I'm gonna use this song in my wedding, during the part when my American mom, who's gonna be the "Mother of Honor", gives my hand to my partner, Johnny. She's gonna say a special blessing for us, as we've known each other for many years. Most people have a "Maid of Honor", but since our wedding won't be "traditional" we'll have a "Mother of Honor" instead. I first showed this song to my American mom on Mother's Day one year, and she tells me it brings tears of joy to her eyes.
I thought of Whitney right away too when Linda Really got into the song. She and Whitney had the same RICH WARMTH AND DEPTH to their voice. Linda IS DEFINITELY Broadway's Whitney Houston. My Gosh, So Phenomenal.
@@brookemartin6101 The amazing thing about Linda is she is able to belt without pushing it to the point of straining. I am sure if she sang the song today, it would still sound as good as that recording and there's not a lot of belters you can say that about.
I'm thinking maybe '91(?)....As I recall, it came out as a single maybe around spring of '92, I think. It's from "The Scarlet Pimpernel"...I think I only ever heard it on the radio once, but used to hear it over the loudspeaker when I worked in a grocery store. I loved it and it was so hard to find music back then, no internet. I think it was on the adult contemporary chart, but never hot 100

🙏Can I PLEASE save THIS!?!?. I think Linda sang this EXCEPTIONALLY GORGEOUSLY with Mr. Bryson. 😯🥴⬅️CHILLS!!.
Peabo has that voice that allows him to sing duets with almost anyone. He is godly gifted.. Perfect duet.
wow ! first time listening to this beautiful, powerful ballad ! amazing singers!
Ms Eder was obviously Mr Wildhorns muse and Mr Bryson has the ability to match the power of her voice. A fabulous arrangement of a beautiful song.
Beautiful Song
Two perfect vocal specimens!
Love this...
A special dedication to ( a certain Indian boy) who has stolen my heart. I love you madly darling.
Perfection 😍
Just utterly fantastic......that's all.
An almost Whitney-like tone (sans the melisma procession), what a versatile singer she is!

Okay I'm holding the CD in my hand as we speak. It says copyright 1992! Maybe I was too lazy the day I left the other comment, LOL
. I could have told you had I seen this earlier as it was me and my wife's wedding song from way back in 1992.
