I sent this to my boyfriend a alcoholic whom refuses to listen to me drinking daily and showing signs of mental illness problems and memory loss and sleep apnea snoring every night we are not sleeping together for 10 years and his brain has shrunk so bad he can't process things or retain info depending on myself to do everything myself around the home. Routine is so important and change brings on anxiety disorders and anger issues is huge wanting to fight and argue about everything. Always thinking about money it is a obsession. Entire family of drinking functional alcoholicizum in his family but in his mind that is normal. Denial is huge because no one including police refuse to take it seriously allowing him to abuse his partner asking him if he wants to have his partner removed from the home just horrible police in Canada.

As a tight-roper (balance and dance on a tightrope), I confirm that there is an effect after only a few of alcohol. If I take a small glass of beer, it's enough to change my balance capacities. I don't feel the effect on the ground, normal life, but if I go up on the rope, I can still walk, but my body needs much more movement to find balance, and high-level exercises are very unsure. (I did it some rare times... if I can do this with alcohol, that means, I master this figure 😁).
Of course, this feeling doesn't mean that damages the brain, but at least, if we lose thin coordination abilities, just a bit of alcohol is not nothing.

Because, I am not sure that to look at videos is very healthy for the brain. Wa can just compensate by looking good videos : Damage - 1, but long term benefits + 9.

There are plenty of people who live “the perfect life” are into fitness and die at 40, and people who have a drink every other day and live till 90. I have seen real alcoholism where people need it every day progressing into a bottle a day. Everyone dies, your time might be tomorrow or in 40 years, so stop worrying about other people having an occasional drink and start worrying about the the folk who actually need to hear it. It probably is. 1-2 a day won't even damage you on the long term. Yet it makes a difference if it's one or two glasses a day and being able to leave it too or if its 1-2 bottles a day and you can't go without it. Moderate use of alcohol can help relax from daily stress and alcohol is a blood cleanser and anti inflammatory. This should not mean you have to promote alcohol use, actually you better say; not recommended at all. But there's more to it. There's lots of examples of people for example living a European mediterrane lifestyle with good food ánd some daily alcohol that reached the oldest aged on earth. I have a grandma, aged 95 now, she'd like to drink a low alcoholic beer a day, or a brandy before sleep. I bet it's healthier than taking any pharmaceutical crap that has poisoned our brains the past decades. People used to start drinking alcohol because of lack of clean water.... We still have lack of clear water with all the poison and plastic that gets in there and can't get filtered out "the water quality in this area is currently bad due to a chemical factory dumping in it; but it's not a treat for public health; YEAH RIGHT, I'll have a glass of beer after every glass of water then.

It's a tradeoff, because if you don't drink at all your social life atrophies and your anxiety and stress levels increase dramatically in the long term, like after a year or more of not drinking, which is also very bad for overall health. More like one or two per day, sometimes more. Depends on activities. Healthy for me. I'm mainly speaking of beer, not more than about 5% alc. Wine less often,… drunken from shot glasses, keep it precious. Liquor not more than a teaspoon or two, infrequently. Don't over consume. Prudent consumption. Understand the J curve.
