Tobias Harris has the next worst contract currently other than Beal

Kwame Brown. Not the largest of contracts, but for his production it was out of control.

Simmons actually a semi good contract, cause its his last year, so good bargining chip for trade, or money off the books.

beal contract was reasonable at the time because he averaged over 30 points and could have been a top 10 player

Yeah for me the worst contracts would be the ones that seemed bad THEN and NOW

beal was never close to a top ten player. his 30 ppg were as empty as an average that high could be, and the no trade clause was absolutely baffling from the moment it was announced.

The contract Seattle gave Jim McIlvane in the late 90s absolutely deserves a spot on the list.

I’m surprised you didn’t bring up Jaylen brown. The dude is putting up great numbers but not 57 mil a year hall of fame numbers

Old brad the Bandit made out like someone who just won the lottery.
I mean think of how many players there are in the NBA averaing 19 ppg
who are making very short bags.

Ben Gordon and Josh Smith and Charlie Villanueva all 3 by Joe dumars pistons. 3 of the worst contracts ever.

Yeah, surprised he left out Allan Houston. 5 yrs $100M at the end of his prime, a contract so bad they literally named the amnesty clause the "Allan Houston rule" in the 2010s CBA.

Len Bias didn't live long enough to sign a contract, or it would be no contest.

@@reynaldoflores0923 If you were a basketball fan during that time, he was considered an all star level player. It was like each team back then had a superstar, and he was theirs. Sure he didn’t win titles, or go on deep playoff runs. But he led them to winning records and playoff appearances. Surely one of the top 50 players of His era.
