Congrats on 10K Tom! I just realized today I wasn't subbed, I could've sworn I was. All good that's fixed! Looked like an interesting day, it was indeed a Monday! The skidsteer squeaking would annoy the hell out of me! I don't think I've ever encountered that one.
I would suggest getting a f750 with air brakes registering it under 26k so it’s under cdl a lot of people will tell you that air brakes cdl but they are wrong you can call the ny dot and they’ll tell ya air brakes don’t matter we run kenworth t300s registered under 26k and f750 registered under 26k total game changer.
My parents owned a trucking company. 26ft box trucks all weighed just below 26k and all air brakes. No cdl. Because most of them are actually “air assist”
@@aaronandvicky7652 we have one with air assist rest are full air brakes you can put 7 ton legally in them here in my state with no cdl now if you wanna go outside the rules you can easily get 10 ton filled to the top if you have two boards
A lot of states you do need an air brake endorsement on your license though. It’s that way in Michigan. You take a 10 question test about air brakes and you’re good to go.
@@jelinektreeservice we don’t in ny state. Tom would be good to go could buy a f750 put it at 25999 and be good to go. F750 are very versatile trucks they can tow a machine as big as a 160 obviously with a cdl driver. They are just great to have around to send someone to to get 8 or 9 yards of top soil etc. I’m sure the roll off trucks haul a lot of but this much fast and can fill it as bigh as you want and you don’t haft to worry about it not dumping.
@@snowblowerman5115 the thing about trying to get around getting a cdl or hiring a cdl driver and having a f750 at 25,999 is what is actually legal payload because I'll guarantee you it's maybe only 5-6 ton. So even if it can handle 10 and you get weighed you're still over legal gross weight no different than over loading a f550. Usually easier and more cost-effective in the long run to buy an actual 33-39,000 gvwr truck and go cdl
Love the vids ❤ I started a lawn care business 2 months ago and just hired my first employee recently. Any recommendations/tips ? Wish you all the best of luck !!
Thanks for the birthday wish Danny! And Tom, I guess you staying on my couch makes me some “viewer” smh. I’ll be sending an invoice soon for payment for your stay
6.7 Fords all day. 7.3 is great in the single wheel pickups but the 450 with the 7.3 lacks power compared to the diesels. Love the Cummins as well, I just prefer Fords.

For large acreage properties the stand ons are much more efficient. We have quite a few properties with crazy slopes which is why we run the walk behinds.
I'd do a set of bearings daily over owning another Exmark ever again, 196 hours and my brand new Lazer has been to the shop 6 times. My used Lazer is a money pit too.
@@tylerb272 really? All we run is exmark and never had a major issue. Have a 2023 x lazer and already has 1200 on it. Bought it June 2023. Have a 2015 that was used everyday for 5 years has 4300 hrs. We did a wiring harness. A clutch and a few pulleys.

Congratulations on your 10K Subs Tom! Next stop 25K.
What a great gift on a Friday, a maggs RUclips video🎉
Let’s see mikes truck roal alittle black smoke to celebrate 10k!

I’m at my construction job but I had to watch this video before I start work, Michael just needs some 17” raceline rims with 35 tires on that truck

Every scag I’ve ran and seen always needs new front bearings. Exmark deff has the advantage over that with them.

Amazing how expensive tires have gotten lately, isn't it? lol!

Another benefit to Mike taking his own truck is your trucks don’t smell like cigarettes 🤣
