This was my first smartphone. It was a slow, overheating P.O.S. but it was the coolest thing I had seen up to that point. Amazing how far we've come in a decade. These innovative phones really inspired me to become an electrical engineer!

This was my first smartphone too. Got it early 2011 and already went on to the waaaaay better Galaxy Nexus at the end of 2011. I loved the HTC Desire and still like to remember back to these times, but I also remember that tiny storage space was a huge problem. Yes, you could throw in a microSD card, but you couldn't move most apps onto it. So I wasn't able to install as many apps as I wanted, which made it partly unusable.

This was my first Android phone too!, and the first time I bought a non Nokia phone for years. It was a really fun experience for me. I could customize everything, literally. I learn commands and I could uninstall apps pre installed on the ROM, I customized the icons and even gave them color, because they were white. I did so many things that I can't even do now, either because I don't remember how to, or because some things are harder to access on modern Android versions.
Before the Android era I had the Nokia 6630, N70, N73, 5800 all of them on music edition red color.

Brothers from another mother. Exactly the same starting phone and I then went for a Sammy GS3 as well, I had the sexy red version with the red lights. The desire was revolutionary for android and the s3 was a big step up too. Mad to think how far things have progressed in just 5-7 years.

Mawdo Jawo I think my dad had a BT Cellnet phone around the late 90’s which I remember sneaking out the house to school with to show off with then I had my lovely Nokia 3310, but around 2002 I remember having things like some cheap Sony Ericsson monstrosity and a few Vodafone Sagems. My last old style was a Sammy sgh g600, that was an awesome device! The desire though was my first love in the modern phone world.
