That’s not unusual, depends on the type of sound they are after. I have mutual friends with these guys and met abi a handful of times. I don’t believe they are plants, maybe they are being favoured because they are good. And their style is very London uni. Very csm. A lot of the people I know dress this way. Some of them may come from money but that’s not new in the industry.

They've been named BBC sound of 24 and they always push these artists. Happens every year. Why should it be different for thus group somehow. Do you get upset every year?
Yeah cause musicians famously never do any publicity when they've got a record out. Maybe if you took off your tin foil hat and listened you'd realise they're being pushed because they're very good.

@@hughgrection5674 i encourage you to see them live, or listen to the album. you have no idea how talented they all genuinely are. emily is literally a virtuoso guitarist in her own right, and their songs are so well written. if it's not your cup of tea, fair enough, but the hype is deserved and they truly back it up.
Great band. I have their album. A breath of fresh air to the music industry.
I get the same joyful vibes as I did with Wet Leg. I bet they are fabulous live. Great to see something fresh coming into the mainstream
