I'm glad we are seeing more of Randy. Hopefully one of these days all of you can sit down with your grandpa and have a great talk. Good history is always great to listen to .
I love that feeling of waking up to thunder when I just mowed an alfalfa field… started cussing at the ceiling fan unable to sleep the rest of the night lol
Seems like Brody is in need of a hug😊
My dad would have asked "Where is your bucket" and when I asked "what for" he would have said "so you can move the seed over to even out the tanks.
All I can say is thank you for all you farmers do to help feed and fuel America. Farmers are the backbone and you are appreciated by many.
We appreciate all you do. If it was easy everyone would be a farmer. 🧑🌾
The same can be said with educators First responders from law enforcement to EMS firefighters. That being said This country boy well farming is close Very close to my heart! God bless
@@paulprigge1209anyone can be an “educator”. They are not all good… I agree with the rest.
@@Farmnflyin Well I could not pass the test nowadays to be an educator. That is a requirement now that was not required when I was in school. So no not everyone can be an educator. Absolutely no way I could pass that test
You guy's are the best farmers out there to control this DEVESTATIN YEAR!!!
I Know you as a family will get through this to protect your yield outcome.
If things don't work out as well you have done everything in God's power will help you in every way he can.
May God Bless you, your family and employees to make this year a decent one.
It is great to see the love you have for one another and I'll keep on praying to not hurry your yeat and all the tireless hours you've worked to make this summer a decent one.
May God Bless the Larson farm and all of the employees.
Observe, Adapt and Overcome. Huge props out to you guys for your stick-tuit-ness.
Thank you for showing us the Great, the good, the bad, and the ugly of farming. A lot of people think its an easy thing, and obviously it is not.
I farmed for twenty years, and I always said that mother nature is always in charge!
This crazy hard working crew has to much fun, good thing Dougo and Randy are around to keep things in check 🙂
Your attitude during such frustrating times is very positive Chet! That's why I subscribe to watch you guys.
In answer to you wearing your clothes for three day well hold my beer. I spent 10 years in the Navy and three and a half years of that was on a diesel submarine and we couldn't
make enough water to take showers most of our water that we made was for cooling equipment and for the cooks. We could take a birdbath about every few days, if we did more
than that you were called a water buffalo. It didn't matter anyway because everything was coated from the diesel fumes. Now the Nuke boats were a lot better there we made enough
water to where you could take showers unless a still went down. I have a great amount of respect for you guys. You work very hard for us and feed us. Keep up the great work taking
care of America. I salute you guys. I hope Mother Nature does give you guys a break and my prayers are with you.
Best channel on RUclips. Great narrative explaining what you are doing and why you are doing so. Great job editing
I say it every time, you guys are freaking awesome. Seeing the ups and downs of farming is so addictive. Douggo and I are the same age so I hear so much of myself in him it’s crazy. Your band of Merry Men is a mirror image of our family but we do cars and have a small 10 acre farm. We have 10 employees and each one is like family, everyone knows their part & we have so much fun- working- just like yall.
Just be thankful your farm is in the north any further south you would be under water still! It’s something different every year that never changes!😊
Being a farmer is hard and under appreciated, bless you guys hopefully this year works out
David Fincher once said..."You're in charge. You're NOT in control. Anyone who thinks they're in control is nuts!" Farmers know that in spades!
I can't help feeling bad for you guys. I farmed in my younger days and know what you're going through. You're handling the stress much better than I did.
Thanks for another awesome video everyone.
It was interesting and informative and enjoyable to watch.
The rain is causing a lot of long hours and short nights.
Everyone hang in there.
Appreciate your openness about the overall situation with the weather and replanting and what needs to be done. Wow. Can wear a person down.
How about keeping a change of clothes at the farm for when you stay over a night.
Randy does a good job of keeping an eye on what can be worked and what can’t. He has a good eye for that stuff.
Everyone is really working hard trying to get crops in and working around the
Weather. Oh my.
Thanks for your honest outlook on farming right now.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
First time since 1997 did I see the neighbor have to spot replant the field next to me,struggle bus for a lot. Hope you get prices after harvest!
Good on you for staying upbeat. Hope you get some rest soon.
Not going to lie slept in planter tractor cab this year. Just wanted to get done this year
We need to send water wings and waders to you and the rest of our farmers up north. Here is to hope and prayers, boys.
Love the authenticity and realness of your videos. You share the good and the bad, and that all comes with life on the farm. Thanks for sharing it with us. Excited to see the videos of the new grain bin construction and how the crop fares as the summer goes on.
Not many shops you can walk around in your socks or bare foot with out getting dirty.
Or metal shavings sticking in your feet.
Bot
Real men doing real work!
I keep you and all farmers in prayer. You're all amazing. The late Paul Harvey made a wonderful read And God Made The Farmer. I hope I recalled the title correctly.
All I can say is thank you for all you farmers do to help feed and fuel America
This is a very good thing. It's not about your crops.
You get easily tell when you're aggravated. You would display that to an inanimate object. Your camera.
But when you come across people , you laugh and try to make them feel better. You're a good person
Hang in there fellas!
Dougo you are Soooo right. Love the honesty. Keep it up Larson farms best farm channel on you tube
Hook a five gallon pail somewhere on the planter so you can use it to even out the planter seed hoppers. I hope your replanting faired better than ours we replanted beans and corn on weekend of June 15 by Monday night the 17th they were underwater again!
Not many shops you can walk around in your socks or bare foot with out getting dirty
Martin 2.0 earring his keep anyway
After wearing the same clothes for 3 days, dirty feet from the shop floor wouldn’t even phase me. I’d probably spend the next few days in the shower, while the wife throws the clothes in the garbage.
Hope you guys get it done
Chet Randy Eric Broodie Jordan Dougo that was to much that would have broke me but you guys keep on going. You guys got it going on you are the best
What a year,,, 79, 82, 88, 92, 96 all sucked as I remember... Keep on keeping on!!!
THANK GOD for you die hard farmers everywhere. Here we had hardly a winter in Mn i am farther North than you are. Then they day we need rain to make up for no snow, rivers and lakes are way down. Now its nonstop 1 nice day and rest rain and more rain not just rain severe weather and tornados and now flooding. I dont think there is a farmer out there that is going to have a good crop year. So NO you arent alone Chet. It obviously frustrating as you basically live in your tractors come planting and harvesting A LOT of long days and nights, appreciate all you all do to try to even get planted snd now trying to replant. Heck of a year so far is right🥺
I truly enjoy seeing how the farm has grown and expanded into new realms. Keep up the great work 😊
So very great to see another farm video from Larson Farm you made my day better thank you Chet
Praying for your fields and others around ya please don’t forget to be safe in the fields things get in a hurry and we can forget the smallest things. Praying for a small break. God bless y’all
Tough side of farming 👍👍👍
Life on the farm is ever easy or as you wish. You've got a great attitude and go with the punches of mother nature. Keep it up stay safe.
Crazy year for the farmers, hope it works out!!
Prayers for all this to straighten out for you!
Dang, still fighting the rain. It's the same down here in Missouri. I'm totally over it.
Awesome video guys. 🚜🚜🚜
Hang in there Gentlemen.
The Larson crew I know your pain because in 1988 it flooded parts of central michigan and never did a chance for replanting
Great video Chet. It was so funny when you snuck up on Jordan and goosed him and squalled. He jumped and hollered. 😅😂 lol. 👍❤️
Like The Chet interviews with workers, Dougo, Randy, etc..
If farming was easy more people would do it , but it is not, and the Larsons do it as good as anyone
Awesome video guys. Thank you
Chet, on the 4th day; turn your under wear inside out. It just feels better. 😁
Thanks, Chet, for another interesting video! Anyone familiar with farming knows how rough it can be! Keep your head up, you got this!
Uncle randy!!!!❤❤❤
He is quiet but a valuable
@stevenatkinson2393 definitely a man of few words.
That’s Farming! Praying your efforts pay off in the fall. Grow Baby Grow! 🙏🙏🙏🫘🫘🫘🌽🌽🌽
All that standing water and I can hear the mosquitoes buzzing...
Good jobs A-team!
It takes a village and I would bet my money on you guys any day!
When you get discouraged….just think about Job, in the Bible. Wow! Yours, mine, and everyone else’s problems don’t seem as bad! No matter our circumstances there is always…ALWAYS SOMEONE WAY WORSE THAN OUR!!!
-You guys got this! You are The Larson Farm Guys!!!!!
💯
We been in that situation and it sucks Now we need rain and we don’t get just little sprinkle not enough water to get anything wet.
Great video Chet .
Team Larson !
Thanks 👍
yup we passed 300% of last years rainfall...... but we lost my mum this spring and my cousin just lost her battle with breast cancer so you have to count yer blessings, it can be so much worse
Chet, as a locomotive engineer, please be careful at all railroad crossings so nothing happens to you or anyone else. As always thanks for sharing this.
The clouds are majestic - big weather.
I’ve been catchin hell this year with my little home garden as well. I’ve replanted twice as well. I feel for yall with that many acres.
It really feel like a battle (a struggle even) against mother nature at time, trying out best to figure out her "mood" and act accordingly. Thank you for the video and all the work you're doing.
You guys are doing an awesome job in farming. It stinks when it rains all the time. Hopefully, you'll get all done soon
Guys, don't get discouraged. God's got u right where he needs you. There are farms on RUclips that are running 40 - 50 year old tractors with 8-12 row planters. Be happy you are running some fantastic equipment. Be happy you have your health, and your future is bright. It's all good. To God be the Glory!! God Bless you, your family, your friends, and your farm.
Awesome job guys and keep up the great work!! 🚜
We once replanted one field 3 times and 4th time dad sayed screw it what Will be left Will be silage
It is all in mother natures hand good luck😀😀
I’m sorry for what you are dealing with but I love how everyone has a role for your continued success it’s not always fun but makes you appreciate the good times more, stay safe!!!
Love it
Good morning
great video
Keep up the faith chet. I'm sure it isn't easy but u will be rewarded in the end
I know that predicting the weather has always been a crap shoot. but they used to be allot more accurate in past years. they actually used to be able to predict with a fairly good percentage if rain was coming. but now days it feels like they put out a 7 day forecast and it changes hourly till it actually happens. I kinda feel like I can tell better if its going to rain just by checking our local radar. back before computer models they had to actually use experience and I feel they lost something now that we depend on computer models to forecast.
Never give up on a crop until you have to give up on a crop. I have seen people give up then the guy across the road cuts a nice🎉 crop. More than once. Chins up, there is time yet. Things want to grow.
Early july is getting to be give up time in MN. It could freeze in 60 days.
Love the hair
We have scales on each side , real neat. Can get real close of splitting pro box.
Awesome video Chet and Larson farms!!!
I’ve seen it raining small fish but never cats and dogs must have been a site. Ha Ha cheers Bundaberg Australia
If farming was easy, everyone would be doing it! Been there where your at with weather and crops. You take your bumps and bruises and keep moving forward .
Your still getting drowned and here in the Buckeye where i live NOTHING now for what four weeks , Rain all around me BUT not a drop. A week ago Friday i had just gather up my tools and was leaving a farm where i have been working in a Farmall 1206 for a guy and this Farmall has been my nightmare . when there was a real close lighting strike and it must have ripped a hole in the clouds and it came down like what the Monsoon's of Nam were like . BUT two miles up Rt 9 dry as a bone and the rest of the five miles to the house it was BONE dry. I have not mowed the grass here in four weeks .
Jordan coming into his own on the Channel 🫡
Gorgeous clouds at around 13:05 ⛅︎
Great Show 🇺🇲👍🏻
That's a tough decision to make. The phone call to insurance is never a call any farmer wants to make. This really does show the good, bad, and reality of farming life.
You hate to turn down moisture but you boys are getting your fill, we are blessed up here in Eastern Alberta. The "experts" were calling for drought conditions we have had over 8 inches so far.
21" here since corn planting in Southern MN . Missed a lot of heavy stuff many here have had much more.
New grain bin on site
Oh man ! You guys work so hard. Hope you get badly needed rest ! I feel for you all ! But keep plugging along . Need rain where i live in ohio. Blow dust mowing lawn .
LOL, you guys looked like I used to after a heavy night of partying down in Myrtle Beach but for a better cause. Good ole mother nature when things need to be done.............
Amazing that yall are claiming insurance on replant and on the east coast we're 100% loss on corn for drought.
Your high pressure dome has been steering all the rain onto us.
It will work out, thankfully you weren’t further south
U do a job right the first time!* how hard is it to wait for good conditions!*
The storm have seemed to be the same way up here this year and last year a guy couldn't buy a rain 😅
Love the honesty but always have a change of spare clothes in the car, never know when you may need them.
Brody and Chet are beard bros 😅😅😅😅😅
Even top shelf modern operations like yours can't do anything about all this rain. Have you noticed that all the rivers east of you are at major flood stage?
