I have a GP with a manual winding mechanism that belonged to my grandfather. I have no idea when it was made, but I am guessing early 1960s. It sat in a drawer for decades. I cleaned the exterior and polished the crystal but it winds up and works just fine after all of these years. I don’t imagine it’s very valuable but it means a lot to me to have it.
One day in a second hand shop and send to the girard perregaux to change the glass it was to expensive to pay the cleaning and the do it for free i only pay the glass .Everyday using my watch am tinking of them this is more thats what we expect this watch is magic and make me proud to be swiss thank you again and again
