One day we're all going to realise that acting is not a necessarily difficult skill. Does it take some God-given talent? Not really, but there's definitely some that can go above and beyond, either with being incredible presences socially, able to recite lines by heart after only a few readings, able to cry at will and pull from real emotion etc.
But we all need to understand that actors, like any other profession are just that, they're people doing a job. The job is to entertain and if the Rock can entertain, then he's a good actor, simple as that. Should he be winning any awards? Let's not go that far haha.
After his performance in Blackklansman and Tenet, I truly believe JDW has what it takes to be amongst the greats like his father.
