Hi Zubi, I hope this message finds you well. I’ve been following your videos, and they’ve been a huge source of motivation for me thank you for the inspiration! I initially had a pass in marketing but decided to pivot and am now studying HVAC. I’m looking to apply to schools in the USA to advance my skills, and I’d greatly appreciate your guidance and assistance in this process. Thank you so much for being a blessing to people like me.
God bless you for the knowledge you impact in your followers like me . I wish you could be my mentor I will be very glade and grateful. More energy boss!.
Question: I am from Nigeria. Is it true that only those with fully funded or 75% scholarships get visa approval, but those with self-funded get denied even when they genuinely have the money in the account and have explained correctly how the money came about?
People without any funding too get visa approval. Your story just has to make sense. If you can explain logically how the money came about (and you also look like someone with that kind of money 😄) then you’re good. Bear in mind that 56% of Americans don’t have up to $1k savings (You can check this online) so if it’s above $20k, you have some serious convincing to do.
@NzubeOhalete you are right. I am self funded and got my visa approved. You just have to confidently make sense of how you plan to fund your program, establish home ties and emphasise that you will come back home after your program.
How come I have been following you and never knew Nzube did msc at BGSU?😢😢 Same course and school im applying to. I reached out to the grad coordinator today. Hoping for a favorable outcome ❤
Thank you Nzube for thus insightful and well detailed video, in my case, i have HND and later did direct entry with it to obtain BSc (2yrs program) and came out with 4.60 out of 5.0, now i want to take IELTS by early August and by the grace of God will be taking GMAT by September ending (I'm in the field of business and management). My question now is, Do you think i will meet up with the application window, are there likely scholarship/funding opportunities for management and also can i still proceed with credential evaluation with WES.. your response will be highly appreciated
I really like your profile. Your CGPA is high (4.6 😮💨). Really nice… I don’t think you need to write the IELTS as a Nigerian except your dream school requires it which I suggest you should confirm first. GMAT is good for management related programs so that’s a good step but I’d advise you shortlist like 5 schools then confirm that they require GMAT before writing it. Business related degrees don’t get much funding in several universities but there are some that do. This is where research comes in. Confirm if your University needs transcript evaluation too. There are so many possible things you can do but confirm that they are needed first so you don’t waste money. 💰 Application window is August to Dec/January so you’d definitely meet up if you finally write all tests. I wish you the very best. 👍👍
@@NzubeOhaletethanks for your response, I’ve explored some school websites and for most management related programs GMAT is required for masters like University of Alabama when i explored their website for a particular management course and also it helps to boosts one’s profile when seeking for an admission offer and i also want to use it to apply for an international scholarship like Erasmus mundus, Fullbright scholarship amongst others, moreso the essence of IELTS I’m writing is for trying out another European country for masters scholarship. But I’m not doing WES yet except the school requires. I appreciate
Hi Nsude and Team, I really enjoyed your insightful lecture. Does anyone of you know about University of Bridgeport and what the school actually stands for? Your comment will help me to take a final decision. I await your swift response.
Please do we actually need different references for each school application. Can't a refrence be used for different school applications? Love your RUclips channel btw 👍
You can use the same 3 references for all your applications. The point is if you are applying to so many schools like 15, having each person fill 15 recommendations might be a lot so that’s why we suggested having many options to choose from. Thank you for your kind words.
Thank you so much. Is there a video addressing scholarship for non stem students or a video compiling a few schools that has full funding for non stem students @nzube
The three presenters will always be fulfilled in life; they generously shared valuable information with us at no cost.

I have successfully submitted all my applications but this aspect of funding is what got me confused.

Most times in Nigeria
