Not just my opinion BUT.... The Fender champion 40 is ALL any person needs plenty of goods at your finger tips when needed and very well worth the price for the gigging pro to non pro alike. Not sure ? Go see for yourself .actually, all one needs is 40 watts and your well set. Happy trails and good luck to all . enjoy !!!!!!!

Ya Boy Osama I agree with that guy. For years I gigged with a Fender Deville but I'm 60 now and it's just to heavy to lug around anymore. I use a Champion 40 mic'd now and love it. The auto-wah sounds silly but love the tones and the other effects are all useable.

To be honest, a musician worth their salt can make affordable gear sound very pleasing to the ear. A terrible guitarist with no modicum of technique can take a Dumble and make it indistinguishable from a Line 6 Spider if they don't know what they're doing. Point being, terrible guitarist with good gear will still sound terrible. A great guitarist can within reason make the most of the gear available. As the adage goes, a good craftsman doesn't blame his tools. Same rules apply in the guitar world.
i couldnt agree more , i ve been a gigging musician for 42 years now and all i use is a pedalboard and a roland cube 60 and thats even more than i need.
I can barely understand German but I love how you play that Strat. Saw the other demo for the Fender Mustang amps and I think the Champion sounds way better. More natural versus the synthetic sound of other solid state emulating amps. Fender has a sleeper amp champ with this one. I can't wait to demo this amp in person to see how it sounds. I think the open back cab makes a huge difference versus the closed backs of the Mustang series.
This amp has very good clean sounds and the fender settings like the tweed and blackface sound good. It's easy to dial in a Brown Sugar or Funk 49 tone.... the british settings sound either harsh or just have a gritty sound, to me. But hey it's a Fender, it does fender sounds well. Plug in a good british sounding pedal and its the best both

Bei einer Session setzt sich dieser trans AMP auch gegen einen Drummer durch. Erstaunlich klingt eine Hollowbody oder andere Jazzklampfe sehr gut und durchsetzungsfähig über diesen trans AMP! Dafür kann man ihn auch empfehlen! 😎🤔😉 Der Frontman 25W FX war schon gut, leider nicht laut genug.....dieser ist noch besser!
Shame no English version of these demos. Would have reached a much wider audience as the guy can really play and clearly knows his stuff.
I think thats not their goal to reach a wide audience sadly... i think "session" wants to bring people to their shop to test stuff and of course for maybe buy a guitar or an amp. and its way easier for them to just do it in german as most of their customers are germans ... im lucky their shop is located near my hometown in Frankfurt am Main. its an absolutely gorgeous shop! ...but i feel with you mate :(

I have the same amp and it sounds really great when I'm playing my Ibanez ART 320. I guess this amp is all about the guitar you're using, because my Squier Mustang sounds like ass lmao

That is the strangest Spanish dialect I've ever heard. But it's okay because that is a super awesome Fender Strat and you play pretty good for a White Guy. LOL
Can you plug an acoustic guitar into these types of amps? I'm a little confused, I can't get a straight answer.
Yes, you can plug it in and get sound out of it. But it won't sound like an acoustic guitar, nor like an electric guitar. If you want your acoustic guitar to really sound like an acoustic, then you need an amp designed for acoustic instruments, like the Roland AC-33. But you can try it and see if you like it. It won't damage your equipment, so don't be afraid to try!
you can do it but it wouldn't work fine, i did and it wasn't a good idea....but it works great with my tele's, my strat and my two gretsch's

Martin Tudela esa viola suena muy bien pero yo tengo un ampli exactamente igual y te puedo asegurar que no suenan así esto está recontra editado y acomodado mira si va a sonar como un vascular y menos con el parlante chino que traen lo podes mejorar si le pones un celestion pero igual no suena así. Saludos
Si quieres mejorar el parlante de un Fender, le pones un Eminence. Celestion es para amplis ingleses.
Lo está tocando atraves de una guitarra buena y los micrófonos ayudan también

+elmero mero Honestly... The Fender. I was considering the MG100CFX, and I found it underwhelming... So I looked ALL OVER for an affordable tube amp.. couldn't find one, and now I'm back to this fender amp!

The mics used in this video are the Sennheiser MD-421 II and the Royer Labs R-121.
