    Cat n Mouse Singles Drill - Serve/ROS/Server "must" drop and play out point using CnM. - Want an easier Drop, hit a bigger serve...want to elicit a weaker drop? - Hit a deeper return. Yes to the great drills.

      @tanner.pickleball  9 месяцев назад

      Yes great clarification!

    • @TheSourcingSamurai
      @TheSourcingSamurai 9 месяцев назад

      You are 100% on it most "are not" practicing and not practicing how to defend. The facial expressions when a good drop in singles goes in = priceless. - now learning how to finish the point, because I never knew what could happen until I made the drops consistently to see what comes back the most or the pattern. You have hacked this learning curve "like a Professional". I feel relieved to hear someone much better than I saying "this is something you want to focus on".

    we play the same game of skinny starting at kitchen. One idea is if you serve and win you move - other person stays put. That way you get some cross court and straight on in the same game. Also if you can go ATP you get the whole court. good way to practice doing that. Love your content!

    • @tanner.pickleball

      Hi Mike! Thanks for that comment! And yes, I know what game you're talking about, we call it "mini skinny," I made a video on it, just not in this one! I also play the ATPs but forgot to mention that. Great input!

    Great drilling!! I love your videos always to the point. What’s your grip like on 1-10 when doing reset shots? Also, how do you avoid popping the ball on a 4th short (taking it out of air) against perfect drop shot ?

    • @tanner.pickleball
      @tanner.pickleball  8 месяцев назад

      Grip is SUPER lose on resets, 2/3 out of 10! You have to really hit down on the ball in order to not pop it up on fourth shots!

      I like it!! I currently am using the Perseus. However with the Engage, I put 4 inch strips of lead tape in all four corners!! That made me like it way better! I struggled with taking balls out of the air with it.
