This was 🙌🏻👌🍹Thank you Sebastian - I need to book another trip to Italy… Venice! I love listening to you and your enthusiasm for everything Italian and its history!
Your videos are so clean man, I think you have the perfect recipe for quality short documentary videos. I love the "old/blurred" title cards, the archived B roll, you have nice composition, and you took the time to shoot in a cool library 👌 Plus the subjects are perfect for any food enthusiast, I hope you reach more and more people.
Thanks a lot man. It’s great that all these touches are being noticed. I actually got in trouble for that library establishing shot. Glad it wasn’t in vain!
Another great story! I’ve never have been a great fan of this spritz fade, but I learnt something and now want to try this Cynar bitter! Your channel deserves more subscribers!
Well, another eye-opener. I have only ever ordered Gespritzter, after first having one in Vienna. And that was just local white wine, and soda water. I had always thought 'spritz' was just another American truncation of a longer European word! And if I need to add Prosecco to my normal Campari Soda, then so be it! I like the idea of adding an olive to the garnish - there is my finger food to go with the aperitivo! And as for using a plastic 'glass' - I shudder at the contemplation of it; good glass, every time, for cocktails, wine, and even coffee. Wonderful videography, superb writing and presentation. For the life of me, I can't understand why you don't have a bigger following. The world is missing out on something very, very good. Salute!
My deepest gratitude! I’m glad the hard work is noticed and provides some value and new insight of your aperitivi. I cannot underline how much I cherish reading these well-versed comments of yours. They encourage me to keep going, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and this channel will grow overtime thanks to curious individuals such as yourself. See you on the next trip. Best regards from Venice!
Good video, grazie! but you could also add my favorite: Cappelitt Spritz also with a story of Austrian soldiers. Less sweet, than Aperol and with natural color. Try it if you have not. Made in Italy, and available in the United States at Totalwine.
Another beautiful video 👏. In Padova, where Aperol originally came from, they insist that they invented the spritz. For sure, they have a strong tradition, and some bars have entire spritz menus with dozens of variations. The favourite drink of local students. For me, though, it has to be Select spritz, which has a uniquely complex flavour
Aperol Spitz was in fact invented in Padua not in Venice, you are right ( detto da un veneto purosangue ), and, as a Trevigiano (from Treviso, a little city very close to Venice), i drink only Aperol Spitz
Amazing video, thanks for putting this together.

Awesome! Thanks Megan :)
Italy will always be here for you 🇮🇹
While in Venice, always Spritz Select! It impresses the locals when you order it 😄

Can believe this only has 30 likes amazing video
Thanks 🙏

@@sebastianmessinger haha clandestine video shooting, you're dedicated to the craft
Another well documented and well put together video. Keep it up! With time, your channel will grow,... no doubt!
Thank you kindly! With this kind of encouragement, the growth is inevitable. Rome wasn’t built in a day!

Thanks! Tbh, I was never a fan either but I love a good story. The cynar has that similar herbal taste you’d get from jägermeister 😅

After having tried seemingly all variations, I can’t help but agree. Select is the choice of the intenditore. 💎

Epic vids
Epic shrimp
Select tutta la vita!
🦁🌊😍
I use Carpano, white wine and soda - and call it Veneziano, served with two Olives and no Orange...
