You can visit these waterfalls if you are staying in Egilsstadir town (Egilsstaðir) or Hallormsstadur (Hallormsstaður). The hike can take up to 45 minutes each way. You will see Litlanesfoss Waterfall as you hike to Hengifoss Waterfall.

Thanks for being one of the only channels to actually show the trail so we can gauge the difficulty. Much appreciated. New follower gained!

It's funny but I came to this video for that exact same reason. By the time I go to Iceland I will have been 11 months into my recovery from back surgery and I wanted to see if this is something I can tackle. Thanks for the detailed video.

A great video, very informative & pretty much tells it as it is. I will squeeze this walk in if I have time & the weather. Probably best with a sunny day like you had!

Thank you. There is also a good hike in that region called "Waterfall Circle". It is a little bit long hike (3-4 hours) but it is worth it. ruclips.net/video/KYZ0p7N_vpc/видео.htmlsi=80ue_p1ZcU5zlB-3

Thank you for being so detailed on not just showing us all the beautiful destinations, but also for showing up how to get to them. There are many videos of Iceland, but yours are the best. Was considering going end of June 2026. But the weather looked amazing in July.??

I’m am starting from the beginning with your video arriving to Iceland. I had hopped from one video to another in excitement of how wonderfully and informative your videos are. But since most likely I will be driving counterclockwise as well, will follow what you did. Well maybe not every single location, but close enough lol.. I ask God’s blessings and protection over you, as I see you take risks by hiking as you video. I truly appreciate all you do. Moving forward, when will travel to other destinations, I will look at your videos for guidance. God Bless!

I think in the winter you might run into snowstorms. With lots of snow

In the winter, it is really hard to drive to those remote areas. Most roads are closed.
