    I replaced mine a few weeks ago had a lot of trouble bleeding it and still have to pump it quite often to get pedal. I did not replace or recall seeing a crush washer I bet that’s my problem. Thanks your videos have helped me many times to keep my old b2200 on the road.

    This happened to me a few months ago, was trying to rev match the gear change but finally got a red light and it was game over 😅. Easy fix, and a flexi hose slave cylinder was the choice I went with. No dramas now......except my rear main seal...... Geeeeezuz!!!!

    Nice, for those who haven't "had the pleasure" of swapping a new one in. I've had my 1988 B2200 since 1994 and here's what I've done on my slave cylinder: Oct. 1995, rebuilt it. Dec. 1996, rebuilt it. Jan 1997 new slave, lifetime. Sept. 1999, warranty slave. March 2003, warranty slave. Sept. 2008, warranty slave. Oct. 2011, warranty slave. March 2023, warranty slave. My plan has been for a while to replace both clutch master and clutch slave at same time. The previous lifetime slave cylinders were through CarQuest/Advance (many different brand names on the boxes through the years), but I doubt that I'd deal with them anymore, had to go to the store 4 times in 2023 to get the replacements, not worth it.

    Had to do mine back in July, not too bad of a job, pain in the butt getting my wrench on that hose nut for the final tightening I believe haha, but other than that, not too bad. I was fortunate to have someone that could hit my pedal for me so I bled it that way. I can't remember if I had a crush washer or not, I'm leaning towards not, but so far so good, no leaks and everything works, although my pedal feels a bit different so maybe that's something to look into.

    Great video man. I do have a question. I hear heavy creaking sounds when I press and release my clutch. What could be causing this, any tips?

      @MazdaMitch  10 месяцев назад +1

      Could be the fork against the throwout bearing, it could be DRY, I usually have my for lubricated.

    Sorry to ask an unrelated question but I wanted to comment on your most recent video. Can you point me in the right direction online to find where the spot welds are on the front end of these things? Mine needs new inner fenders & core support but I can't find anything on Google 😊

    • @MazdaMitch
      @MazdaMitch  10 месяцев назад

      Your best option is to start taking it apart, you'll see the spot welds. Get a spot weld remover tool to use in a drill and go at it.

    Hey mitch! So my 1990 b2600i might be having problems, i pressed in my clutch pedal and it stayed down and wouldn't come back up till i raised it with my foot, then it operates normally. Should i go ahead and replace my slave cylinder? its all from what i can tell oem still

      I would and all the rubber lines AND the master as well. Do this before it puts you down somewhere in a parking lot and it's 105f outside

      Did you use a crush washer on your hose connection? If not it'll suck air in.

      Same he did but make sure the hose is tight to the bleed screw no air coming out or inside and pump the clutch the other side of the hose inside a bottle with fluid so when u let the clutch go ill suck just brake fluid no air
