I was intrigued by this place after watching this video, so I decided to visit Margaret River and Busselton in December 2023. I had a wonderful experience visiting the beaches and the wineries. I also had a chance to tour the Jewel Cave and walked from one end to the other at the Busselton Jetty. It was an unforgettable trip
As a domestically well-travelled Aussie, I can easily say it’s one of the top 5 ‘must visit’ regions of Australia. Stunning scenery (the beaches are amazing), exceptional food and wine, geographical diversity and great people.
2/3 of it is desert, the rest is hot and dry. Same vegetation, same landscape I give it to you that Australia has beautiful beaches apart from that it doesn’t have much else. Poor Dutch ran as fast as they could after landing in WA:)
@@daraa151also it is being overrun by Indians now. Chinese as well. They’re told whites are bad and socially engineered to hasten their replacement. It is so sad
2019 I drove from perth to mt Gambia back to Adelaide flow home. we took 4 weeks. explore wa and sa regions. only way to see Australia is self drive. and take your time. love it.
God I love this place. I love how it’s got beaches, rain Forrest, fields of flowers, rivers. I get the train from Perth to bundbury then drive to Margaret river. Forgot about those: the caves. I remember spending a whole day and was surprised by the amount of water in them even though they were in the bush! Okay you got me crying now. I must miss it more than I want to admit! My soul so much needs this :(

The Coast is beautiful and looks a lot like The Monterey Peninsula in California where I live but I’m sure the water must be warmer.
