I just finished Pride and it has to be one of my favorite movies. It’s an amazing story. Definitely would recommend seeing the movie if you haven’t seen it already.
I have just watched one of the funniest and moving films I have EVER seen. This film is fantastic and very touching. I urge you all to watch it. Here is the preview. It is based on true accounts of how the miners and the gay community came together. What a wonderful testament to humanity.I come from a mining community, my father, and grandparents were all miners. And as I am a gay man, this film was very profound for me.
I just watched this film for the first time and I am beyond inspired. What an incredible union and demonstration of solidarity. Highly recommend everyone watches it.
Well Done! Will share this with U of M students here in Minnesota. I came out here during the same time, 1983-87 and remember how Maggie Thatcher and Ronnie Reagan had similar policies. Well acted and a flash back to the past to see how our politics has mattered. We now have gay marriage in Minnesota with support from our own Iron Mining Range. Thanks..
finally saw it it took me back to that time and it was amazing, sad, happy, all mixed into one when we where a real gay community not the lgbtqiua whatever else lobes in. we actually cared for one another

Great film, thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
When did we forget how to do this? When did we lose the ability to see past the differences and to the similarities in how our Govt treat us all?
