Dry Shampoo Brush?! AMAZING

  • If you’re an avid dry shampoo user, this video is for you. This particular dry shampoo brush was a targeted ad on our social media and we had to purchase to try and test, obviously. A dry shampoo with a patented brush head sounds incredible, but does this hair product work? First of all, the initial cost to purchase this dry shampoo is expensive. But when you break down the cost per month, it’s pretty affordable. There are two versions, fragrance or fragrance-free. In this video, I demonstrate how to use the dry shampoo hair brush and what my hair looks and feels like the rest of the day into the next morning.

    I wish I loved dry shampoo, for both grease & texture (I have thin hair that looks terrible after a day) but cannot stand feeling product in my head. Really enjoy hearing your experiences with new products. You present them so nicely and love you give us an ongoing update- that is so useful & under done with reviews.

    • @iwillstom
      @iwillstom Год назад +3

      Same! The ones that are “clear” and feel the least product-y don’t absorb any oil. And the ones that actually give my hair some texture and grip make my roots look dull and feel disgusting.

    • @totesflaisch
      @totesflaisch Год назад +3

      @@iwillstom I totally agree, most dry shampoos are just not that great. I only recently found one that I like, it is pretty clear, but it absorbs the oil and I can't really feel or see the product afterwards. But it's only a small german drugstore brand. The main ingredient is rice starch though, maybe that makes a difference compared to other dry shampoos.

    • @hikeeba44
      @hikeeba44 Год назад +3

      Yes, I have thin, oily hair like that, too! I had forgotten about the texture. I tried one once that felt so gross that I just immediately washed my hair to get it out. 😆 I was lucky to have that time! It's also darkish brown, which doesn't help color wise.

    • @mochibear8933
      @mochibear8933 Год назад +2

      @@hikeeba44 me too. I feel it in my hair and just want to wash it. Maybe the thick hair girls have so much hair it isn't so noticeable lol MyThinner hair, to get some real oomph back into it, a wash and dry is the only thing, unless pulled back into a pony, usually a bun, cause ponies look pitiful. Dare you get sweaty though. I don't think my dark blonde helps, it goes dull too. One day, with technology & the competitive market, I hope someone will bring out a product for us fine/thin hair ladies :)

    I have this and the directions say to brush it both ways (like against the grain as well), it soaks up more oil that way but I feel like the bristles get my hair tangly and more matted at the root when I do it that way as opposed to just brushing through as you are doing. Just thought I’d mention it in case you want to try it that way for more oil control, volume, etc

    Awesome idea as far as getting more of the product on the hair and less on the scalp. My scalp gets so irritated from all dry shampoos. Somebody should invent a refillable brush, and then we could use whatever product agrees the most with our hair/scalp. Maybe with different bristle options for preference choice.

    I would be interested to see a side by side comparison of this product and I Dew Care's Tap Secret dry shampoo. It has a cushion-like applicator rather than a brush, but seems similar otherwise. Especially because it also allows you to apply product to the roots instead of the scalp. The best feature of Tap Secret is the $15 price tag, though!

    I use Plantur 21 shampoo and conditioner and they cost around £10 each but I use about half as much as my old shampoo and conditioner and I honestly use it about every 10-14 days. I've trained my hair to not need washing as much. I've used dry shampoo but I never see any difference tbh (probably because I don't need to use it) .
    I absolutely love the Plantur 21, I've been using it for about 4 months now and I've noticed a massive difference in hair loss (I lose around 4 or 5 times less than what I was losing, it's been so good for everything, hair loss, hair condition, needing less product and needing to wash it a lot less.
    Sorry, this comment has turned into a plug for the product I use lol

    I only wash my hair once a week. Three days down, 4 days up. If you keep your hands out of your hair and don't brush it too much it does stay cleaner. I think most would benefit from the fragrance to stop stinky scalp. I liked your hair blonder, did you change it to allow more grow out?
