even though I am a young 50 years old ( 51) next week , I have a few prevost over the last 20 years , love them to death but ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS do you home work and research before buying a used coach , it will save you thousands in the long run and always keep up on the regular care for the coach and it will last a life time thanks Andrew for the great vids
Tom give us some expert Prevost advice, what should we be looking for when buying a used coach? Your expertise is invaluable, any information would be greatly appreciated. Thx
Hi Andrew, my husband and I think you are awesome 👏 Great job with all of these videos, they are so helpful; between the RV park reviews and all of the coaches you show, you bring information we would otherwise not know about. We are airstream owners and always looking for new RV parks, and possibly to trade in to a Class A at some point ... Thanks for all your hard work 👍😊
Thank you so much Andrew...I have not had a break in the last five days to do much more than sleep and didn't realize you inserted me into this video. I got a huge bump in views and subscribers!!
Why not king beds in these large expensive coaches? And those strip lights are so dated....and if a string goes out, to get matching lights is almost impossible. Either to bright, too yellow, etc.
Andrew; given that you need access to their coaches for your videos, I understand you need to maintain your great relationships with the dealers such as Premier, so this may not be a video you’re willing to do, but... It would be great to understand the negotiation process when buying a used coach. I’ve heard it said that it’s normal to negotiate very strong when buying a new coach - some have even said to offer 40%+ less than asking; but I don’t have a feel for how that process works when looking for a used coach. Obviously, it would change with the economy and other factors; but a video on how the process works with used coaches would be SO helpful. For instance; if you were looking to upgrade and possibly buy the Prévot’s in this video, what would your starting offer be ? I understand if a video such as this would work against your need to keep a great rapport with these dealers, but you’re the only (honest) one I know to ask.
This is a great idea. All dealerships operate different but I will work on putting something together. I had thought about this before but it slipped my mind so thank you for reminding me.
RVing with Andrew Steele Yeah, but I just thought that their margins and mark-ups would be something they would want to keep close to the vest. They obviously want to get whatever they can for the used coaches, so if everyone is walking in saying “Andrew says to always start by offering 50% of asking...” - that can’t be a positive for their profit margin. I hope I’m somehow wrong.
I'm curious as well about pricing. Typically production coaches are heavily discounted when new. But I don't think that's the case with Prevost conversions. So I"m wondering if the discount structure for a used Prevost is also different from that of a production coach. There's probably no rule of thumb since every used coach is going to be affected by condition/mileage etc...
Unfortunately I didn't have access to that information. It's not listed on the website and all of their sales people were with customers. I popped in unannounced and they were slammed so I didn't want to bother them at all. If you are interested, you can give the folks at premium coach group a call and they will give you all the information.
No they wouldn't be. The CARB rules don't apply to motorhomes. Big RV lobbyists took care of that. California would loose too many vacationers and retirees. I still take my 1967 Detroit 8V71 2 stroke there. No problems.
nice but yeah the brass look is actually back now lol they do it with dark blue cabinets i like this bad boy though james could b your brother from another mother? no come on! :) tell the truth! he got your daddys good looks lol now thats funny stuff lol i kid cause i kare brohem!now clik my pic 4 more laughs! :)

Beautiful new interior with the updated modern elegance of relaxing light and breezy sophisticated simplicity.
well said and well done on this one ,really!
Love the design and colors of the outside. The blue at the top of the coach really pops! Thanks for bringing this coach to the public.

A real beauty of a coach. My only fear would be operating costs and maintenance. Thanks for sharing Andrew.
Thank you so much Andrew...I have not had a break in the last five days to do much more than sleep and didn't realize you inserted me into this video. I got a huge bump in views and subscribers!!
This one had been my favorite. That bedroom closet with the built in dresser 😲
Hey Andrew, I love your stuff. I watch 5togo and Matt's reviews out in FL and then I watch your pitch for the homerun! Thanks for everything.

The coach has been well looked after, and looks the part.

That outside paint job is sick ! I was wondering when they get a new (used)coach in, what kind of a inspection checks do they go through. ?
Very nice fresh look at interior!👏
Hi Andrew....thank you for showing this rig. It is really nice!
Thank you Andrew, nice coach. Have a great day!
Great video, nice looking coach! Thanks for all these video’s! Now here’s the question would you buy this or a 17-19 alegro bus or zephyr ?
Why not king beds in these large expensive coaches? And those strip lights are so dated....and if a string goes out, to get matching lights is almost impossible. Either to bright, too yellow, etc.

Your video is at 861 views in one hour so it very well could be gone by now. Wow what a viewership!
Good video again Andrew. Wished I had the money to buy one of those coaches.
Andrew, what do you use on coach tires as a dressing? I was told to use nothing to protect the tires.

I try to do biz with dealers that are as transparent as possible and willing to tell it all so nothing wrong with making a video like this.

RVing with Andrew Steele If YOU were interested in this $380k Prevost, what would your starting offer be ??

some of us like brass, bud...I'm just saying. I understand it was the thing back at the turn of the century, but it's coming back into style.
I just saw that coach at East Tennessee Luxury Coaches......
Gorgeous unit
Is this a pre def model? Looking for a non slide and non def model prevost. Thanks.
Look's beautiful
Andrew is it still available? I don't see it on their website.
How much extra to replace the windows with lexan and add a 1/2 inch of kevlar insulation?
That's a sweet rig! Love colours, in and out and floor plan. I'd be all over that $ in hand! Social distance friend and get tested
Great content as always
Another really nice one.
You should do more viewing on the outside rv.
Great channel..
Thank you!

How many miles on this coach?

well u wont like your trade in value bro :)
Does anyone know if these pre 2011 buses are affected by the change in CARB rules for diesels in California? I’m assuming yes
No they wouldn't be. The CARB rules don't apply to motorhomes. Big RV lobbyists took care of that. California would loose too many vacationers and retirees. I still take my 1967 Detroit 8V71 2 stroke there. No problems.
