  • RAISING AWARENESS FOR BENEFITS OF EGGS AND CHICKEN CONSUMPTION IN HUMAN LIFE.
    The useful properties of chicken and eggs have been repeatedly questioned. People slandered this product which has now been proven to be unique in its composition in various ways.
    Bright Side collected the results of recent studies on the benefits of chicken eggs for the human body. It turned out that 2-3 eggs is the optimal daily dose.
    Both the white and yolk of an egg are rich in nutrients - proteins, vitamins and minerals with the yolk also containing cholesterol, fat soluble vitamins and essential fatty acids. Eggs are an important and versatile ingredient for cooking, as their particular chemical make up is literally the glue of many important baking reactions. Since the domestication of the chicken, people have been enjoying and nourishing themselves with eggs.

      @@pectoralis1565 it's true, hens can lay eggs everyday depending on their environment and diet, hens need many hours of sunlight in order to produce eggs and the quality of the eggs depends on their diet. However commercial chicken farms that produce caged eggs use artificial light instead of sunlight because caged chickens do not have the freedom to roam free during the day since they are locked in cages all the time, hence the eggs produced by these caged hens are called 'caged eggs'. The whole process of producing an egg and then laying it takes about a day and once a hen has laid an egg, it only takes a few minutes for the whole process to start all over again. So a hen could potentially lay 7-8 eggs in 1 week.

    The Yolk - It starts with the yolk forming in the hen's ovary. When the yolk reaches the right size, it is released into the oviduct, where the rest of the egg will form. The White - In its journey through the oviduct, the next layer to be added is the egg white (albumen). this layer takes about 3 hours to be formed. The next layer to be added in the oviduct is the shell membrane. This takes about 1.25 hours. then the shell is also formed in layers over the course of 19 hours. The bloom is the protective layer or cuticle that covers the egg shell and is the last layer added in egg formation. It is added after the egg leaves the uterus, right before it exits from the hen’s vent. This coating seals out bacteria and maintains the moisture inside the egg. Leaving the bloom intact will help keep your eggs fresher, longer.

    • @halfway7690
      @halfway7690 Год назад

      If an egg is fertilized, it'll take about 21 days for it to hatch. A hen will sit on as many eggs as she can fit under her and that's up to the discretion of her owners. If they want to put 9 eggs under her then she'll sit on all 9. (Provided they fit) Maybe there'll be 5 freshly laid eggs in a nesting box and a hen goes broody then takes over the nesting box for her own.
      Yes, a hen may raise just one egg. As lovely as they are, they're not super intelligent so they might sit on any object resembling an egg. Some hens steal eggs/wait for other hens to lay eggs in a nest until they think they have enough to sit on. Then they stop laying and just sit on the eggs for the 21 days and hope for the best. Sadly those eggs might not even be fertilized and she'll leave after she realizes they're taking too long to hatch.

Sadly those eggs might not even be fertilized and she'll leave after she realizes they're taking too long to hatch.

      they have a "whole line" of yolks n just the shell is made in 24hrs. kinda like female humans, they have all their eggs too but only 1 a month goes thru the fallopian tube (most of the time lol)
