With the Hungarian and Vienna productions, Wildhorn restored it to its rightful place - and it can be found both on the Rudolf demo, and (in German, as ,,Vertrau in uns") on the Original Vienna Cast album.
The song was originally written for Frank's show "The Scarlet Pimpernel" - that is what this version is. The demo for Scarlet Pimpernel - Margurite sining to Percy.. He took the tune and reused it with slightly differently to use it in Rudolf.
