I'll be using it with a Sig M17 gas blowback (VFC) airsoft for now. It has pretty good recoil with co2. Thinking of just shooting BBs so I can also confirm the hits on paper
Thank you. Remember that you can also combine MantisX with SIRT Pistol, and laser picking target such as SMART TARGET. Then you can train even in your home with target confirmation. Downside it that you won't have any recoil, as you can get with an airsoft.
No idea on retailers, other than Amazon (where I got mine and my friend got his) but the umarex brand of blow backs seem to be good quality. I'm sure there are higher end ones, but that brand seems to be a minimum standard. If you are buying cheaper, you may get lucky or you may not. I have the 12g co2 but my friend's green gas is more convenient for sure. Probably a better value as to propellant.
2.0 draw to first shot on a target only a meter away? That's pretty fast for the average 12-year-old girl, but damn slow for someone who claims to be an instructor. When you can do draw to first hit in 1.0 or less at 13.7 meters....then you can call yourself an instructor.
