And the crazy thing is this plan worked! He managed to kill most of the sparrow population in the country, but the thing is the sparrows took care of insects that harmed their crops, so without the birds there was a massive famine causing many casualties. Maybe the craziest part is at some point the polish embassy tried to hide sparrows in the embassy to save them. Mao had the building surrounded with drummers to make enough noise to keep them flying until they were exhausted. A few days later no more birds in the embasy. Both birds are by far the most ba birds because they won wars. And we can give an honorable mention to pigeons for serving in ww1
I know little about prehistoric animals, but the most “B.A.” flying animal currently existing is definitely the golden eagle. There’s no flying animal that looks more badass to me than an eagle with a flying hood on. Just my opinion though. My favorite bird is the peregrine falcon though, but I would call that bird amazing rather than badass. I’ve considered getting a license to own and fly raptors but it’s a lot of work, the type of hobby that you have to dedicate all your free time to.

I like quails, I love they’re fat little round body’s and the sounds they make are adorable, and the baby’s are like cotton balls running faster than sound basically. All around quails are silly little round birds.

The dragonfly has the highest success rate (of all animals??) on its hunts. I think it's around 90% of the time it attacks prey, it gets it. That's the winner for me.
One of the coolest birds that is alive now is the Secretary Bird they are really fast and attack using their feet and can fly and they look really cool too so if there was any bird that is alive today that's really cool it's this one
I think it depends on your taste. I loooove all types of predatory birds like falcons, hawks, etc. But I think the classics are always the best. The eagle. There ya go.
My favorite birds are those in the Corvid family, particularly crows and ravens. They can make tools and have been known to drop small stones into a container of water to raise the water level high enough to be able to reach it to drink from it. Any bird smart enough to understand water displacement and able to mimic human speech is a threat.
crows also have been observed showing human emotions such as grief, and parrots not only can mimic human speech, but they can also form hyperfixations/obsessions

Fun fact, a Tyrannosaurus can get up to 40 ft long. A Quetzalcoatlus' wingspan is 33 ft and it's head is 10 ft long.
