  • Aloha! This week, I'm showing you folks how to explain the process of cooking an egg in olelo Hawaii. I've had many students over the years who have had the same struggle of trying to use practical Hawaiian in their everyday lives. Some of them may even be at a conversational level, but are still having a hard time finding ways to talk about something as simple as cooking an egg. If you find yourself to be in those same shoes, hopefully this video will help with that. And maybe you'll be able to pick up some new words too.

I love this! I can’t understand everything without subtitles but it is super helpful catching a few words here and there. Cooking vocabulary and recipe videos are my favorite way to study languages. Mahalo!

That’s a win! I thought about making a whole meal, but I know for some people the vocabulary overwhelming along with extremely. So I think bite-sized content is working in its own way.

On my IG I use subtitles for the short clips. But I want RUclips to be a place where people can really dig in and test themselves. Thanks for your comment and for watching🤙
