I mean, I ended up spending 1250 a ticket for Atlanta to be lower bowl, but I could've gotten by for 800 a ticket if I was winning to be upper bowl. Those big prices are honestly silly, and I wouldn't do it again; however, why not spend the money on what makes you happy and support the team that makes your day to day life better.

Sections 118-135 are between 650-700$ on stubhub. So if the average tickets are almost 1200$, that means the club seats and up are pushing the price. So rich people are making the price of these tickets outrageous.

i mean, that’s literally how averages work lol. but i disagree that there are outrageous prices on the upper extreme driving it up. Hypothetically, if there were only two tickets, and one was 700, the other ticket would only need to be 1700 to make a 1200 average.

This is the difference between the fans and the owners. The fans see history whereas the owners see profit. It's gross. Then again, the SuperBowl is basically a rich circle-jerk year after year, so this shouldnt be suprising either.
No these aren't prices from the owners, these are resale prices. Regular season was sold out, the season ticket holders get first dibs on post season, and they are taking them and reselling for profit. I know a 100 level ticket for wild card for a season ticket holder was like $250, but they resold for over $500.
Supply and demand. They will charge as much as people are willing to pay

Texans fan here. I got tickets to the Ravens game in the 100’s for $212. I get that for the Lions it’s is a once in a lifetime deal but that’s a lot of bread for that game!

Playoff tickets to any sporting event will always be a luxury. I don’t think there price was anything that crazy for season ticket holders, but the resale became wild.

The ups and downs of ticket sales over the years, there are real fans in those seats. There are not a lot that want to miss it, it is likely the last game of the playoffs, though there probably a 10-20% chance they host the championship game if the Packers are real and Tampa is Tampa.
