Cynthia's got a big lovely smile. I hope she gets in better shape, she'll feel better and be better, and my guess is that smile will just carry over to everywhere else too.
The way that Geffen Foundation spokesperson was hyping up Cynthia (41:30) is hilarious. They all saw her ego a mile away and massaged it until money came out

That’s awesome, you are very fortunate! I don’t believe that the government should be entitled to nearly half of a person’s winnings but the American government thinks differently. In America, the government milks us for everything they can get, which has depleted the middle class essentially. Even a trip to the grocery store, in my state, ends with not just 1 sales tax but multiple.
Lanre asked Cynthia for a Bugatti for his wedding present. Not a Benz. Not a bmw. Not an Audi. But the most expensive car you can buy. And I’m sure he wanted it in his name. That way when they break up, he would sell it and pocket the $1 million+

@@susiesmith7694usually entering the lottery is first step, visualise your win, write a cheque as a visual reminder and thinking positively towards your win..
Wait... Jason won 23 million and received 4 million after taxes then split that in half with a coworker = 2 million. Then equally split that 1 million with wife for 1 million each? That is insance.
He won $23m. Gave his coworker a third of the $23m, his wife a third and he was left with a third which after taxes ended up to $4mils. In short, the 3 of them ended up with $4m each after taxes
The family with the surrogate story was so damn fake it made my eyes roll. The whole “we won the lottery twice” and how he was singing songs about his daughter like their entire lives revolved around her felt so exaggerated.
Some of these people felt like paid actors if it wasn't for Cynthia and i had already seen all her stories I would of thought they were all paid actors
She invested in too many things at once... just cause you LIKE to do something doesn't mean you should go massively invest for it. Cause a quarter million dollars in she paid for that studio and maybe found out later it ain't what they thought it was..... she should of taken it slow...spent too much too fast and focused on materialism vs building true wealth.... comes with the lack of financial literacy and spiritual growth. The money enabled exactly what she was.... it's an equal scale some win and do exactly what they need to and others are like cynthia ....
That set for life seems silly. Great for the winners but the lotto company loses overall. We have set for life in my country but it stops at 20 years. Having it continue through the children’s age until death is wild.
It continues if he dies before the 20/25 years. The lotto here are CAPPED they let you know because you can choose the entire pay out of what ever it is "for life" example if it's 1 million a year for life it would be 20-25 years 25 million. You can take the 25 million which will be significantly less after tax maybe 17 million after tax. Or get paid more getting it yearly because you pay less tax "so they say" So if he dies 15 years into the lotto his family gets the remaining 10 million. Up until they die if they die after 7 million the next kin gets the remaining 3.
😳A financial advisor that tells you to go out and spend on something is definitely not a financial advisor I would hire!!! in my opinion, if I were a financial advisor, I would had told them at least that if you would like, you can spend money but if you don’t want to, you don’t have to. That was a poor financial advisor’s advice!!!
Actually, that was one of the best advice a financial advisor can give to someone who wins the lottery, especially if they win big. why? because many people who win big don't know how it feels to be rich and are afraid to spend. Even if they invest, they still feel insecure about enjoying it. This winner's wife said they were afraid when they first won. so the advisor wanted them to feel more comfortable and secure with being rich. He didn't tell them to go and blow the money. Besides, what is the point of winning the lottery if you are not going to spend some and enjoy? if you just invest to make it bigger and die, I would consider it a big waste of time and money.
Maybe $1000 a week was a lot of money back then; when was this? 15 Years ago? And after tax, that would have been +/-$3000 a month? Not enough to relax on! Maybe back then, yes, but today that would just help to pay some bills, and not to have to worry that you can't (depending on your bills!), but certainly not enough to give up your job for! Today, 2024, I would have given up my job or just done it parttime, with an extra 3000 coming in every month, and I would have been able to pay my rent, bills, and maybe save a bit each month for a nice annual holiday, but then I'm pensionable age already and my kids are out of the house, so only me to consider. Nowadays, these types of competitions offer €20 000 ($22 000) a month for life! (or 20 yrs, so better save half of it if you're a young winner!)
So, wait up......the couple with $1000 a week for life, their daughter.....is actually the daughter of the husband and the sister in law......? So Mom still doesn't have a biological child. But I guess they don't care. But I wonder how she copes knowing that her daughter is the daughter of her husband and her sister? That must be strange.... I'd be SO aware of it each time I saw my sister! And how does the sister cope with knowing that that is HER daughter actually each time she sees her?? I don't think I could cope with such a situation as the non-bio Mom. Or even as the Dad, always knowing that his daughter is not the daughter of his wife. I couldn't cope with that, I'd always be so aware that this child is not really mine/ours. Could one really love a non-bio child as deeply as you love a bio child? I guess, many women like her would say yes, and many adoptive parents would say yes. Maybe it's just me who couldn't cope with that.
That is the wife's biological daughter. Her sister was a surrogate. They didn't use her sister's eggs. They used their own sperm and egg and had it planted inside her sister who was better abled to gestate and give birth.
The mother and the father used their own reproductive cells and had them artificially implanted in the uterus of her sister. The sister did not use her own ovum, which is quite obvious to me since Alexia looks like the spitting image of the guy's wife.
The janitor and his wife are so sweet and humble
