ProToyz Speedster Hopper Review

ProToyz focus on making entry level paintball products, this Speedster is the highest end product they make. ProToyz first stared in 2017 by Planet Eclipse to offer budget products to paintball fields and new paintball players. They offer very basic 2 and 3 pod packs, a chest protector, and various other small accessories.

Everybody seems to forget about the Valken Vmax. It´s super reliable, light, easy to take apart, feeds fast and the plastic wont break like a halo or HK speed.

Loving mine. They are tough as nails and get crazy battery efficiency. It is my loaner and gear bag backup. Not questioning your feedback, but there are a number of videos showing it keeping up with 10.5 bps ramp just fine. Definitely accurate on it being heavy.

This thing is also great if you have something like an older autococker that doesn't play well with force-feed loaders. It would also be excellent for fields who want to have an electronic loader as part of a 'premium' rental package since they're never going to have to worry about it coming back in pieces.

I bought one on a whim due to curiosity. It is indeed slower than a revy and heavy... But its absolutely bomb proof. I wired a virtue n-charge to mine and it'll probably sit in storage as my revy did. On a serious budget, I'd get an hk speed or z2 over this for serious gameplay. Mow a few more lawns and buy a spire ir2 or ltr.

Valken VMax Plus at70 is a killer deal and beats the Speed in quality of material and construction and only being $5 more than the loader here, feeds much faster. Incredibly easy to take apart and clean in under 1 minute

I like it for my gmek, never had and problems with it till I didnt have rnough paint in a run and gun. Did have sputters and problems with my etek4 though. Buy nice batterys for it had problems with it when the batteries were low and had some jams. Changed to new batteries and jams disappeared.

I think Lonewolf did a review on this and was able to maintain I think 15 balls a second maybe a tad less but a lot more than eight balls a second.

Im sire the rate of feed also has something to do with how hard the motor runs which adds factors to reliability, longevity and even possible ball breaks.
I also think this hoper would do amazing on snipers. Great for pump paintball.

protoys claim 11+ bps on it its a bit of a streach but it does great on a stormer nigh on eliminates dry firing and its a great thing to hand out to people you see on the field if you meet someone nice renting and playing open group give it to them for the day and there day will be so much improved not having to shake their silly rental gun to get more rounds to load.

best conclusion ever. that was hilarious, but also extremely accurate. i got my son an Emek with ID Fang trigger with a PAL hopper and told him when he wants an electro he needs to save up for it. this looks like a great option and he won't have to save up quite as much for the Spire iR2 that i have.

i think the jump between the pal hopper and this one is not a big enough step up to make a difference. i highly suggest the spire IR

@@AhmadRiyal I love my Spire. Getting an 11 year old to save that much isn't easy though. I support most of this hobby for him but there are some niceties that he gets to buy himself. Lol. Perhaps I'll find a good deal on a used Rotor or Spire for him.

I was able to shoot my speedster at 10.2 bps with my Axe 2.0, I wonder if you got a bad one? I bought one out of curiosity and ended up using it when i loaded a pod of soup into my Dye rotor 2 and didn't have time to clean it. Didn't sputter or chop.

Same here I got my dad a mini GS and he said it was shooting great and didn't have a problem with it . He went through two boxes of paint no problem

I gotta say the best loaders in the game are the Spires hands down! Even the OG spire is still a good loader if you could find one. I still rock mine even thou I have every loader from Virtue & Bunker Kings. From the Spire4 all the way down to the OG spire. If you could find an Spire IR on the cheap in gold condition, I would snatch it up. Cant beat the eye system.
