The perfect addition for your wood working tools. Sawset Pro Protractor solves all your miter needs! But Sawset Pro Protractor and a Sliding T Bevel makes it easy. This RUclips video shows you how to use this unique carpenters protractor that has been redesigned to be compatible with any miter saw. Unlike a standard protractor it's scales have been re-calibrated to give perfect miter saw settings every time, with absolutely NO MATH EVER! The miter saw cuts at a fraction of degree, so why not have an angle finder that can find those degrees? This tool is the perfect companion for your miter saw. If you own a miter saw, you NEED a SAWSET! Your Miter Saw is designed with 2 adjustable angle settings. One at the back, which enables you to tilt/ lean the blade, which gives you the bevel setting. The other is on the front of the saw parallel to the table, to adjust the miter setting. These settings done correctly, will give you that satisfying perfect fit! The companion to the miter saw is the SAWSET PRO PROTRACTOR. This tool is able to find the saw setting for every condition with no calculations necessary. And because of it's large size it's easy to read and find a fraction of a degree for that tight fit.

Yeah man, I'm pretty sure anyone who needs this video won't have these tools. Like myself, I have a miter saw but none of those measurements tools.

I wonder if you can take the same concept and use a folding saw/knife or two shims screwed to pivot and butt up against a T square that has angle measurements to get the angle. I, too, do not have this specific tool but I have done this to get angles so far. I haven't made the cuts on the mitre yet since today brought rain but plan to test it out on some wood scraps starting on the conservative side of the angle to leave room for reduction if needed.
I am not a pro builder but a "that's good enough" person that will shave fractions to perfection with my Japanese flush saw and use the winner as a template.
