ICYMI: 2014 comes to an end but what a year it's been for Smartphones! Which 5 came out on top of the public vote? #2014
The Samsung galaxy note 4 is the best one this proves that the public can't be fooled.
SuperSaf TV Nexus 6 1st place , Its has great specs and stock android . That's something note 4 can't say which I'd give 2nd place .
Nexus 6 doesn't come with a s pen regardless of stock android and doesn't come a virtual headset.
Leroy young not everybody wants a pen with their phone and the Samsung note 4 doesn't come in a box with virtual headset .
I'm an iPhone 6+ user and absolutely delighted, but very disappointed that the HTC ONE came at number 5. I know about the camera, but the sheer build quality of this phone is second to none and very tempting!

I think the HTC One M9 is going to hit the top of the list when it comes out, but this is my opinion right now.
I got iPhone 6 and would of liked it being number one but I have to definitely agree with Note 4 being number one as I would have got it if I waited bit longer.

Mohamed Jowhar maybe next year as I have not used any smartwatches properly this year, they have some way to go to become mainstream. Yup I think the audience should decide!

totally agree with this list. I'm surprised the the iPhone(s) weren't higher up in percentages tho. tuff vid.
I have to say I love my One m8, the speakers and the design are basically what made me consider it and because I don't like most skinned versions of android and sense to me is quite acceptable. As a photographer, I do not mind the camera too much as most of the time I use a dslr and for anything else I just wanna share with a friend quickly or on social media, the shooter is more than sufficient. I really like the manual controls the camera app offers and I was actually blown away by the recorded sound in a video I took at a Lindsey Stirling concert with even bass being as well recorded as it was at the concert and without any distortion at all. Couldn't be happier with it, especially now running gpe lollipop.

Note 4 for me if:
-Front firing speakers or louder speakers
-No touchwiz
You do know that you'll lose its Spen features and multitasking windows.....
Maybe it isn't the best skin out there in terms of smoothness but it has really useful features that take a lot of advantage of the big screen, not like the iphone 6 plus or the nexus six with has barely useful screen size. And in terms of speed, the note 4 is a beast, it's simply one of the fastest, if not the fastest out there, just watch speed tests. So it seems like touchwiz is not the same as before. My opinion as a happy Galaxy S4 user for more than a year. Sorry for my english

Just flash another ROM, that should solve your touchwiz issue.
touchwiz kind of sets it apart from "just a phone with a big screen" to a "phablet" though cuz it adds phablet features like s pen and multitasking
Great video! The people got it right can't wait for next year when they introduced even more premium and better specs & water resistant & dust resistant! It is one huge beast of a phone & I've thrown everything on it in more and I can get it to slow down are freeze up it just keeps on keepin on in runs so smoothly never overheats with all day battery life with heavy heavy use Thank You Samsung !

I agree Supersaf. I have the Galaxy Note 4 and I Love it. It is power, has the best screen resolution, multi tasking is out of this world plus a premium build. Great phone and the masses realize it too.

IPhone uses samsung' s parts and it's for the people which don't like customization of there phone which is my favourite part

Oh, and Samsung would probably be the number one choice for a lot of people (including myself with the note 4) if it wasn't for the software and how the UI looks. Also we want updates as soon as possible and You just don't get that with Samsung

I'm a bit confused by this results and in particular by the absence of the widely praised Nexus 6 and the MotoX!
I mean I use an iPhone 5S and a Huawei P6 (so "old phones" compared to these models!), I don't like at all the new iPhone 6 and 6+ overall experience (the only remarkable thing is maybe how thin they are!) and honestly I thought the HTC and the S5 would be in a much higher position (like 3# and 2# position) and with a much higher % of votes!
Undeniably the Note 4 is the best right now (as it has been since the first Note model!), but I still don't understand this "phablet mania", I'm maybe older than many of you guys (I don't know if that's the reason), however I still like to have a phone as my phone and a second device (tablet or laptop) when I do the "non phone" stuff (like videos, photos and my work in general!) instead a huge phablet which in MY opinion and based on MY use it is too big as a phone and too small to fully replace a tablet or a laptop!
On the other hand I think is interesting to have a hybrid portable device to do much more than what you can do on a "regular" smartphone!
Anyway Saf, I really like this public vote, congrats to you on a very smart idea!

M8 is much faster in performance than the z2 But the rear camera of z2 beats the rear camera of m8. So basically which would be the best one to be purchased?

Note 4: snapdragon 805 or exynos?
The octa core is faster and it has better benchmark result although it is more battery drain i prefer the exynos because of the performance and of cource it supports 64 bit tha maybe not for sure will be unlocked with lollipop if sumsung want it.the snapdragon dont support 64 bit
The Exynos doesn't support LTE. I guess it depends on what network you're planning to use as well.
Bugs Bunny no its supports Lte 4 up to 150 mbbs but snapdragon get the edge here which supports lte 6 up to 300mbbs i live in greece and we have 4g up to 50mbbs so for me the lte is exactly the same both octa core and snapdragon so i prefered the octacore version
