- Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is a steel roller coaster at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, Florida. With a height of 167 feet, a length of 3,800 feet, and a top speed of 65 miles per hour, it is the largest X-Coaster ever built by German manufacturer Maurer Söhne.
The unique part of this ride is that you can select your music for the ride.
I think the mic on the new video glasses is picking up sound too good now that the music is actually setting off youtube content ID flags.

One of THE best roller coaster experience of my life. Right next to Apollo's Chariot at Busche Gardens.
I always choose that when i ride this, its such a great coaster song.
I rode this for the first time a couple days ago and I chose the song "I will survive" which was perfect since I have always been terrified of roller coasters and this was my first time riding such a big one, I randomly chose the song and got lucky that I liked the song. The ride was intense for me but I liked it and the upbeat of the song went so well with the ride.

Even though this ride has a few problems with Universal and overall with the "rocky" ness of the track, the idea of listening to a choice of 30 songs (more if you count the hidden track list) keeps me going on it if it has a short wait. 3rd fav coaster on my list behind Hagrid's and Velocicoaster.

Back in Winter Break 2017, I went to Universal Studios and I almost went to this ride. I chickened out at the last minute because at the time, it didn’t make a full stop to make sure we were buckled up properly and I kinda regretted not taking the chance.
okay i really wanna ride this coaster but a tad scared of the initial drop. i’ve done both hulk and velocicoaster. i had no problem with them. i loved them. smooth sailing. is this more intense? just as intense? i need input haha
No where near as intense as VelociCoaster just not as smooth it’s a bit rickity

why are their so many breaks in the ride. That sucks
To allow multiple cars on at once without them being on the same piece of track. Universal tries to have as many cars going as possible per hour

Okay time to rant a little bit. I went on this for the first time yesterday and here’s my thoughts.
OW. This ride bangs your head around a LOT and there’s nothing there to “catch” it if that makes sense. So like, your head will get pulled to the side when you go around a sharp turn because of the forces, but there’s no protection so the pulling feeling is intense and uncomfortable almost to the point of being painful. I hope I explained that okay lol. My head hurt for about 45 minutes after this ride. Which is a shame because I LOVE the idea of it! Sometimes when I hear a good fast song I think to myself “wow, this would be a fun song to play on a roller coaster” and that’s literally the entire purpose and theme of this ride!! One of the songs I daydreamed about that with was Devil Went Down To Georgia, and when I got on the ride, lo and behold that’s one of the songs you can choose to listen to! I was so excited about basically getting to have one of my weird daydream fantasies come true that I almost thought the headache was worth it. To be honest I’ll probably ride it again the next time I go even if it’s not the smartest thing to do just because of that alone LOL

Honestly this ride is good but there def is some little rough parts
the climb makes me sick lol plus the restraints make me feel like i'm gonna slip off
I’m think about riding this ride. I’ve never road one with a loop or upside down. Any tips?
It doesn’t go upside down at all.
Take deep breaths and think happy thoughts in the queue and on the lift hill, once you get past the non inverting loop (it doesn’t go upside down) its smooth sailing. Your going to have a great time, just try not to think about how high up in the air you are. Once again, this ride doesn’t go upside down, your safe from that. If you want to try an inverting coaster, try the Incredicoaster at Disneyland (California), its very tame and if your looking to try out a loop to dip your feet in the water, thats the perfect place to start. Have fun 👍🏻
Don't put your head forward or down. Most inversions (moments on coasters that go upside-down) actually have forces that push down on you, making you feel heavier for a couple seconds. Leaning forward can hurt your back or neck because of the forces.
Basically, just relax your body while riding and go with the flow, keeping your back in an upright position so that you can experience the ride normally.
