I bought my Mission on Earth at IL CENTRO in Milan (built on the bones of the former Alfa Romeo main plant in Arese) last October, and only later discovered the worldwide craze behind collecting this Omega x Swatch collab…who knew..?!? I love it and wear it often…my first Omega and first Swatch in one…with a happy backstory to Milan and Alfa Romeo, one of my favorite car makers..! I love that you have found the full set over time- take care of them and enjoy these fun yet historic watches..!
Love watches and cars. But, not as a collector. One GMT II that I wear all the time & 3 cars used constantly (1 M3, 1 Boxster, 1 360). I get that it's your job to get/collect nice stuff (& change for content), but clearly you love doing that inherently. Must do to produce so much good content at such a rate. Hats off to you & thanks for all the viewing.
didnt know that you have a watch channel. Being recommended this video since i've wathced a few Moonshine videos. loved that you shared your adventure of collecting those 12 watches. really enjoyed to see them in a single video next to each other.
I literally just picked up a Mission to Moonshine Gold at the Copenhagen Swatch flagship during a special full moon 1AM drop. The line got long, but most everyone there seemed to get a watch, it was incredible!
Was cueing at swatch… and nothing!!! I’m in London. My next attempt will be at the Battersea power station mall. So jealous you managed to get them all 😆
I got the mission to Pluto watch yesterday by chance when visiting Glasgow and randomly calling into a swatch shop. They are so cool! And what a story! Love the idea of having the same watch as you Tim! You’re an inspiration!
@Shwatch150 A very delightful video thank you for making and sharing this video. So enthusiastic but informative. Congratulates on getting your full collection. My favourite is mission to the sun and also own Mission to the Moon and Jupiter.
I'm working my way into getting the whole collection. I'm very lucky where a store is right next to work so whenever I want one, it's been easy to grab whatever I want. I like Earth, Sun, and Uranus the most.
Lovely to see you have all 12! The hunt is certainly the most fun part of having them. I am just missing Neptune and ofcourse the Moonshine which I hope to chance upon sometime soon 😁
I feel that Swatch should have done all the hands gold plated. (Or at least the chrono + minute + hour hands)🙂 It would have set it apart more from the regular moonswatch.
Fun collection even if the price is a tad much for what are plastic watches, am more into Seiko 5 special editions but can get the fun factor of it all 👍
For me reading all the negatives about these watches, if you can collect all I think it's a great collection to have. Let's face it what it's done for the watch industry is great.
I love to see all your new aquirments, I've also followed your shmee and shmuseum channels from day one, my wife referres to you as one of my best friends 🙈 I'm a big watch collector myself, could you do a video on your aventi watch, I've been waiting to see this for a long while Thanks Tim and keep up the amazing work you do, if you ever need a hand in anything you do, I'm available 😂😊👍👍👍👍
I have been waiting for this video, Congrats on getting all of them, I am soon going to get the regular Mission to the Moon, or the Mission to Neptune, whichever one is avalible, I just have to drive 2 hours to my nearest Swatch Store.
I was lucky to get one on my first try at Dubai Mall, I ended up with one of my favourites being the Mission to Pluto, one which matches with lots of my cloths. I think they’re a bit of a novelty as a watch, the movement could be better for the price and the materials could be a bit more sturdy and High quality. Although as a concept I think it’s excellent and was bound to sell out from day 1. I think 10 years down the line a moonswatch in good condition will be incredibly valuable.
I want a Mission to Neptune. But I've learned how rare it is and online they're crazy expensive. I've accepted that I'm pretty much never getting one lol
I wonder how they handle the restocks of these watches because I just stumbled into a swatch store yesterday and purchased a Jupiter but there was a solid 25 man line that only took about 20 minutes to get through
Awesome collection well done - would love to have them 👍 just wish they were a better watch - closer to a good Swatch or even better Omega - still Jealous 😎 - Cheers
I have a Moon Swatch. I love it. I will look to buy more when supply is better. Do you think they will get to a point where stock is greater than demand? Or is the short supply keeping the hype?
It was really well managed. The security split the queue into groups of 10 who got to know each other, so people couldn't jump the queue easily, and this allowed people to get a snack or use the bathroom without losing their place. They aldo split the queue into sections as to not block doors to the shops and offices. There were hundreds of people there and according to a member of the security staff they only had 300 watches, so a lot of disappointment.
Partner queued up for a Christmas present for my to see eBay sellers walking out with 5-10 of the same version. Security saw them each day and allowed it. Then she was asked if she would like to buy one from the boot of someone’s car round the corner for £100 more as they sold out in the shop. She came away with no watch and no present for me. We keep trying though
Yeah I think a lot of the negativity is because of how unattainable it is - if people genuinely weren't bothered they wouldn't be so angry! This edition is a very rare watch indeed, congrats!
I think it’s more about the tragic devaluation of the Omega brand more than anything. It’s the equivalent of Fiat putting Ferrari badges on the back of a 500 and trying to pass it off as a cut price Ferrari. I’m sure certain people would still buy it though, those that can’t acquire the genuine article, and no doubt they would get great pleasure saying “Hey look at my Ferrari!” While Ferrari owners wet themselves with laughter. It’s a genius bit of marketing for swatch though, being able to sell a £25 watch for £250 though, especially a watch that constantly breaks and even gets scratched in its own box. Each to their own though 😊
@@markclayden7654 I can see how some people would think that, particularly Omega owners (I was concerned about that myself when the were first released), but in my opinion it has only increased brand awareness and desire for the brand, particularly when they’re difficult to obtain. The original Moonswatches have been criticised, particularly for quality, but they haven’t received anything compared to the slating this edition has.
@@thomasf1531 Scratched in its own box, cases that leach colour, breaking buttons, cracking cases, cracking “glass” movement failures… you think this is the “Brand awareness” that Omega needs? Or wants? The Moonswatch’s material value is less that £10, the cost to assemble it and get it through QC is £18. There are only 2 Swiss components in the entire watch, the power coil and the PCB in the movement, the rest of the watch in its entirety is made in China and assembled in Switzerland. The great irony is that not only are the Chinese copies of this watch better quality, they actually have less Chinese parts in them, the better ones having a Miyota movement. Even more irony, Swatch make a watch called the night flight, fully stainless steel with a decent quartz movement, and it’s a dead ringer for a speedmaster. And it’s £70 less than a moonswatch. People buy the Moonswatch for the name Omega, no other reason. They think they’re getting something from a brand associated with high quality, but they aren’t, they’re getting a Swatch. And a bad one at that. It’s the perfect marketing ploy so hats off to Swatch for that.
I find these watches and the marketing of them fascinating. The bold colours, cheap material, omega partnership, and the way they’ve restricted sales to not be online and only certain locations. The night flight is an objectively better watch but it doesn’t have the hype! 😂
I totally get why Shmee likes then. You can’t hang around London or New York wearing a Daytona or Wraith. Even if you just want to relax and fool around without worrying about what’s on your wrist. Plus lighter is comfier
I am hoping that Omega x Swatch use the stainless steel 'Irony' range to be inspired enough to make a Mission to the Asteroids edition, now that would be very cool..... a MoonSwatch with a textured dial to resemble the surface of an asteroid....Ultraman hands , the robustness of this one would make it the most attractive of all the MoonSwatches.
I nearly bought a mission to earth today but to be honest, the faded white dials put me off. I'm now sorely tempted by Pluto which I never expected. Does anyone have one of either? How do they hold up with wear & tear?
Well congratulations! It is extremely fun collecting things and the hunt can be the most enjoyable part of the process. Having said that, it does feel incredibly good when you finally complete a collection. I hate the fact though that Swatch decided not to sell these watches online. Any idea why they decided to do that?
If only you could buy the briefcase that the boutiques show them in, for the original set… but then the gold hand version will need a new display box. Mission to. Arts looks Coll on a red nato strap as well
I managed to get 4 in Poland the other week for myself but stupidly only sell them in London and Edinburgh in the UK making it impossible to get hold of them.
People was expecting a gold version of this watch. Or at least with visible gold details. But only the second hand? And the price increase is also ridiculous.
You know what’s even more amazing? How you manage to make a 15 minute video about a watch that’s literally got a gold coated seconds hand.
Tim needs to be a swatch ambassador !
He is! Paid or not he makes people buy Swatch! :))

I never knew this channel existed. Not a watch person but can appreciate the story behind them.
Hi Tim. My son has Pluto. I have an Omega Speedmaster l bought new in 1973!! (£69)! Still keeps fair time. Gains 1.5 seconds in 14 days. Cheeeeeers.
No way Shmee! I've been trying to get one of these for ages! You are very lucky! Enjoy 😁
Keep trying and you'll get one eventually
@@740414daan Very high pricing though. I'd rather buy one new, it would be a lot nicer.
@Shwatch150 No you won't I've tried over 20 times
Just buy a proper watch instead.

Ah congratulations, good to see you yesterday ❤ me and my wife was in your group
I didn't knew you had a watch channel until now! Fantastic video 🙌🏻
Happy for you... don't mind the negative comments they're much jealous of you.
Enjoy!
Well done for getting all the watches from the store!
Great collection
After 2 years , finally I got Mission to the moon.
This is a bizarre channel, however with Tim being such an incredible presenter he makes it really interesting and entertaining to Swatch.
I see what you did there xD
@@Shwatch150 😁 you could literally make stamp collecting interesting buddy!
ive got 2! mission to moon and mission to mars, i love them, i live in colombia so i had to buy them over retail, i have no regrets

I decided to purchase a moonswatch after I saw Tim wearing Mars because at first, I was skeptical about the velcro strap.
I got the mission to Pluto watch yesterday by chance when visiting Glasgow and randomly calling into a swatch shop. They are so cool! And what a story! Love the idea of having the same watch as you Tim!
You’re an inspiration!
All one take! Impressive. I lost out on a full moon event in Vegas during CES when they ran out. At least I got a few free moon pies for my troubles.
@Shwatch150 A very delightful video thank you for making and sharing this video. So enthusiastic but informative. Congratulates on getting your full collection. My favourite is mission to the sun and also own Mission to the Moon and Jupiter.
I’m surprised Swatch haven’t make Tim a Swatch ambassador already
He might be paid by Swatch...
It's 100% sure he is getting paid by Swatch otherwise he would have already swapped this crappy strap
I have never been paid by Swatch, I have no commercial relationship with Swatch.
@@Shwatch150 clearly he or she has no knowledge or have never seen your videos on the Shmee150 channel
Would love to get one of these but live hundreds of miles from the nearest Swatch shop. As soon as they said 'never online' I gave up.

You need to get the elusive moonswatch display case

Amazing collection, what watch are you wearing in the last video you did on the hurricane car that Tavarish bought?
Congrats! Was lucky enough to get my wife earth while in Hamburg and have been trying to get Pluto since the initial drop.
I hope you can get it soon
Finally got the Pluto and put it right on a suede strap!!!!
I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled to try to spot these on your main channel videos!
Nyce collection man....
Thank you
When are you going to show your blue AP Royal oak?? It’s been a while since you last wore it in a video
I just wished they wouldve used a crystal. The plastic scratches too easily. Mission on Earth is my favorite
