And remember how HARD that last row was to do, keeping them all together so that you could do that final tie off? Sooo hard but it definitely taught perseverance!
While time consuming, it’s the perfect project on a rainy day when you want to craft but not sure what to make. While watching a movie curled up on the couch.
What a trooper you are, I do not have the patience because of numbness in my finger tips. Not fun. Ty for all the inspiration and beautiful designs with weaving.
I cheated and created a file in Cricut Design Space to do all the cutting for me. Though I will cut strips by hand from scraps too. I have a feeling I’m going to be obsessed with these woven cards for a bit!
I tend toward the quick and easy. Not that many people would appreciate the effort. I like the diagonal ones best. With the half inch, it seems like you see more of the colorful paper.❤
OMG Maymay WHOA. Definitely GORGEOUSLY done but I beWEAVE it took a WHEELy long time to create even tho you didn’t use your wheel!!!!! Kiddo no matter what you create it is always a delight to watch you in creative action and an awe inspiring feeling when I get to see your completed project!! Thanks for always going that extra mile to share it all and always being honest about all that goes into it and giving us the Ol’ pep talk to cheer us on!! thanks for your Outstanding Tutorial and sharing your Tremendously Terrific Tips, Tricks & Techniques!!! YOU SO ROCK!!!! GIRL you never cease to amaze……and always. ALWAYS make my day!! U SO ROCK!!!! Joan Smith
I really appreciate your hard work to show us 1/4-inch strips, thank you ❤️ I could see myself arguing with these strips for a couple days and making a half dozen of the cards, but boy and howdy, they'd be for people I really love and want to smile!!! Wheeee!! 😁
I have a question for anyone who sees this. I was in an antique store this weekend. I found an original collection of parts of 5 books written by James Fenimore Cooper from 1874. The pages I have are in good condition considering how old they are. They have a lot of art in them. As a junk journalist, would you put these pages in a journal? What would you do? To me, the 35 pages I have are precious. Please give me your opinion. Can't seem to catch you, Maymay, when you're live.
Hi Maymay thank you for showing I think if you what from the bott up it will work better that is how I did it when I was a liter girl and that was 57 years ago and the paper was different back then you know the keen you get when you where in school paper and I hope the open house went well for you all today. So have a good day.
My mind went straight back to being a child and making the loop potholders! Love it!

Watching you work reminded me of the weaving classes I took as a child--and why professional weavers use looms.
you have a lot of patience. it does look beautiful
So pretty. 😊

It’s pretty but I would do the half inch instead also 🎉😊
I used a wooden skewer. Made my strips longer and glued one end to the skewer then weaved.
Thank you Maymay. They do look amazing and worth the effort ❤️

Thank you for the video
I have not done this yet, but I think I might do this for a sympathy card.
Beautiful ❤. Thank you so much!

If woven is ever a parameter on Craft Roulette, I’m putting this in my back pocket…
Please don’t tell Mary! Lol
I remember doing these also baskets and stocking for the children when I worked at the schools. TFS😊

Thanks for showing this. I have done a couple of the 1/2", I don't know if I will try the 1/4". I have trouble with my hands. BUT it is beautiful.

Very pretty I don’t have patience
Yeah, I am first to watch and innie the video.
❤
Could you do the cutting on a cricut?
The splint at 8:18…could you put one above and below splint at the same time
Reset for next and put above then below the one you did before???
That looks pretty, but, really, not any prettier than the half inch ones…and so much more work. Great job and thanks for sharing.
