@gomojo107 it was made even easier bc it was the last hand. Few hours earlier and top pair weak kicker coulda easily folded to that bluff. Gotta know when to make a move like that. This was NOT the time lol
He was mainly repping T9 or a slow-played KJ. Not all that much. Then again, what bluffs does he raise here with? Only QT. So against a GTO nit, I think you can fold. But these guys are clearly have a bunch of spew in their ranges so good call Tony

I grew into liking him while very not at first glance. He brings good positive energy with a little needling twist to stir the game up. Overall great persona.
Actually, no. I mean, great read yes, but not based on instinct. The raise at the end was very polarizing. The only premium hands Nikita could have logically had were sets of sevens or sets of deuces or maybe KJ. On the other hand, being a straddle defender, he could have been floating with a lot of bluffs or small pairs turned into a bluff (which he had). He is never raising with anything but a top 2, set or straight. He doesn't have a straight since he didn't get good odds to call on the turn with a double gutter (unless he is just gambling and chasing draws in the last hand, which is highly unlikely). He doesn't have kings, jacks or AK since he would have re-raised before the flop, plus he is never raising AK on the river anyway. It was either small set, top two pairs or nothing, and there were only 6 combos of small sets and 9 combos of KJ vs many combos of worse hands (JT, J9, Q9, Q7, Q8, AT, A7 etc).
not a bad calling hand for tony with top pair + the 9 blocker to the 9 10 which is clearly what was being repped as played, def a better calling hand than something like AK for example
that is hardly the case we have here it was a reraise after getting called to your raise on the flop and turn very hard tony has a very big heart ...especially when he is qualified
@@TheBarbahaba people usually call the raises till river when they have a good hand and then jam on river to extract full value. Tony called here just like he was calling before. He was just lucky that mikita bluffed him when he was high as fuck.
@@Gbaby1214 yes but the other player badziakouski called 2 streaks ... and raised on his bet i considered the first bet on the river by tony as raise so the raise by badziakouskias reraise .. my mistake but still very very difficult ... normally would not even consider this a good call unless you have a tell or if its special case like last hand in a maniac table
@@TheBarbahaba This was a fantastic call because the way that Badziakouski played the hand made it very unlikely for him to have a set or 2-pair. He tried to represent a straight on the river and he got caught by Tony, partially because Tony had a blocker to that straight. Very well played by Tony G.
I was amazed that tony g even had the balls to go for 3 streets of value against these two out of position, but snap calling the raise really made it an all time top 5 hand
Why would Donkakouski decide to bluff Tony g on the river when he basically he said he wanted to gamble all in on the last hand??? he wasn't going to fold a king... Maybe not even a jack
I have to say I'm really not sure about this play from Badziakouski. There must be some kind of leveling thing going on here but his river raise is just hard to buy. I understand trying to take the pot away from a guy who can show up pretty wide but I felt like either the flop or the turn would have been a better spot to try to take it away. Tony can be c-betting pretty much any 2 cards on the flop and Haxton's flat call pre and flat call on the flop probably caps him at mostly 2nd pair or maybe top pair with a weak kicker. However, one could make the argument that the flop is just a touch too dry for him to credibly rep a hand like 77 by raising; in which case I really like floating the flop and raising the turn. After Tony G leads for a 2nd time it's more reasonable for Badziakouski to believe he is strong which means it's more likely that this would be the spot that he would choose to raise something like a set or an oddball 2-pair. Once the river comes, T9 gets there and I feel like he tried to rep this hand without considering that he would likely have raised his double gutter (with a backdoor flush draw) on the flop. Of course, it doesn't help that Tony G had the 9s which blocks one of the 3 combos of T9 that Badziakouski could reasonably have continued with. I dunno, I just feel like Tony G sniffed it out so fast that there must have been a miscalculation somewhere.
To be honest the run out was great for tony g. To call all streets. Nakita took why too long . Nikita even if he had Jack’s in that spot should have raced the turn so really the raise at the end makes no sense
