Lou will always be the true voice of Foreigner. He may not sound as good as he used to, due to age and medical issues, but he's still amazing! Lou Gramm is my all time favorite rock singer. Just an absolutely amazing voice!!!!
Kelly earned a lot of props from me!!! Yeah, he’s a bit showy posing but I think that comes from his heavy metal hair band days with Hurricane and even in Lou’s book Lou called Kelly a strong singer which Kelly is that.
Nothing against Kelly, he does a great job. It was great they did the reunion. It's just our memories of Lou Gramm brings back the music of your first kiss, first prom, first concert and that fabulous voice you will never forget! Congratulations to 40 years of Foreigner!
Lou is such a legend, with one of THE best, most distinctive voices in rock EVER. His voice never fails to move me and even my mum loved this song with his ability to sing with such power and emotion. I remember once when this video came on on TV and I watched it with mum and she loved it. She had thought my musical tastes were getting a bit 'questionable' for her liking (some heavy rock, etc!) but this was one of the few rock songs that she loved! Sadly. she died in 2002 so this song always brings back the memory of her saying how much she liked it and it makes me smile and also cry a little.
Why be rotten to someone who can sing a lot better than you, he sounds good to me does Kelly, good luck to him, the band members must know a lot more than you do
Gosh that moved me when you factor in what Lou has had to endure in his life. Lou can still sing and let’s face it, we are waiting for him when that song starts. And he can still do it.
I've attended The Lou Gramm Band shows for many years and so thrilled he's still out there performing. Not only is Lou a great singer/performer, but he's also a true gentleman. I've had the privilege to meet him a couple times and what a nice guy! He very much cares about his fans and is very appreciative of their support. No disrespect to new Foreigner, but there is only one voice of Foreigner and that is Lou Gramm!
This was my first concert i was 15 yrs old I'm now 56 . It was mind blowing. Seeing Lou again just made me cry. He sounds fantastic. Btw I lived 10 min from him in Rochester and so wanted to see him. It was cool knowing he was so close but sad that he was so ill. Glad to see he is healthy again ! And sounding fantastic!!!!
Me too, TIMSONGS! I so miss & love him, too. Lou has been through so much & yet he has never given up! I give him so much credit, for instead of sitting home, after the nightmare of operations & cancer that he has been through, he has put himself right back out there, taking the stage again, to thunderous applause, admiration & the appreciation of his millions of fans both there at the concert, here on Utube & all over the world! Lou & Foreigner is so dearly loved but Lou will forever, have my love, admiration & respect!
Lou Gramm and Steve Perry, two of the best singers and living legends music has ever had, but sadly both were sidelined by medical problems. What a tragic loss in both cases. - Glad to see Lou back on stage with the guys again though!
I have a thumbs up for Lou Gramm. He's still got it and I think he is fantastic! Not a fan of any other foreigner lead singer. No one could ever replace Lou. Lou Gramm, you are awesome. Thanks for sharing your talent with us all. And for those making an issue of weight- piss off. It doesn't matter. Lou Gramm is awesome.
Everyone has their own opinion. I think Kelly Hansen has a awesome voice and does a superb show. He's got the energy and can hit those notes. Give Kelly a break.
How to fuck up a guy's life, Kelly is no Lou Gramm and Lou Gramm is Kelly, you all should be thanking Kelly for taking on this gig, but all you get is negative shit
"I Want to Know What Love Is' is the song that sparked Lou Gramm's salvation experience...he got some revelation on the question as he recorded it with the choir (according to an interview with Gramm). Glad he turned his life around from the destructive bondage of drug use
I saw Foreigner at a concert at Illinois State University in, I believe 1974. It was the best!! Lou Gram had & still has a unique & special voice. Thanks for being in my life of music.🥰🥰 13:22
Just another masterpiece from the 80's. The original recording by Lou was the BEST!!!! Knowing what love is, is loving God and the beautiful woman He gave me 39 years ago. We are deeper in love now. We so enjoy listening to the 70s & 80s music, especially while out cruising in the exotic speed machine I bought her a few months ago, simply because I like her. She still looks hotter than her car, and I don't mind that kind of problem! Rock on! On top of that we have 7 adult children and our 5th grandchild due soon. I am the most blessed man alive!!!!!
Lou so good to see you back on that stage. I hope you know how loved you are and that Foreigner molded generations thru you and the guys. Life threw you some curve balls but your passion for music will shine a light for you even in the darkest of days. Lou you are loved.
Sean, it was very painful for me to see him just standing there listening to someone else sing HIS song. I'm sure it was for him, too. But he is a true gentleman. He knows how we all feel, I do believe. And I know they practiced it that way, but practicing and performing before a large crowd are so very different.
Saw them play this at Anaheim Stadium 77'....still feels like the first time, everytime I hear it! God Bless you Lou, Thanks to God he found Jesus... and so did I.

Gosh that moved me when you factor in what Lou has had to endure in his life. Lou can still sing and let’s face it, we are waiting for him when that song starts. And he can still do it.
simply perfect
In my humble opinion, lou gramms voice at least was once one of the greatest voices ever.
Ray Benoit At one point it was for sure. Can't cheat time though....
Once? Still IS!!!
yes, indeed
Father Time is undefeated
Ray Benoit your humble opinion is spot on!
Lou is definitely a living legend!!
Seeing Lou in concert next weekend. Can't wait to see the voice of Foreigner.
Wow- after so many years he still sounds great!! I always loved Foreigner!! ❣️❣️❣️
MILLIONS Of HEARTS and BEST WISHES Are with you Daily Lou !!
outstanding mr. graham! Im 9 from upstate ny.! that song goes out to all u.s.veterans!! " a long long way from home"!!!! 80's!!
I miss Lou.... one of the best rock vocalists ever.
Perry is supposed to have a new album out in October.
OMG you are so correct about Steve Perry and Lou Gramm.. atleast their still with us
They will always be loved and admired.,
Steve Perry did have a hip issue, but he really departed music from burn-out. He was "crispy" as he puts it. But Perry is BACK!
Lou Grahm and Steve Perry are two of the greatest singers of all time. Journey is just not the same without Steve.Love both you guys
Or Dennis DiYoung was another axed singer.
The iconic and legendary Lou Gramm....I just love this!
I love that Foreigner has the saxophone as well!!!! Lou sounds great here!!!! LOOOUUUUUUUUU!!!!
The cream always rises to the top. Lou Gramm outstanding.
You sound great Lou....as always....God Bless You Sir!!!
The original foreigner lineup was still the best.
“I’ve been waiting for a girl like you” - will always be Lou Gramm voice !!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
P I agree completly!!!The other Foreigner is just karaoke!!!
Kelly Hansen isn’t the original singer but he’s a hell of a singer in his own right!
sounds surprisingly great..
Lou Gramm !You can still sangggggggggggg!Awesome!
So good to see that Lou has his voice back! Impressed with his fortitude! God bless Lou!
Thank you Lou for your great talent and memories from 77 forward. Your voice still emminates . I always said Foriegner was the best .
Trying to replace Lou from Foreigner is like trying to replace Steve from Journey, can never happen! There's only one!
How absolutely true!
Fuckin right!!
Agree however both the replacement singers do well.
or Dennis Deyoung from Styx. Once you replace the voice that brought you the fame and fortune w/someone else...you're now a cover band.
@@jumpingjeffflash9946 BINGO!
Well said.
Same Here!
So many childhood memories evoked when hearing Lou's voice.
Lou standing there on stage listening to the new guy singing "I Want To Know What Love Is" must be so strange. Lou was just so amazing. Irreplaceable.
Sean, it was very painful for me to see him just standing there listening to someone else sing HIS song. I'm sure it was for him, too. But he is a true gentleman. He knows how we all feel, I do believe. And I know they practiced it that way, but practicing and performing before a large crowd are so very different.
I thought the same thing...
@Lisa Mac 👍
Hands down.. Lou.. 🤘🏻😎
. What’s the big deal about the bee guy singing. It’s a duet
As a singer, you must never stop singing. Keep training your voice to hit those notes!!!!❤❤❤
There will only ever be 1 lead singer with Foreigner for mine----- LOU is the man!
Saw them play this at Anaheim Stadium 77'....still feels like the first time, everytime I hear it! God Bless you Lou, Thanks to God he found Jesus... and so did I.
I just found out that he found the Lord! What a wonderful thought to know that we will have that voice in glory!
So awesome 🙏
