go through a few bolts a day.
that was great i could almost smell it
Thank you for watching.
That looks like a lot of fun
😁👍

Jason,I've noticed there are no center pivot irrigation in western Kentucky. Is that river bottom land.
There are several pivots here. One field I film in here is 3,000 acres and it has 5 pivots on it. I have filmed some pivots. I will try to work one in a video.

😁👍👍
Love those behemoths
😁👍👍
Tillage time is always nice😁👍
😁👍👍
Since it's turning the sod over I'm guessing it's more for deep airation?
This is for lifting and fracturing the soil while leaving the surface mostly I disturbed.
Nice would like one or 2 of them.
$25 a week for the rest of your life
Would be awesome if you could someday compile a video of Case IH Tractors from the year 2000 to 2005.
Can't, now of them are left
I don’t have all the Case IH tractors filmed from that time period. Hopefully some day I will. I do have a video covering red tractor development from 1939 to 2019 ruclips.net/video/QlP2so1LYSE/видео.html
As always top notch video from the best keep them coming in
What's the next step in their tillage before the corn crop?
They will apply NH3 and then pull a chain harrow across the field to smooth out the surface and plant corn.
@@bigtractorpower Thanks for the info!!!! Get us video if u can....
Awesome Video Buddy!!
😁👍👍
as for the year in the same field, how about this one
It could be a good candidate.
Has this been taken in the last few weeks curious
Itu rantai traktor nya itu terbuat dari bahan apa kok jalannya tidak rusak
Nice vid
Thank You, what great video for a snowday, love that green iron and your great videography real pro!!

It seems completely overpowered for what it is pulling.....
Not in this red clay soil at 6.5 mph.
Looks hazy
This was filmed at 7:00 am. Lots of winter fog.
