Hey everyone, we're back with another room tour! This time, we're doing a Barcelo Maya Riviera room tour through the Junior Suite Swim Up Premium Level.
As you probably already saw from the resort tour, Maya Riviera is massive, luxurious, and very modern. The rooms match that design, with a fresh, modern look. The crown jewel of this room is the swim up pool. We can't get enough of the pool, it is definitely worth the top-up to premium level for this room.

Actually no, we have been there in "Beach" and "Caribe" in 4 different standard rooms , but it wasn't any steamers..

@@AnnaAnna-qu5nh this video is exclusively about the Maya Riviera, which is the Adults Only section, and in this section all rooms come equipped with a steamer. All rooms of all categories. Beach and Caribe are different hotels part of the same resort, so not within the scope of this video.

Note:
I traveled with two adult kids! The couch is very hard!!!!!
The sun doesn’t hit some of those swim up areas…so it can be VERY cold! While we were there, no one ever used them because it was soooo cold!
The steamer was in all the rooms not just in the upgraded rooms.
Tub on lanai…many haven’t been used, so you may have to fill and bubble up for 10min first! The water may be brown! Then empty and refill and enjoy! Use the soap…makes for a fun bubble bath!

I guess the sun exposure depends where the room is located 🤷🏼‍♀️ we didn’t have issues with the jacuzzi either, but thanks for the feedback 👍🏻

The shower is open, but the bathroom has a sliding door.
