One of my favorite Call of Duty games. I was so hyped for the launch and wound up hating the game for the first two weeks. Then it clicked and I got adjusted to the gameplay and played countless hours every day. Had every elite variant along with duplicates, hit grand master prestige and I’ve never played a CoD game that much aside from Black Ops 2. I wish theyd make an AW2 game was amazing and campaign was good as well

Growing up i wasnt allowed to play even T games. Move in with my dad at 16. Mans had almost all cods and when AW came out i played so much of it. Got me into cod honestly
This game was so fun, I remember playing ranked a lot with my brother back in the days on Xbox. Hardpoint, SnD and Uplink used to be so fun, I really liked the customization of your character, the scorestreak you could upgrade and DLC skins were pretty good, getting the Bal-27 Obsidian from a case at midnight and trying not to freak out, calling my brother to come see, great memories, honestly underrated COD, I'll defend WAW, AW, BO3, and WW2 with my heart for being underrated games.

Supply Drops were Lightyears better than what we have today. Never spend a Dime on any Game with Supply Drops and still ended up always owning everything thanks to just having fun grinding the Game. Nowadays, if i where to still play CoD, if i dont put Money in, i get nothing. Great, spend days of your Life to grind that Battlepass to level 70 and get an Emblem, what a Thrill, definetly better than just playing the Game and getting everything.
Hard disagree because op weapons were locked behind supply drops, I played bo3 for 2-3 years got prestige master level 500, dark matter but there were many good weapons I didn’t have like the m16, xmc etc even though I spent quite a bit of money. At least now with the current system it is only cosmetics.

U can put slugs, a sniper scope and the dual trigger attachment on the lockwood 300 and use it like the mors. I used it in mw22 and had a blast with it

This is one of the cods I regret not playing. I skipped it because I pretty much exclusively played MW3 and BO2 up until I got a PS4 where I switched to Bo3 as my main cod. It's not that I ever had any distaste for the game, I did enjoy playing it at a friends house from time to time, it's just that by the time I would've been interested in it, I was already on Bo3. The release of Infinite Warfare didn't help this game at all because I saw Infinite Warfare as a more refined version of this game with (subjectively) cooler maps. I do think I would've played this an unhealthy amount if I had gotten it on release

that's a really good point honestly, I remember standards being through the roof when there was a 15 second killfeed on launch. This game and BO3 really seem like it was the last spark of the old days for the old sniping/montage scene. Since then the comm is still there for it, but it's no where near where it was pre-2014

These modded clients are a must have for people like me who play on steam deck because they don't require online in the modded clients. I play BO3 on boiii on long journeys to my dad's, I mean multiple hours on trains or in a car? Gimme some bot matches with all the weapons unlocked 😂 I'm trash so I find mid level bot matches enjoyable yet a bit challenging. It's better than most of the lobbies active these days, either facing bots, sweats or cheaters with a couple of nice normal players in there somewhere
This is the thing. People will always say the [insert Cod from 5 to 10 years a ago] is the best cod ever made blah blah. The jetpack cods got the absolute shitstick from people for no good reason. The weapon balancing in AW was absolutely garbage, only the bal and asm1 were actually good, the hbr was ok too, but the rest was useless if you wanted to actually win a game. I personally liked AW a lot for the innovations, supply drops pre monetization, futuristic weapons, colourful design etc. etc. and the campagn was nuts. Bo3 was pretty nice, IW was the most refined in terms of movement and weapon balancing. Overall the three jetpack cods were pretty cool and objetively more refined than what came before. I personally didnt like the colours in IW at all but thats actually just taste.
I think another jetpack COD would be really cool if that means we could avoid getting 3 of them in a row. I would want a COD game with movement like AW as well but less jagged. It would be really cool if you could jump out of the slide and boost into the air seemlessly
oh yeah I think if we get a jetpack CoD again it'd be a nice interval, not 3 jetpacks in a row hahaha and yeah I think I see what you mean, something similar to the smoothness of BO3/IW

@@Rxqe Reverse booting was the only fix for sbmm. But then a patch came out and they blocked this possibility. And if you died on purpose you were thrown out of the lobby. Sad but the game was great. I still have a modded account on PS4 where I have KD 0.02 and it is fun to play XD
