    Nice. I've been running genuine Redline Weber in my B2200 since 2005. I also used Permatex Aviation (no RTV). I needed a stronger return spring, and real good vacuum caps too. I used blue Loctite. Lower adapter to the intake manifold gets torqued to 12 ft lbs; upper adapter gets torqued to 6 ft lbs (72 inch lbs).

    Man you are doing the most for these trucks I just picked up an insanely clean one that sputters a bit and the previous owner said he replaced fuel pump and fuel filter, runs decently now but still has stock carb with 118k miles on it and cant wait to tackle this because of you. My confidence with it is through the roof and it'll be my first time replacing a carb not on a lawn mower lol, thanks Mitch!!

    Hey, I have a mazda b2600 I think but am not sure because it was abandoned in my granfathers farm. Are there any major difference in the carburetor needed between the 2200 and the 2600 or will either work? thank you!

    • @MazdaMitch
      @MazdaMitch  4 месяца назад

      Most of the 2600 are fuel injected. If you happen to have an 86-89 2600 it could be carbed, and there is a kit fo that.

    Hey friends, if I remove the original carburetor from my 1989 Mazda B2200 and install a Weber, will it pass the California smog check? Thanks.

    • @MazdaMitch

      It's doubtful but you can ask in the forums and maybe someone in California has done that.

    That bowl vent doesn't need to be open to atmosphere huh? I've always suspected mine to lose its fuel prime and in need of a check valve before the carb. Please advise.

    I have a new electric pump installed close to the fuel tank as it supposed to and I’m getting the 3 psi with the fuel regulator but after a couple min pressure decreases. Does that has something to do with the carburetor? Be cause later the Pressure picks up again
    Thanks

    • @MazdaMitch
      @MazdaMitch  8 месяцев назад

      Not many of us use a regulator. Your pump may be weak and your regulator redistricting too much. I have a video on my channel showing how we went from the electric pump to a tried and true mechanical pump. Works better. ruclips.net/video/iPkH8LKhhL4/видео.htmlsi=_T3vBjysVrS58nzF

Choke might be a little off But almost every time I go to shut the truck off it continues to run for a few seconds like 3 seconds. It didn't start doing it until I put the weber on the truck. Any Ideas? I could really use your help if possible. I don't know whats causing it? Thank you

    How is the mpg with the Weber? Is it better or not? Or what’s the different on oem vs Weber?

    • @MazdaMitch
      @MazdaMitch  Год назад +1

      I have a few videos 9n here showing me getting 27 mpg. I get that on 5he hwy consistently regardless of season. Usually doing 70mph and ac on in summer.

    • @MazdaMitch
      @MazdaMitch  Год назад +2

      What's better about the Weber vs the stock carb is a lot less bullshit to deal with and less bullshit that can go wrong. Easier to maintain, a little more hp and mpg at the same time.

    • @MazdaMitch
      @MazdaMitch  Год назад

      It may, but it could easily be the valve stem seals. When things are not used often the seals are not lubricated and break down
