Amazing. Ive been in Tromso last October. I loved it. Amazing to see your video. God bless
Well done! great stuff i visited Tromsø and Northern Norway few times wonderful memories thank you so much
Thank you very much ! Yes, Norway is really wonderful 😍 ! We literally felt in love with this country and we were this year in Svalbard : totally amazing 🤩 ! Let’s watch my video : ruclips.net/video/3eVYNSL45JE/видео.html ! Thanks again 👍
I miss Tromso so much, so beautiful ♥️
Thank you Kristina !
Hi, great video. When were you here? We are thinking about going there the last week of january.
Thank you ! We were in Tromsø during the last week of February. I think daytime is too short in January, even at the end of the month. The last week of February and the 2 first ones of March are, in my opinion, the best ones : daytime is long enough for visiting and the weather good enough to enjoy the northern lights !
If you wanna see more of our travels in Norway, let’s watch our other videos 😉 !
Absolument enchantée par ce voyage …..
Wow, merci infiniment 😊 !
Cordialement
Nice Video. We move to Tromsø in July.
Thank you very much ! I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay in Tromsø !!!

Eu concordo com você !
Very nice! Well done! 👍 Northern Norway is simply a dream... I've been there four times and I'm going back in just under four weeks. I hope we are as lucky with the aurora as the last times...
Best regards, Berni
Thank you very much ! You know, we’ll be back in Tromsø within four weeks as well !!!!!!!!! For this second trip (departure on February, 24 from France), we’ll spend eleven days in Tromsø and one week in Svalbard ! I can’t wait being back in this white paradise ! And this time, I’ll do my best to shoot a more beautiful video with my brand new Canon R6 !!!
Wish you a great stay ! Best regards ! Maybe we’ll meet !!!!!!!
What a coincidence! But a wise decision to travel to this paradise again. You'll see - this area is addictive and you'll have to go back again and again.😉 I'm always drawn back there... Wow... Svalbard! We have not yet visited Svalbard. Definitely on the list!
We wish you a wonderful stay and holiday. And also good luck with the aurora borealis like I had the last four times. My luck was almost uncanny. Especially in 2017. Maybe this was the aurora of my life. So intense...
And who knows - maybe we will really see each other? 😎
You have made a very good choice with the Canon R6 - also with regard to the future. Be sure to use a very good fixed focal length lens with a very good luminous intensity. Don't skimp! You won't regret it... I still use the Canon EOS 5D Mark III and IV. But mirrorless cameras are the future.
I also have some videos from the last visit to Northern Norway and Finnish Lapland (Feb 2020). The image quality of the videos is not that good, because many videoclips were made with a old mobile phone and the frame rate does not match the drone footage. Nevertheless, I think it's quite nice to look at.
Best regards and I have subscribed to your channel
@@bernimuellerphoto-videogra4256 Thank you very much ! I note that we were there at the same time in February 2020 (20-29) !
Regarding the Canon R6, I'm very satisfied with it, but I know that the 5D is also an excellent (and robust) camera.
I have a question: where are you from ?
@@bernimuellerphoto-videogra4256 Another question : aren’t you afraid about the antigenic test for Covid-19 upon the arrival in Norway ?
Of course, we are not enthusiastic either... But we are vaccinated 3x, avoid most contacts in the last time before the vacation and then hope to simply enter Norway.
is tromso in february nice? ipwill i see the northern lights during that month?
@@ernntheworld Hi ! I think the best moment to visit Tromsø is the end of February and the beginning of March cause the day time is long enough to discover the snowy nature and the night comes not too late so you can easily chase the northern lights !
Will you see them ? I don’t know cause it depends on the weather !!!!
But, in my opinion (I’ve been 3 times in Tromsø), it’s not very difficult : find a good place, look north and wait with warm coffee !!!! The sun activity will be at the max of its 11 years cycle in 2025 and you should easily see them if your journey is not too short !!!!! 5 days minimum…
Hey , thank you for such wonderful video. May i ask you to share with me the routing plan and from where did u rent the car and from where did you book your room and activities. Thank you
Thank U very much !
• For the routing plan, let’s see informations in the down left corner of the video,
• For the car : I used Rentalcars iOS application on my iphone,
• For the apartments : Airbnb, only Superhosts,
• For the activities : in my opinion, the best is Lyngsfjord Adventure 👍👍👍 !
Wish U a great trip ! Regards
I was in Tromso in Feb 2020. Such a beautiful winter wonderland. Sadly I didn't get to see the northern lights due to heavy snow. 😞
Next time 😉 !
Amazing video. I’m planning to go soon and would love to buy à New camera to make amazing video’s like yours. Wich one did you use ? 😍
Thank you 😊. Honestly, I’m not satisfied with this video. It’s been shot with an iPhone 11 Pro... I’ve had way better results with my Canon R6 (shooting C-Log) as you’ll see on my other videos, surch as the one in Svalbard. Regards

Yves Bocquel Bonjour Yves !
i wanna go there. thanks
You will ! Thanks 🙏 !
during winter months is there a peak time period for northern lights? I noticed you mostly go there in february? what about xmas time and into january as that is my preferred time to take all family members. also some suggest iceland, not sure which is better for expectation to see the aurora, do you have to go out of tromso to be able to see the aurora? thanks.
Thank you for watching ! I’ll post a complete answer to your questions tomorrow 😉
I don't think there is a particular peak during the winter, but I do know that late February and March are good times to see the Northern Lights.
If we go to the Arctic region in February and not at Christmas, it is because from mid-February the length of the day allows interesting daytime excursions and, for their part, the nights are quite long and start quite early for easy to see the aurora borealis (we’ve often seen beautiful auroras à 9 pm).
Regarding your last question, here are the auroras we’ve seen at the extreme north of Tromsø island : ruclips.net/video/pQj8MQ1dGfs/видео.html.
Here are the ones we've seen in Svalbard : ruclips.net/video/3eVYNSL45JE/видео.html.

@@vivaldi06 great, I will check them out, thanks!

Thank you !
What is the tour company name for the dog sledding please, thank you.
Hello ! It was Tromsø Husky (maps.app.goo.gl/xgxWYXSwp5WktTWr8?g_st=ic).
But It was not that good : not very authentic, too many people and not very beautiful landscape… If I had to do it again, I’d book it with Lyngsfjord Adventure (where we did the snowmobile). Best regards
@@vivaldi06 thank you for your reply. How about the Northern light tour? Which company would you be recommending? We are going in December 2022 😊
@@villagewaycafe203 For the northern lights, we very easily found them ourselves : no need to pay for a dedicated tour ! Just drive to a good spot (for example, the extreme north of Tromsø island, Lyngen Alps…), look north and be lucky : clouds are the worst enemy ! In this video, the footage are horrible ; let’s watch the following ones :

Winter? The sun is up and the fjord isn't even frozen. Which month is it?
Of course ! Doesn't winter last from December 21 to March 21? Our stay took place from February 20 to 29, 2020, so indeed in winter 😉! For me an ideal period, the length of the day being sufficient for long excursions, and the night falling sufficiently early so that we can more easily chase the Northern Lights. Best regards

Thank you !
I bet that the residents doesn't have a stress or high blood pressure problem. Cost of living may be costly but at least 💰 isn't paid for medical bills or Drs. 🇺🇲

Very enjoyable, driven all over Norway but in June , ( no snow ) Just a small point .. I feel the overuse of coloured filters spoils the clear and well taken video . Used only in dramatic scenes sparingly and desaturated a little would have looked more realistic … no offence … just one photographer to another …😉 Well done
Yes, I totally agree with you regarding color filters : you are absolutely right ! It was my first travel video and I wanted to do it too well ! It's a beginner's mistake that I regret today but it's too late ! Since then, I have made two other films in Norway and Svalbard, and I haven't done the same mistake ! Please, take a look at those videos and give me your opinion as a photographer ! Best regards

Contrary to popular belief, Europeans (not him) friom a few earlier centuries never liked to live in frigid places all year long, and years in the northern reaches of the geographical Inuit areas of their countries where it's forever frigid and icy almost all the time. Only Eskimos / Inuits liked such places of those three countries and Imperial Russia all year long and all around the north pole actually from just north of the Arctic Circle. . During the time of Peter the Great, North Sweden and North Norway and North Finland exported or deported all their Inuit Eskimo populations living there 300 years ago or so, living around the Arctic Circle to Imperial Russia and north Russia and Siberian Russia, in exchange for money paid to Imperial Russia. This was how Sweden the other two countries got rid of their Inuit populations and Eskimo populations about 300 years ago, in exchange for money. They were exported to Imperial Russia in exchange for money. The Eskimos were replaced by whites with a Nomadic lifestyle in North sweden and Norway and North Finland in places closer to the North Pole. I forgot the name of that ethnic group, like Sami white Inuits or white Eskimos, which had a similar lifestyle to Inuits. Like Inuits, the Sami white tribes likes fish and reindeer meat. All Inuits / Eskimos of North Sweden and North Finland and north Norway were deported to Imperial Russia in exchange for money paid to Imperial Russia about 300 years ago.
