Thank you l.g.s.m. For supplying food for me and my family at a time when the miners had nothing. VERY HARD TIMES.👍❤️

I have just watched one of the funniest and moving films I have EVER seen. This film is fantastic and very touching. I urge you all to watch it. Here is the preview. It is based on true accounts of how the miners and the gay community bonded in the miners strike and supported each other against the policies of Margaret Thatchers government. What a wonderful testament to humanity.I come from a mining community, my father, and grandparents were all miners. And as I am a gay man, this film was very profound for me.

got the DVD of this as a Christmas gift to myself last year, I regret not buying it sooner as the film is a masterpiece and I've fallen in love with it and its story, I recommend to anyone to watch it. Funny, well-written, dramatic and also very poignant and moving

Dulais is a valley not a village, I think they went to the Miners Welfare Hall in Onllwyn.
