Theory, MoominValley is actually Heaven, and the Moomin's are angels, and the people who pass through Moominvalley, are actually between life and death itself, like, for example, Snufkin, he travels away for the winter, and comes back in spring, but what if it's all just not real? and Snufkin is either A. very sick that he's dying, or B. he's trying to commit suicide, (I'm not sure the second one is it, since Snufkin is the one who voluntarily leaves MoominValley, which means he probably wants to live) but either way, something is causing Snufkin to almost die or be on the verge of death, Moomin is an angel who saw Snufkin's distress and wanted to help him, but he falls in love with Snufkin, and wants him to stay, he tries to convince Snufkin to stay every time he comes back to MoominValley, (let's assume, that Snufkin's sickness gets worse in Spring through Summer, so that he's almost always on the verge of death then, but not actually dead yet), but Snufkin always declines, because he wants to live and be free, and Moomin know's that he can't stop him. My other part of the theory is, that Little My and Snufkin lived in ''the normal world'' and Little My passed away, Snufkin, being so hurt, about his older, half-sister's death, he get's depressed and tries to see her again, maybe her death was around the Spring time, so he tries to see her every year around that time, again, Moomin falls in love, and wants Snufkin to stay, saying that he'd be happy there, since Little My was there, and he was too, but for some reason, Snufkin always declines Moomin's offer (maybe their ''real world'' parent's would be distraught or he misses someone from the real world when in MoominValley?) we'll never truly know that, but people who do pass through MoominValley are dying, and the Moomin's are trying to help them find their way and guide them back to a safe path, since Little My actually stays with the Moomin's and doesn't leave or pass through like Snufkin, it's probably she's most likely dead. I think the Hattifatteners are a representation of time or something spiritual, like, they travel and pass through, they give off a very spiritual vibe, but I'm not 100% sure on what they represent yet (the theory isn't 100% developed, just thoughts and ideas really) I also think the Groke is actually death itself, passing through and freezing everything, maybe keeping people in place? so they can't leave and they actually die? it's not certain, and they are just little theories I made up from the spot, from the idea you just gave me, it's not really true obviously, it's just a fun theory, and who's to say it isn't true? we'll never know, but that's just a theory, a game theory.

To a Moomintroll, one can find happiness in the things that could be familiar to anyone, yet to a Snufkin, happiness can be found in anything and anyone, so long as you let yourself discover it. What a funny thing that is: a curiosity-driven creature who strives for his individuality to stay in tact, finds himself torn between his desire for freedom and his pursuit of love for his friend, whom of which remains uncertain, for he has far too much love for the other. (Though, perhaps that isn't a bad thing.) A nomad so... unpredictable. A Moomintroll so VERY predictable. And a burning passion that is watered down as to not set the other's forest ablaze. Every moment, each one more precious than the last, so carefully knitted into a 5 minute video, and to just happen to come across it, for one to be lead here by fate, is nothing short of a miracle. To be alive and well to feel the love and yearning through a screen, to be put to sleep by the spell spilling out from this gorgeous video. It is everything I want. It is everything I need.
