yessssssssss foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Thank you!
*Lou Gramm* is the only true voice of *Foreigner...*
...and will be it *forever!*
The Band Foreigner without him isn´t Foreigner.
This is one of those voices that make their artist immortal...
...already during their lifetime.
Original is the best! Lou gramm jukebox hero!
Lou will always be the one and only voice of Foreigner.
Does anyone else besides me get chills watching Lou Gramm sing?
EVERY TIME 💘!!!
No chills just tears

Well there has gone through is one hell of a miracle if I remember right he had a tumor on the brain and it didn’t look good and look at them now at 70 background so 74, 75 years old. Lou is a fighter to come back from all the health problem he had and especially brain tumor most people don’t come back God’s got his angels wings wrapped around him my favorite song to
Been a fan of Foreigner since 1977, NO ONE EVER will do it like Lou Gramm! So softly spoken but his singing voice is like no other . . . SO powerful! Such a beautiful soul ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Forever Lou 😊
Lou Gramm is the voice foreigner for ever ♡
You definitely can identify Foreigner the second Lou Gramm opens his mouth to sing!! It's etched in my mind!
I agree. The imposter does not sound like Lou Graham. He might be a good singer, but he's no Lou Graham.
💘 Lou!!!
Lou 🥰
@@Katherine-L789 Same with me Katherine & I have to say, you phrased it perfectly, I realized after I read what you texted( wrote)! I realized how right you are & I feel the same way!♥️I so love Foreigner! Wishing the whole band ( & especially Lou) good health! What an extraordinary band they are & Lou singing “I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS”( in his beautiful, plaintive & soaring vocals) is “forever etched in my mind”, as well. Gives me goosebumps listening to him sing this 🎵 song( my absolute favorite song of all time!)! What is it about this song 🎵 & the way Lou sings it that makes me want to break down & cry, every single time I hear Lou sing this extraordinary song?????? Take Care!♥️
People complain about Lou's post brain tumor vocals, but when you realize the long comback, therapy, drug side effects, etc., irs amazing he sounds this good, which btw, is better than i can sing. Glad he was there, this was good.
He sounds pretty good.
@@LUckybones25 He was great for his age and with his issues!
People who complain about Lou's vocals clearly lack any humanity or intelligence.
well said...well said...thanks for the perspective.
Shocked he can still hit some of those high notes. Many a rock tenor lose that ability after a few decades of touring, let alone the things he has endured. Good for him, he's one the greatest rock singers of all time.
Lou Gramm Is One Of The GREATEST Rock Vocalist Ever !
His voice used to soar soooooo highhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Loved it!
Yeeeessssss!!!!!!
In his prime he was the best rock singer
You said it !
Lou gramm is a true legend
Lou gramm is an absolute icon ,not many can match his vocal capabilities
Agree
Yes. Rock and roll perfection.
He started Black Metal. Lou Gram. Norway
Him and Steve Perry are legends
Lou's back!!! He sounds terrific. I worked security for him in the 90's & he was a complete class act. My heart broke for him in his health battle. I'm so happy for him . He's a fighter. He's a CHAMPION. He's FOREIGNER'S lead singer.... LOU GRAMM !!!!
God bless him!!!
Amazing performance for a 70 year old man, keep the good work Lou.
Lou!!
This is from awhile ago. Look for current Lou Gramm!
One of my favorite band
Such a wonderful comeback for Lou Gramm. Whatever he lost over the years, he got back for this performance!
Lou Gramm is in the top five of greatest rock vocalists!

Extraordinary vocalist & “man!” Just love him!
I saw Lou in 2003 and his voice has improved even more in the last 21 years, God bless this courageous strong Man, Lou is Foreigner, period!
He sounds so much better than when he first tried singing after his brain tumor! Almost sounds just like he did back in the day! What a remarkable comeback! So happy for him getting better and still singing!
Lou was and still is one of greatest lead singers all time!...back in the day Lou was probably the best live singer in the industry. God bless him for getting on stage given what he’s been through.
Lou Gramm has been through so much. He is so brave and courageous to get up on stage and sing!! Wow!! I love this!!
Wow!!! Im in Tears 😢 😭!!! Love ❤️ Foreigner and seen Lou back again is Amazing 👏 Bravo!!! God is Good and Love wins every single time. 🙌
💗💗💗💗💗
Lou Gramm is Foreigner.
This song stands the test of time. It connects with so many hearts of those that have gone through traumatizing times in their lives those that have never felt real love, not just a word but vibrations you can feel throughout your whole soul. This mountain I must climb feels like the world upon my shoulder. In my life,
there's been heartache and pain I don't know if I can face it again I can't stop now, I've traveled so farTo change this lonely life. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS...
Peace and Love for all to discover what it really feels like to be loved and would take a bullet for ones that sense that electric spark.
Well, I thought Lou still sounded pretty bloody good to me. 😍😍
Yes he did! Kelly doesn't hold a candle to Lou!
Where did the bloody thing start?
Why be rotten to someone who can sing a lot better than you, he sounds good to me does Kelly, good luck to him, the band members must know a lot more than you do
I would go see Lou any day!
I saw him live at the Italian Heritage Festival in WV. He just needs to warm up and get his groove. He's awesome.
YOU ARE THE MAN LOU...tears down in my face. Foreigner without Lou never will be the same.
There is no foreigner without Lou Gramm..............
So glad that Lou survived his ordeal and is still rockin’! What a treasure for us who grew up in that era.
Lou's a treasure for EVERYONE, young and old alike. He's one of THE most gifted singers and songwriters.
that brought tears to my eyes… the crowd was shouting Lou not boo….why would they boo him? Lou has been through so much, and to get back up there and sing like that is astounding if nothing else…
It was Louuuuuu but modern day Foreigner fans aren't Foreigner fans . They're Kelly fanboys and fangirls who don't even know Lou cowrote all Foreigner hits. They're capable of booing anything non Kelly
God bless Lou. After what he's been through, his voice has gotten better and better. He sounded great
I saw the band at their prime in the 80's, several times. Then again when Lou was not in good shape & had no business singing live. It was cringeworthy at best. When these videos started appearing, I was so happy that his voice had recovered at least 90-95%.
are you joking.. he murdered this song. needs to stop. like Ian Gillan. Only Glenn Hughes voice has lasted the test of time
@@jamesriddull2082 he’s created some absolute classics that many adore. Created some legendary tracks. What the hell have you created? Do one 😃
@@jamesriddull2082 You don't know what you're talking about, so stay quiet!! Lou is awesome!
No one can ever take Lou’s place!!! It’s not foreigner without him!!! Still has it!!!
Exactly...
I was stunned from the opening vocal belt! Lou absolutely rocks and defines Foreigners sound…
I agree 💯🎯.
But they couldn't of picked a better 2 ND
Kelly carries all of there tunes perfectly and he really relates well with the band and more importantly the crowd. He hits the notes perfectly.
But it was really awesome to see the original standing by his side passing him the torch. Love Forigner .. 😅😅 I believe there was an entire generation conceived during that song. 😅😅.
(I wanna know what love is)..
Love this band But listen to Lou interview about how he was treated after singing I wanna know what Love is, was sad.
In my humble opinion, lou gramms voice at least was once one of the greatest voices ever.
Ray Benoit At one point it was for sure. Can't cheat time though....
Once? Still IS!!!
yes, indeed
Father Time is undefeated
Ray Benoit your humble opinion is spot on!
Foreigner with Lou Gramm 💖 IS Foreigner ! Nothing compares to the greatest singer ever ! We love you Lou 💖
the greatest singer ever? Freddie Mercury? yea Lou Gramm doesnt compare.
My heart and my respect is with you dear Lou... you are a warrior...
Lou was the Best! I love his voice and he pours the love out of his songs into our hearts. God Bless Lou always!
Lou is Foreigner as Steve Perry is Journey... ♥️
so rude and disrespectful how some in the crowd booing Lou Gramm 😠smh
@@rpaul8782 I agree. Compete assholes. People like that were not taught respect growing up! Sad😠
Christie Kraczek they aren’t booing. Their yelling “Louuuuu”

The cream always rises to the top. Lou Gramm outstanding.
God bless you Lou Gramm. You are Foreigner. Thanks for the great memories you gave us. 😉😎😎
God bless!
Hello Marjory how are you doing and hope you're staying safe over there?
Lou is such a legend, with one of THE best, most distinctive voices in rock EVER. His voice never fails to move me and even my mum loved this song with his ability to sing with such power and emotion. I remember once when this video came on on TV and I watched it with mum and she loved it. She had thought my musical tastes were getting a bit 'questionable' for her liking (some heavy rock, etc!) but this was one of the few rock songs that she loved! Sadly. she died in 2002 so this song always brings back the memory of her saying how much she liked it and it makes me smile and also cry a little.
I heard Lou perform in Ocean City, NJ this past summer....and got the chance to meet him at a signing after the show. The man is an inspiration....
The Best
Lou will always be foreigner!! The new guy spoils it with his " dance acts"😌😌
In his day, there was no better than Lou Gramm! I saw him in Tucson Arizona in the 1990's and it is a concert I will never forget.
I love Lou Gramm!! He always had one of the best voices ever!! He's Foreigner!! Just like, Steve Perry is Journey!! God bless Lou Gramm!!
Hello Joan how are you doing and hope you're staying safe over there?
& Joan Gentile,
ABSOLUTELY ❤️
That is a really great analogy! Very accurate! Kelly does probably the best impression anybody could do, but there is absolutely nothing like the real thing!
that's true
WTH?!?! I did not click expecting Lou to sound this good! So flippin happy to hear him sound closer to his extraordinary self after all he has been through. Keep going Lou.
Just an FYI for Everyone Talking About The Boos,,They are NOT Booing They are Shouting :"Lou" !!!.. Great Video !!
sorry i did think they were booing Lou.
Thank goodness! I was getting ticked.
When Reggie Jackson played for the NY Yankees They would have Lou Pinnella bat after him in case he struck out Reggie then thought the crowd was shouting LOU not booing Reggie.
Time for hearing aids ? The enunciation of the B and the extended oooooooooh, were not Boo-ing Lou, but Hansen who was starting to prance around left stage, if you watch closely. Some of the shorter oohs are Lou!!! for sure ! Much respect to Mr. Grammatica
Hahaha we were doing that too when they did the 40th in MI. The whole place was yelling his name too😎😎
I've attended The Lou Gramm Band shows for many years and so thrilled he's still out there performing. Not only is Lou a great singer/performer, but he's also a true gentleman. I've had the privilege to meet him a couple times and what a nice guy! He very much cares about his fans and is very appreciative of their support. No disrespect to new Foreigner, but there is only one voice of Foreigner and that is Lou Gramm!
Got to love Lou Gramm, after all that has happened to him, what a legend.
He sounds great !!!!!!!!
The crowd are certainly NOT booing, they are shouting Louuuuuuu!!!
I was thinking...
I can't see another reason at all too! Lou Gramm is an R&R icon!
Yeah I was about to comment but I was looking for soneone to explain what was going on. I certainly did not put 1 and 1 together and assumed they were booing at the band or something. Thank you for the clarification!
Wow- after so many years he still sounds great!! I always loved Foreigner!! ❣️❣️❣️
I miss Lou.... one of the best rock vocalists ever.
Me too, TIMSONGS! I so miss & love him, too. Lou has been through so much & yet he has never given up! I give him so much credit, for instead of sitting home, after the nightmare of operations & cancer that he has been through, he has put himself right back out there, taking the stage again, to thunderous applause, admiration & the appreciation of his millions of fans both there at the concert, here on Utube & all over the world! Lou & Foreigner is so dearly loved but Lou will forever, have my love, admiration & respect!
So many childhood memories evoked when hearing Lou's voice.
Proud and grateful that I met them in 1977 in Athens GR " Greate Britain " hotel when I was 17 and I'm glad that now at 60 I still enjoy them !!!!!! GOD bless you all guys. R.I.P. Ed Gagliardi................
To all those hating Kelly,Well i grew up with Foreigner(yeah im that old) Lou is the man of course, but go and have a look at the soundchecks, and you will see the respect kelly has for Lou,in some pasages Lou prompts kelly to take over.and then back to Lou absolute magic,We are lucky to see and and listen to these two wonderful musicians..Enjoy!
I love Lou, with what he has gone through, he is still just amazing. He IS Foreigner to me.
Hello dear how are you doing and hope you're staying safe over there?
Lou has made unbelievable strides in returning from his surgery. You can tell he has worked really hard at it.

Wow! The crowd is "Louing" (NOT booing) and I love it! God bless Lou for all he's been through and his full recovery in Jesus name! In '70's I'd play drums at home to all of their music, and I saw the original Foreigner twice! In the late '90's - early 2000's when Busch Gardens Williamsburg still had the MTV drumkit, every time I'd click on 70's and draw a small crowd as I played drums to "Cold As Ice".
Thank you for posting about them not booing. I felt horrible when I thought they were booing. It makes more sense they were telling Lou!!!!
Thank you for this. I was wondering why/who/what they were booing.
Thank you.
Lou so good to see you back on that stage. I hope you know how loved you are and that Foreigner molded generations thru you and the guys. Life threw you some curve balls but your passion for music will shine a light for you even in the darkest of days. Lou you are loved.

Hey lou, theres lots more to life than singing! You have a happy life with family!!
Lou has a great voice. So dynamic, edgy and soulful.
I can hear absolutely nothing wrong with Lou's voice. The whole band sounds fantastic.
Lou Gramm will always be the tru voice of foreigner, I respect him for coming back from a serious condition.
Lou has that nuance to his voice. Kelly does not.
False. Side by side. Kelly 9 Lou 4.5. Sincerely. I have been around for both. Kelly is why Foreigner

Foreigner has been around a long time. A 👍 Awesome Group who brings
Rock & Roll to the Max. All very Talented . I think they are more Popular today, than ever before. Luv their Amazing Lyrics. Their Songs are Magnificent & we can all Relate to them in some way. ..Yes, I agree about Lou Graham. What a Spectacular Lead Singer.

Incredible how Lou is 'improving' after his surgery. He's much better than 2 years ago for example
Lou standing there on stage listening to the new guy singing "I Want To Know What Love Is" must be so strange. Lou was just so amazing. Irreplaceable.
Sean, it was very painful for me to see him just standing there listening to someone else sing HIS song. I'm sure it was for him, too. But he is a true gentleman. He knows how we all feel, I do believe. And I know they practiced it that way, but practicing and performing before a large crowd are so very different.
I thought the same thing...
@Lisa Mac 👍
Hands down.. Lou.. 🤘🏻😎
. What’s the big deal about the bee guy singing. It’s a duet
Lou is such a rare and talented singer, and Foreigner isn't complete without him, keep rocking Lou!🤘
Lou, I love seeing you spread your wings, the song just takes a different feeling when you carry it…. Call me old school, but you bring a certain energy to it that can’t be replaced
Very touching to see mick Jones get emotional at the end of introducing Lou Gramm's name. Showes how special this was
To me Lou gramm is foreigner Kelly has a good voice but he's no Lou gramm love you Lou you are the best
Lou had/has one of the most iconic voices of the time. But, I just say - Hansen is also amazing - his personality and charm on stage is super! It’s not easy to front a legendary band, being constantly compared to their heyday and records.
Also, bear in mind that their are other musicians in he band who have spent their life playing and performing ... and when a singer passes or quits, their own livelihood is taken. So I respect the desire to press on with a new singer.
No kelly hasnt.got it sorry never beat.lou
Kelly is stuck on himself and he's GOT TO ✋ PUTTING HIS HAIRY ARM UP WHILE SINGING! DISGUSTING!!! LOU GRAMM FOREVER!!
For being as old as he is, and having surgery, he sounds amazing
8:55 gave me absolute chills! Lou still has it! I was born in 98 but love 70’s and 80’s music really wish I could go back in time for a weekend to see bands in their prime!
Lou Gramm and Steve Perry, two of the best singers and living legends music has ever had, but sadly both were sidelined by medical problems. What a tragic loss in both cases. - Glad to see Lou back on stage with the guys again though!
Perry is supposed to have a new album out in October.
OMG you are so correct about Steve Perry and Lou Gramm.. atleast their still with us
They will always be loved and admired.,
Steve Perry did have a hip issue, but he really departed music from burn-out. He was "crispy" as he puts it. But Perry is BACK!
Lou Grahm and Steve Perry are two of the greatest singers of all time. Journey is just not the same without Steve.Love both you guys
Or Dennis DiYoung was another axed singer.

I am old enough to have seen the original Foreigner twice and I have seen the new version of Foreigner 3 times.... I have zero bad comments for the new band, they kill it! They are very respectful of the songs and present them amazingly well. I can honestly say if you doubt them go see them and you will be surprised at how exact in tone and vocals they are.
Agreed but it's still basically a tribute band. One member left
@@dranderson6071 Foreigner fans are very fortunate to witness this concert, where members past and present appear on stage together, not many bands are able or want to that, I don’t think they realise how lucky they are. As for having one member left from the original line up, The Eagles and the Moody Blues are just two bands that have managed to carry on entertaining us for many years with only one original member keeping the songs fresh in our memories and doing it live too...Keep Rockin Folks.

I agree pearlady22! At 67 and post trauma, It's amazing he has the core strength to still perform! I enjoyed seeing him again! Rock on Lou!
pearlady22 GOT DAMN RIGHT LOU GRAMM FOREVER
Kelly earned a lot of props from me!!! Yeah, he’s a bit showy posing but I think that comes from his heavy metal hair band days with Hurricane and even in Lou’s book Lou called Kelly a strong singer which Kelly is that.
Nothing against Kelly, he does a great job. It was great they did the reunion. It's just our memories of Lou Gramm brings back the music of your first kiss, first prom, first concert and that fabulous voice you will never forget! Congratulations to 40 years of Foreigner!

Trying to replace Lou from Foreigner is like trying to replace Steve from Journey, can never happen! There's only one!

Amazing recovery from his brain surgery. He is so loved by all his fans .The other guy is amazing too.Keyboard player is super.Great performance. They should be in the hall of fame for sure. I am full of praise for all of them!,Thank you so very much.
Hello Patricia how are you doing and hope you're staying safe over there?
I don’t know why people are complaining about his voice. He sounds fine. The man is 71. No singer sounds the same at 71 as they did in their 20s.
Especially after having brain surgery to remove a tumor and then two months later be back on stage (when his doctor wanted him to wait a year or a year and a half before performing again).
Looooooove this Rockin song MmmmmLovebIt!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
For those saying they booed? No,they were shouting "Lou. Lou,Lou, not booing.

The Man, the Myth, the Foreign Legend, this song will be heard during the closing credits to the story of planet Earth, Lou is one of the greatest AMERICANS who has ever lived, Yea I know TMI, The voice of Lou and Bowie on replay over and over during the 80s kept me from killing myself as I was snorting half of Peru, Thanks guys
Lou was simply one of the best voices out there…….. another great voice; Mike love of LOVERBOY
Lou had a brain tumor. It was bad and it made him gain weight and it changed his voice, BUT, he is still Lou. Plus he is older and that changes your voice. I think he did awesome for all he has been through and his age! God bless you Lou!
Yes, exactly! Thank you.
Lovely answer.
Loved Lou, the original the reason for loving this band, but due to his illness and other problems his voice is totally changed and he can’t hit the notes he used to. I seen the guys live with kelly in Glasgow recently and they were superb, kelly isn’t Lou but he had a superb voice and does the catalogue absolute justice so just enjoy the heritage of Lou and the continuing live show celebrating it.
Effing Mick and the record company made Lou come back to touring six months to one year before the doctor recommended! He nearly died! Mick's greed, wanting to go pop, is what made Lou dip out in the first place, understandably. Then the record company underpromoted him so he would be forced to return to Foreigner!
Very well said.
I Love Hanson & Lou Both!!!!
MILLIONS Of HEARTS and BEST WISHES Are with you Daily Lou !!
Lou is a class act , Gotta Love him. He is also a born again Christian , A miracle from Christ that he survived the trauma he went through and is now back in the saddle sounding great! A true gentleman!! LOU GRAMM FOREVER!!!!
Adore Lou & “FOREIGNER!”
That's true but technically speaking, the other guy is the actual front-man and Lou was there as guest vocalist.
It was disrespectful
@Jeanne Pritchard Disrespect by the band making Lou stand there like that while someone else sings his song right in front of him. Was embarrassing and cringe worthy
