Yes, more 한자 like this. It takes the monotony out of memorization. It's much easier to learn and remember words if you understand their components.
Some Korean language learners *really* underestimate the importance of learning Hanja. Yes, Hanja isn't used much these days but understanding the etymology gets you out of the habit of finding English-equivalent words and paints a much fuller picture of the word's actual intended meaning. I feel like I've googled this question about 10 times now, so this video was super helpful! I've also seen 유용하다 to be useful and 소용 mainly in 소용 없다 meaning "its no use"
유용하다 is a very 'useful' verb to know haha

I literally just googled 사용하다 vs 이용하다 like 2 days ago. This was very helpful and timely!
Correction: the hanja for 사용하다 is 使用하다 and 使 means "to employ". You might've confused it with the hanja 私, which means "personal", but it's not the right hanja.
There are two 사용하다, so I was just combining those into one meaning since I only wrote it with Hangul. I wasn't trying to teach the Hanja for 사 (fortunately).

i've seen 용 in 일회용 as in "desposible" (literally "once usage" or something)
i'm also guessing 사 in 사용 is the one in 사적인 (private/personal)
1:16 I think you decypher 사용 to hanja as "私_personal/private사사롭다 用_use쓰다", however, it is commonly written in hanja as "使_handle/manage부리다 用_use쓰다".
私用 can be used mostly in written Korean and it means: "use public things as privately."
Since there are 2 사용, I was just combining all of their possible uses into one word as it's only written in Hangul.

100% need videos like this the advanced group of learners either talk irl which can be difficult for some or we get these kind of videos. Words that associate with 한자 characters. I love to learn related words because it brings so much insight to why the words are different and also why someone would use a word over another when they have very similar meanings. Thanks!!

전용이라는 단어는 用자 앞에 붙는 한자에 따라서 뜻이 바뀝니다. 같은 한자를 쓰더라도 뜻이 여러가지인 경우도 있죠.

What would be an example of using "use" not for a specific purpose? And which Korean word would you use in that sentence?
You can just use 쓰다 whenever you're trying to say "to use" for anything you'd like in general.
I have a question actually it was stuck in my mind for a very long time so plz help me out

Actually i do have three more grammar books that are : korean grammar in use beginner , intermediate and advanced. So do i need more books?
Hi, from what I have been told Billy's books will take u to intermediate, and that's only if u are practicing everything that is being taught, then you would need to switch to some other resources!! I heard good things about grammar in use so u can use them after Billy's book
