Hey Alan, I'm going to start collecting Vinyls soon, my auntie has an old vinyl player that she doesn't want anymore. I'm looking forward to grabbing it. The custom by Richard looks really good, talented bloke there. I was really looking forward to Knock in the Cabin but felt quite disappointed by it unfortunately. I can't believe we've had 34 marvel movies and we've still got so many to go, wow. I'll definitely check out RIPD2, really enjoyed the first one. I really enjoyed Creed 3, will be picking that up soon.
Cheers Alan , another Marvel release with no slipcover, so another no purchase for me, I'm saving £15 each film of this phase , the films aren't much good anyway, I have from Iron Man to Endgame all lined up in slipcovers, so that's me done with them.
Hi Laura, yeah the good old days when they were in the standard size cases with slipcovers……I bet they look really good all lined up together….they do (I believe release them further down the line with a slip but they’re now in slimmer cases so will look somewhat different and as you mentioned, the movies just aren’t as good as they were before Endgame), cheers Laura, take care 👍😃👍

Hey Alan, RIPD 2 looks okay, I didn't know it existed but I like Jeffrey Donavan from Burn Notice. Creed III is decent and I enjoyed it quite a lot. Tessa Thompson is fine lol
When Creed III was good, it was good when it was bad it was Rocky V bad 😂 I thought it was just okay when I watched it, and I plonked the money down for the premium rental time.

Quiet week for me. Picked up Creed 3 and Knock at the cabin. You’ll have to let me know your thoughts on the new Ant man film. I stopped buying all the Marvel films after the Infinity War films. I did enjoy the second Dr Strange but the others have felt below the standard I was used to from them. I’ll pick it up if you think it’s worthwhile. I think it’s a quiet one for me next week too. Only ordered a film called Close for next week. I watched it at last years LFF and loved it. Looking forward to your thoughts on the Imprint sets mate. Nice one 👍
Hi mate, I loved the first two AntMan movies and this was very different indeed, more like a Star Wars film (but not a good one) if you have left the recent films out of you collection then I would recommend not investing in this, unless you wait for the price to drop dramatically. Looking forward to Restart the Earth too... looks like fun (and has an English dub for when I'm turning my brain off). They're really taking over from Zavvi with the steelbook exclusives, announcing Avatar: The Way of Water exclusive steelbooks in 4K and 3D today (shame there isn't a single steelbook with the 4K, 3D and BD in but I suppose they want profit like everyone does). RIPD 2 I picked up last week so interested in how it compares to the first... I personally thought the first was a bit average so we may disagree on this and I may prefer this one. My (HUGE) Steelbook haul Pt 1 is out tomorrow BTW, I totally miscalculated how long it would be and should have aimed to split into 4 not 2... Part 2 will definitely be Pts 2 and 3 though to make them more manageable...

I read a story today that Kang wasn't even going to be the 'big bad' for this era of the MCU but he was so good in Ant-Man and Loki S2 that they changed their plans. I guess we'll wait and see what happens going forward. 🤷♂

Any HMV store is better than no store in my opinion, i"m just concerned in how HMV are going with this new look store of different items etc, "Creed 3" already released, one on the wanted list, its okay & entertaining but not a classic, but Michael B Jordan has come a long way since appearing on "The Wire" in his early teens & its nicely directed from me. @@kermitsghost thanks Pre-orders went up yesterday (May 22) for Avatar, the way of water UK 3-D Blu-ray/2-D. Blu-ray combo pack is a thing and it’s happening. I’m glad Melanie has been enjoying herself, sometimes the quiet is just awesome. Especially if you are doing it to rebalance yourself, so you don’t lose your shit at everybody or to stop the feeling from treading on eggshells.

@@kermitsghost just because you find your wife’s borderlines taxing, doesn’t mean that you love her any less, if anything tells me, you just love it more because she has this condition you wish she didn’t have because when she’s good she’s good and everything is fine, when things are shit it’s shit. i’ve always viewed borderline. Alan is a switch in one’s head, you and I both know it’s not easy. I think I make it look easy though if I’m honest, the ironic thing is is that I’m still bound by basic fundamentals, the borderline being an arsehole. I’m glad she’s a lot happier, at least she knows when she’s about to lose her shit with people, intentionally and/or otherwise. It’s good when you can mind your surroundings, especially when you find your surroundings in that moment overwhelming. Between the two of you, you seem to have it down, which I guess has been the success of your relationship (I would assume). Kudos to you both like.

Tbh the marvel slipcovers usually come out later that the releases i know Shang Chi, Black Widow and the Eternals just got some recently

Any HMV store is better than no store in my opinion, i"m just concerned in how HMV are going with this new look store of different items etc, "Creed 3" already released, one on the wanted list, its okay & entertaining but not a classic, but Michael B Jordan has come a long way since appearing on "The Wire" in his early teens & its nicely directed from me.

@@Eva_H yes, I saw LJ’s post on Instagram about the 3D release (he’s so happy, as am I 😁) she sounds so much more relaxed on the phone, she was definitely on edge before leaving last week so it has certainly helped (both of us if I’m honest) 👍
@@kermitsghost just because you find your wife’s borderlines taxing, doesn’t mean that you love her any less, if anything tells me, you just love it more because she has this condition you wish she didn’t have because when she’s good she’s good and everything is fine, when things are shit it’s shit.
i’ve always viewed borderline. Alan is a switch in one’s head, you and I both know it’s not easy.
I think I make it look easy though if I’m honest, the ironic thing is is that I’m still bound by basic fundamentals, the borderline being an arsehole.
I’m glad she’s a lot happier, at least she knows when she’s about to lose her shit with people, intentionally and/or otherwise.
It’s good when you can mind your surroundings, especially when you find your surroundings in that moment overwhelming.
