Have you tried ACC with firmware v1.1.5 ?
My Simagic Wheel GTS on Simagic Alpha Mini turns automatically to the right when starting a race 😭
No problem with firmware v1.0.20 but this firmware simulates a Logitech G29/G923 and not a DirectDrive wheel (Fanatec DD Pro).

i feel like I got ripped off, there's no real tutorials to show how to up date firmware or step by step instructions how to connect peripherals. how do you connect pedals, h pattern shifter, handbrake?
hey so I have an interesting question. I have a playstation compatible fanatec wheel base. Can I use a wheel emulator like the SRM tiny and use the wheel base natively on the playstation but then use the cortex to connect my simagic GT Neo and use that for button input?

Hi there. I'll try to do that. It should be straightforward, but sometimes these interfaces can be tricky. Maybe yours requires a firmware update. I'll try to cover that.
Try using the front USB port though. It seems that's the only one that works. The ones in the back won't work because they are not 3.0 USB ports.
Good review, are you using the new simpro 2.0 software? Waiting for a the sigma cortex to update before switching my gear as have it all waiting.
Hi there. I just upgraded to SimPro 2.0. It’s still a Beta to me with lots of features still unavailable but a little better than 1.3. They also released new dashboards but not all of them are working. They are about to release a new patch to solve the issue.
Im just wondeirng what base and or wheel you choose when in game? Like f1 2023 you have to choose base and wheel. Which wheel would i choose? Im sure you choose csl dd for the wheelbase but what wheel rim?
You can chose the G29 Logitech. That’s the button setup they used as a base.
@@WJMMotorsports and it doesn't hurt how the dd operates? Doesn't limit ffb? Everyone ive talked to use the csl dd profile from what I heard?

Hi! Could you tell, PS5 in gt7 recognizes it as a logitech g29, some thrustmaster or fanatec?
Hi there. It recognizes it as a g29 as far as I can tell.
Actually. I check with them and apparently it’s a G923 from a button mapping perspective. The FFB settings though feel more accurate than in the Logitechs but that might be because it’s a direct drive wheel.

I think it won’t work with the haptics. I have to test that out. But my first bet would be that they won’t work. Unless there’s a firmware update to include it that I’m not aware of.

Does the simagic fx pro wheel screen work with sigma ?

I don’t think the Handbrakes are supported even when they are connected to the can bus. But I asked the Simagic support about it. Stay tuned.

Is the device pretty consistent and stable with performance? Im netween going with simagic or fanstec equipment, but im on a PS only for now. Would love simagic but not sure if i can trust this enough for 100% playtime.
Hi there. To be honest, if you're on the console only, I'd go with a Fanatec, especially considering they have good Direct Drive bundles for a reasonable price right now. If you have plans, though, to move to a PC later, then I'd consider getting the Simagic with this device.
Do you think the sigma cortex can work on console if it’s hooked up to P1000 pedals only? I have a Fanatec wheel base that’s PS5 compatible, but I want to upgrade to Simagic P1000 pedals and keep the Fanatec base if possible. Think that’s possible for PS5 gameplay?
I don’t think so. It’s meant to communicate thru the base afaik.
@@WJMMotorsports that makes sense. I was hoping there was a way the pedals could run separate from the wheel base with the sigma cortex. Similar to what you’d do on PC with mix pedals and base brands
How have you managed to make this work on ps5 ? I tried absolutely everything every firmware updates but when i connect it to ps5 nothing happens i'm so desperate 😢
I've heard about some people who had issues connecting it, too. I'll work on a step-by-step tutorial. It seems that you have to use the front USB port for it, not the ones in the back.

I’ll try to make another video but it’s very simple. You the splitter to the wheel base and the split ends will go to the PC and PS5 through the Sigma converter. When playing the PS5 I flip a switch in the splitter and that’s all
@@WJMMotorsports Please show us your "splitter".... as I can not find a USB 3.0 Splitter.... only USB Hub's? Does your Sigma Cortex plug into a a USB Hub, then that splits off to the PC and PS5? is that what you mean?
Has anyone had any luck reaching customer support for this device? I attempted a firmware update using files from the official site and it is now bricked (stuck in BOOTLOAD MODE).
I'd love to get this working again, as the brief time that it did work (wheel only; I attempted firmware update because pedals were not working), it was amazing.
BTW, thank you for this video. I only discovered the Sigma Cortex thanks to this.
Yes i cantacted them and i'm using alpha+p1000 pedals+ GTC wheel i was having trouble connecting to ps5 all i have to say is your device has to be on version 1.0.15 and the only way i downloaded it is by simagic official customer support on discord ... they will send you a link to update the firmware to this version ... after that everything should work but very important before connecting your device, your wheel has to be in factory preset mode ... do not modify any button color or whatever otherwise it ain't gonna work and other think very strange if you have a logitech G Hub installed on your pc your update isn't gonna install on your device you have to uninstall g hub completely before that ... hope it will help you good luck !!
Have you tried to reset to factory settings? Or also connecting it to a PC to do that?

Only Simagic for now AFAIK

Nothing noticeable that would harm the game play. There's a tiny input lag but it's less than 200ms.
