Knitting my first sock EVER 😅Reactions, Frustrations I hope you can relate and I’m not the only one🤣

Hope you get a good laugh / or if you are an experience knitter it could remind you your early years as a knitter. 🤣😅 🤭

Clover Brand / Bamboo Needles
No.1 9 Inch circular needles (called for size needles)
No.1 7 Inch DPN’s
No.1 16 Inch circular needles (there was no 32 Inches at Joann’s so I thought I could get away with 16 Inches for the magic loop method, this was too short for my own liking)
No. 2 48 Inch circular needles (I thought if the 16 inches don’t work I could use these longer cord, but they were out of No.1. I felt the cord was always on the way, and did not like transferring the stitches)
Chiaogoo Brand / premium stainless steel needles
No.2 9 Inch circular needles (IM A HAPPY WOMAN, I love how the stitches slide from the needles, and it has made my knitting much faster, I feel like I am not fighting with the stitches anymore. They are a little bit more sharper in the tip then the clover brand in my opinion)
No. 2.5 9 Inch circular needles (Story time: Luna got too excited/bored. Wow I was sleeping and thought my knitting project was a toy, she nipped on the cables of the needles so I couldn’t use it anymore. Thankfully, my sock was intact. Just a couple stitches off and the lady from the yarn store was able to help me out and get it back in track, they did not have any more NO.2 so the lady suggested to go up a size and she said right now you are learning how a sock is made and you do knit tight so 0.5 would not be much of a difference if you don’t mind, I went with it😊)
No. 2.5 6 inch DPN (for the heel constructions it felt very awkward on the circular needles)
And that’s my journey with this first sock, I don’t know if it will fit, but I try my best and I’m going in with a positive attitude. Also, I was recommended to go with low steaks here since apparently your first ever knitted pair of socks never fit ha ha ha at least that’s what I’ve heard from several friends.

Try two 24 inch needles. Makes knitting socks so much easier. RUclips has tutorials on how to use them.
