- In this video I have a heart to heart discussion with you guys on my intent of wanting to quit bedside nursing. I still very much love nursing and my job, but this is something that I wanted to do with my career. I hope you will still continue to support me on my journey. I have been enjoying making content for the past 2 years and will continue to try to stay consistent but please bear with me if I am not.

I became an RN 32 through a MSN program for second career people but was a Dietitian before that so there is that. I left Adult ICU after hurting my back and became a Case Manager. One license… a thousand opportunities. My intensive program was quite time consuming and my wife had a tough time with it at the time. But zero regrets… a wonderful life overall. Best of luck to you… go get ‘em.
I was also a dietitian for 7 years before coming a nurse!! I now work as a NICU nurse.
The Nclex test is very difficult to pass, I can’t believe I failed after studying with so many materials😔💔💔💔💔
I hope I can pass NCLEX Exam I Don't have a job,I am 32 years old all my dreams related to NCLEX,if I can choose between my life and NCLEX would choose NCLEX
Is she really reliable?
I’m currently working with her and I subscribed for the question and answer which I got after few hours
So excited to hear about this!
I am very excited for you on this new journey!!!
Thank you so much 🤗❤️
This video was exactly what I needed to see, as I want to do both NICU nursing and teach at the same time and have been torn over the two. Best wishes to you!!
I always wanted to work in the NICU, but didn't have a great shadowing experience. I am afraid of unsupportive coworkers.
Don’t let your past negative experience stop you
I think you’ll be a very knowledgeable, kind and welcoming educator! Definitely what healthcare needs 👏 wishing you the best
That is so sweet! Thank you so much 🥰
💗exciting! 🥳🧸
Thank you 😊
You will make an excellent nurse educator! Best of luck darling ❤️
Thank you so much for your support 🥰
Agree, she will be awesome at teaching and will benefit so many children by influencing future nurses ♥
That is so sweet. Thank you 🥺❤️
It is a great plan. Using two of your passions and combine them. Our profession needs that. I do have to say. The tittle doesn’t not reflect the reality of the content. You said it yourself. You are not planing to leave beside any time soon. I guess this was just a bit of a future planning video. Keep in mind that a lot of nurses are actually leaving the bedside and posting their stories so they can be heard and nursing professionals can get more fair working conditions and also pay. I know this title gets people attention but your video does not reflect that reality. I hope you the best on your journey. Hope this plans you have can become a reality.
Does your program requires contact hours even though it is online?
Yes. I have to find my own location besides my home unit to do my practicum (144 hours required) which is the last course before my program ends. If I can’t find one, then the school will help me locate one in my area
Tiffany, as someone who is a Special Education Teacher looking to GET OUT of that field and possibly into nursing I can unfortunately tell you that teaching is even worse than nursing believe it or not. Us teachers are all leaving in droves. I don't think you should do it. Don't waste more money on that type of degree. I wanted to give you the heads up.
As a nurse educator, I will still be a nurse with an intention of teaching in hospitals and taking on the role of the nurse educator on my unit where I am focused on creating and implementing curriculum for the new graduate nurse programs/residencies in hospitals and train new grad nurses as well as new hires. I am also focused on maintain skill levels within the unit for our current working nurses. I do not think educating our future nurses and maintaining skills of our staff is a waste of a degree.
Not a regular teacher...we know unfortunately they get underpaid and overworked
The title of your video is very misleading and it appears you’re using the title for clickbait. You’re not quitting bedside nursing anytime soon and you’re planning to become a nurse educator which is not a crazy job change. Please do better with how you present your videos and yourself, it’s not fair to your audience.
Your content would be excellent for tiktok.. you'll fit right in with the attention seeking nurses there
Are you joking? She is anything but attention seeking. She's the real deal.
@@katjorbar Yes. The real tiktok deal. Great for all of the simps
